It should be fairly obvious that the trash from these places often ends up in waterways and can cause pollution. Plastics are an especially big issue when it comes to water contamination at beaches and waterways. Pick Up Litter Picking up litter wherever you find it is honestly the best, fastest way to do your part to stop this type of water pollution. While it may not sound very extravagant, the simple act of not passing by this pollution is a pretty powerful one. Organize Cleaning Parties Organize cleaning parties with local people to make the reach larger. Get businesses involved as sponsors who will donate prizes to the person who collects the most trash if you're having a hard time finding people to sign up to help. Once you get the ball rolling, you might be surprised at just how many people are willing to step up to help you clean up your local waterways. You Can Make a Difference
Dear Mrs. Antia Luik January 23th We had a lecture on suicideterrorism and motives for suicide. It was a very instructive lecture, because I got a lot of new information about terrorism. Such information, which I did not yet know or have heard. I can use that information in our bibliographical and if lucky, the English language examination. Such lectures could be more, because terrorism is a situation which can be found in almost every country. Still the subject of terrorism, I would like to know more. I would like to know more precisely how to deal with situations if someone wants to commit suicide and kill others or have any advice on how to stay calm and help others. Or, how could help, who wants to organize a suicide. Your sincerely Karel Varik

Also, there are many necessary facilities that can be used in various situations, such as having an art exhibition, where all the students can show their greatest masterpieces. To sum up, it is believed that the art studio is extremely important to many young artists. Therefore we are ready to put our foot down and do not hesitate to organize a protest march against closing the studio. changed a lot lately- has become not so attractive like it used to be and income has decreased because of that. Firstly, it would be a good idea to make some flayers about the shop’s planned changes. 3) Shop’s apperance Secondly, I think it would be useful to refresh shop’s appearance. Paint it all over again and redecorate the interior. Customers would like that and it will invite new people to the shop. 4) Increasing the shop’s income Finally, we could organize market days, when the prices are low and there are a lot of different goods. This is the way, how to get people to the shop and it will increase the income and profit. 5) Conclusion To sum up, I belive that if we include some of the suggestions above, we will be able to make the shop more profitable.
Indian summer festival Indian Summer Festival is the brainchild of Butch Roberts, a Milwaukee Police Officer. In 1985, his dream was to have an American Indian Festival to add to the other ethnic festivals that were being held on the Summerfest grounds, Henry Maier Festival Park. Roberts recruited the Warren and DeNomie families to organize the event. These three families were instrumental in getting Indian Summer off the ground. It took two years of planning and organizational assistance from Irish Fest to kick off Indian Summer's first festival in 1987. The festival received a $5,000.00 grant from The Milwaukee Foundation and a cash loan from the Klumb family to provide funding for the first event. The first festival was a huge success. Over the last 24 years, Indian Summer Festival has maintained a strong position as one of

dump it without realizing that it could be dangerous for the environment. As a solution, the government can increase regulations on the disposal of hazardous waste. It can create modern landfills that are using modern technologies. Those landfills could break down chemical compounds into less dangerous forms. Civilians can choose not to buy those products which require the production of hazardous waste. They can choose products with biodegradable packages. They can organize collective actions for cleaning the waste from the nature. Hazardous waste is a big problem to humans and nature. We have to pay more attention to this problem, because waste poisons the earth and consequently our food too.
Tourism a threat to the environment? Tourism defently has affects to our environment. Size of effect depends on the population of the area visits, but it is not only thing that affects the nature. Tourism affects our environment positively and negatively. For example of positive effect would be that, people who organize hikes take care of pathways and camping places. If they had not built the camp sites for tourists there would be overgrown forest. So may say that thanks to the good and decents businesses are our surroundings clean and pleasant to everyone who like to spend some time and relax in wild. Tourism has a negative impact to environment if a large number of events are organized in a inappropriate sites. Usually people throw garbage and empty packages down when they stay overnight or just party

