VIDEO: Bhakti Shastri (002) - Sri Isopanisad Invocation
Isopanishad written originally as series of articles  by Srila Prabhupada in his “ Back to Godhead”
magasine published by 1944.
There  is most mystical address of the Absolute  Truth  in Isopanishad. Style of Isopanishads isthat they
are enigmatic, because it is meant for intellectuals and intellectuals don't like whne things are too
simple , they like to speculate and stretch their minds. This is  catering  this need and at the  same  time
leading   them  to Ultimate  Truth.
Concept  of infinity – if you take  something out from infinity infinity  still  remains the same. Even if you
take many infinities out of one infinity, still it remains the same.
INVOCATION  OVERVIEW
Supreme Personality of Godhead is the  Complete  Absolute Truth
Absolute Truth has many manifestations – Brahman , Paramatma , Bhagavan. In Isopanishad that is
sruti, the Absolute Truth is not called by personal name, because upanisads are  giving  transitional
knowledge , they take people from karma kanda towards bhakti. Srila Prabhupada follows this practice
and he  almost   never  uses the word “ Krishna ” in the  whole  Isopanishad. He uses impersonalists'  words
to bring them  beyond  impersonalism.
The Absolute Truth is always sat-cit-ananda, but He is not always  perceived as sat-cit-ananada.
Jnanis realize His  eternity  or sat aspect – Brahman realization. They  understand  that beyond this world
there is some kind of eternal existance and they conisder this a highest  reality
Yogis realize His sat-cit – eternity and knowledge aspect – Paramatma realization. They understand
that Supersoul is  everywhere  & Supersoul is  conscious  of me, my activities and I want to be conscious
of Supersoul. At that stage one doesn't consider the Supersoul as the  object  of devotion but as the object
of meditation. There is no reciprocation of love  through service  and pastimes.
Bhaktas perceive His sat-ci-ananda aspects and have complete realization of Absolute Truth.

There is no difference btw Brahman, Paramatma, Bhagavan from the point of view of Absolute Truth,
all are Absolute Truth. Yet from the perceivers' perspective they are perceived at  different  levels of
completeness.
Material  world is complete
Theist and atheists have arguing –
theists say there is so much right it the world, look  how the clouds are  forming and rain is distributed.
Atheists say there is so much wrong in this world – rain is falling also to the oceans where is  already  so
much water, what's the point?
One has to see the design in connection  with the  purpose . Evidents of design are undeniable in the
world. When we say that smt happens automatically it is not the  proof that there is no designer existing.
Automatic  means  that no direct   intervention  of the creator or designer is  seen from observer's
perspective. Yet  control  can be delegated or invisible.  Lord has made this world this way that once
made it will go on itself. That is the  perfect   management  which requires  minimal  or no management.
That things are structured so well that they go on their own with least possible supervision. The
absence of the need of constant  intervention is not indicative of the proof that there is no intelligence.
Actually it proofs that there is  such a perfect intelligence that there is no need for constant intervention.
We have to evaluate the design in connection with it's purpose.
      Material world

is not  designed  for our enjoyment                is designed for reforming our mistakes
Imposing our purpose in it makes us frustrated. Such  places  where there is some subsistence but also
suffering, are  jail  and hospital   among   others . That suffering is there does not  mean  there is no designer.
That means designer has designed jail for particular purpose -  to punish and  reform  the  prisoners . So
the scriptures explain that this material world is like a prison and hospital.
When we see the design in connection with purpose then we see that the material world is perfect.
When we see the design separate from purpose – we will never understand how the material world is
perfect.
An example of perfect design:
FACTORY  A
(human body )
Raw material                           Waste  product (CO2)
Waste product (O2)                             Raw material
FACTOR B
( plants )
That, what is the  dream  of every industrialist, is already actualised in the  nature . It's a majestic design!
Human form offers complete
Human rights  – not the rights what  animals  get from nature (food, shelter,  clothing , etc) but what none
but humans
can get – the right to enlightement, the right to  understanding  the purpose of life, the
right to understand the purpose of the world &  living  according to that purpose.
BE A  PART , NOT APART!
In the human form we can attain completeness.
Sense  gratification is illusory completeness. Devotional service – real  completeness.
Our completeness is dependent, Krishna is independent. We are  tiny , limited, therefore  if we try to
enjoy by our own, we will not get complete enjoyment. Because we are tiny, we can get only little bit
ejoyment. But when we connect with Krishna, then because Krishna is infinite, our connection with
Krishna enables us to experience  infinite  happiness . And that way by  connecting with Krishna we attain
completeness. (ie hand - when it's connected to the body is complete, when cut off from body – useless)
DEVOTIONAL SERVICE makes us complete by connecting us perfectly with the complete whole
SENSE GRATIFICATION keeps us incomplete, trying in vain to fulfill the mind's foolish fantasies &
draconian demands.

Descartes will only accept one specific kind of ideas: which and why? He will only accept clear and distinct ideas that are indubitable. Because the complex ideas could then be constructed using the simple ideas. 6. How does Descartes call his method and why is it not skeptical? Methodic doubt. Because the goal of this doubt is not to be skeptical but to prove that some things can not be doubted. 7. “I think, therefore I am”. What does this phras

Philosophy Aristotle - four causes or better "becauses" because they are the 4 ways in which we use the word "because" or answer the question "why?" 1. Material cause: - what it is made of - why is the bridge strong? because made of steel 2. Formal cause: - what form, definition or property it has - why is this salt? because made of sodium and chloride 3. Efficient cause: - what initiated the change or movement - why did the baseball move? because someone hit it 4. Final cause: - what end or goal does it have? - why does he walk? because he wants to be healthy - also nature operates in terms of final causes - things don't happen spontaneously, every action that nature takes is for the sake of something, everything has a purpose - where a series has a completion, all th