better. Other Schools in the Area In my opinion, other schools in the area should also be noted because it shows the good location of this school. Having other good and wealthy schools in the area, gives us the possibility to show us from the same side. School Activities In addition to these, we should mention the different activities that we have in our school. We should mention activities such as Playbox- a very successful dancing competition that we organize every year, Photocontest- a contest where it is possible for students use their creativity and express their feelings and thoughts through photographs, and all the other activities and projects that our school takes part in. We could also mention the SmartBoards that help teachers to make their lessons more interesting and where it is even possible to watch necessary movies referring to the subject. Conclusion
Linda Lingle once said: „We have come dangerously close to accepting the homeless situation as a problem that we just can't solve.“ But i think it is not true because nowadays more and more people are trying to help homeless people. There are shelters for homeless people where they can sleep, get hot food and wash themselves. But there are more places where homeless people can go, like some associations who deal with homeless people, churches, who offer clothes and organize events for them like christmas and also soup kitchens. In conclusion i would like to say that every people are equal in this world and we should all help those who are in need no matter what. If we all try just a little bit trying to make the world a better place to live in for everyone, we can achive it. „Change your thoughts and you change your world.“ - Norman Vincent Peale

In my spear time I will write my travelling stories.
In 1983, Jobs lured John Sculley away from PepsiCola to serve as Apple's CEO, asking, "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?,, The Apple board of directors instructed Sculley to "contain" Jobs and limit his ability to launch expensive forays into untested products. Sculley learned that Jobs--believing Sculley to be "bad for Apple" and the wrong person to lead the company--had been attempting to organize a boardroom coup, and on May 24, 1985, he called a board meeting to resolve the matter. Apple's board of directors sided with Sculley and removed Jobs from his managerial duties as head of the Macintosh division. Jobs resigned from Apple five months later and founded NeXT Inc. the same year. In a speech Jobs gave at Stanford University in 2005, he said being fired from Apple was the best thing that could have

and must use Chinese daily. While the language environment in Estonia is lacking in the possibilities for students to learn Chinese, universities could encourage the learning and increase the motivation of students by organising more events and activities where the students have a possibility to use the language. The language teachers have also more responsibilities in China than in Estonia. In China they are required to organize various activities such as language practice lessons during weekends which are optional for students. The consulting hours when the lecturers are required to be in their office are also usually longer than in Estonia. In conclusion, there are many differences between teaching Chinese in China and in Estonia, teaching being easier in China because of the higher level of motivation the students
We use our computers daily. After a long day in school, we usually turn on our computers and use them for learning and studies. Computers provide a big variety of information which is available for us to search. And all the information is gathered in Internet. Internet is everyone's door to the world and to the vast knowledge of everything. Computers have significant advantages over people in a few select areas. They can store huge amounts of information that they will never forget, they can organize and retrieve that information very quickly, and they can do very complex calculations very quickly. The newest generation of computer applications for learning uses these computer advantages to help students do much more complex problems than they otherwise could. Researchers have noticed that computers improve our critical thinking skills, student collaboration, performing real-life tasks and performing complex tasks. And furthermore,

British settlers and took along their own cultural elements. People say that in New Zealand there are more bagpipe ensembles than in Scotland. Thanks to permanent immigration from England and the fact that many young new-zealanders spend time in England for getting "over-sea experiences", the cultural connection between New Zealand and England won't get lost. Also the traditional English language stays preserved. Every year local people organize the Pacific Islands-themed festival Pasifika. It's held in Western Springs (a park in the west of the city), Auckland. Conclusion In conclusin I might say that New Zealand seems to be a paradise for me. The cities are modern, but people have taken care of nature too. I really would like to go there someday, because I'm a huge fan of green nature. Too bad is the fact that travelling to New Zealand is very expensive. References http://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uus-Meremaa#Geograafia

general of Napoleon's army, had his young protégé sent as an adjunct military commissary to the German city of Brunswick. This was the beginning of an administrative career in the French army that allowed Henri Beyle to discover parts of Germany and Austria. His army appointment gave him a direct experience of the Napoleonic regime and of Europe at war. He watched Moscow go up in flames, took part in the French forces' retreat from Russia, and helped organize the military defence of the province of Dauphiné back in France. In 1814, when the French empire fell, he decided to settle in Italy. But the more authentic Stendhal is to be found elsewhere, and above all in a cluster of favourite ideas: the hostility to the concept of "ideal beauty," the notion of modernity, and the exaltation of energy, passion, and spontaneity. If you have a booming voice, you may wish to moderate it when conducting business with Estonians. Estonians do not always respond to what has been said, especially if they are uncomfortable with the subject or if they need more time to organize their thoughts. Although they are direct communicators, Estonians temper their directness in order to protect the feelings of all concerned. They are slow to pay compliments and may become suspicious of compliments offered too readily and without sufficient reason. Passive silence is very much part of the communication style. Even though it was the extreme dissatisfaction with the thoughtlessness of designs that prompted Norman to act, he approached it from a constructive perspective, doing thorough research on what exactly was wrong with those irritating designs, how it could be improved and how to organize the findings, which systems of concepts and models they would constitute. Norman himself states that he makes it a rule never to criticize something unless he can offer a solution (p.??). Norman concentrates on person's perception of an object, on nature of human perception of the world in general, on how people approach tasks that designed objects are meant to aid with and poses as an advocate of a user-centered design approach. Relationships & Communication Finns are transactional and do not need long-standing personal relationships in order to conduct business. The basic business style is formal - i.e. there is relatively little small talk and Finns prefer people to speak succinctly and to focus purely on business. Finns do not require face-to- face contact and, in fact, are quite comfortable using e- mail. Finns are excellent time managers who prefer to organize their workday in order to accomplish as much as possible. Finns are interested in long- term relationships. Relationship building often takes place outside the office: in a restaurant or the sauna. Never turn down an invitation to use the sauna, as it is an entrenched part of the Finnish culture. Finns place a great value on speaking plainly and openly. What someone says is accepted at face value and this is a culture where "a man's word

long as it's not very overdone. The main point is to connect your changes to your current plans. Types of essays: You can write three types of essays. You should judge by the clues given in the application to decide what kind of a logical structure you should use to tie up your points together in a coherent whole. Here are some patterns for prose exposition: Narrative: The advantage of this kind of structure is that it is linear and therefore comparatively easy to organize. A narrative essay progresses from beginning to end and can be broken into small manageable parts. While writing a narrative, make sure that you balance interpretive points with specific facts. Analytic: An analytic essay is an essay that evaluates and answers the question "Why?" In this kind of an essay you may have to use a structure that first gives an overall answer, and then discusses various aspects. Break it into memorable stories and use lots of specific details in this type of essay

The Guidelines are not: a code or set of principles of conduct; a performance standard;or a management system. The Guidelines do not: provide instruction for designing an organisation’s internal data management and reporting systems; or offer methodologies for preparing reports, or for performing monitoring and verification of such reports. 3. GRI SUSTAINABILITY REPORT The GRI Guidelines organize “sustainability reporting” in terms of economic, environmental, and social performance. This structure has been chosen because it reflects is currently the most widely accepted approach to defining sustainability. GRI recognizes that, like any simplification of a complex challenge, this definition has its limitations. Achieving sustainability requires balancing the complex relationships between current economic, 7
experiments in electrical cultivation, for which the RHS would be "put to no expense whatsoever". 7 But it not seems so easy for everybody, Piggott Bros, the Society's tent contractors, were clearly horrified by the timetable. It would be impossible to put up the tents in 14 days; they needed 28. Considering that Chelsea Flower Show now takes at least 18 months to organize, the RHS was running a tight schedule if it was to be ready in time. At the end of April, a Press luncheon was arranged for Monday, 19 May (a tradition that continues to this day). With only a fortnight to go until the Show opened, the committee agreed that bath chairs should be allowed in, from 9am to 12 noon on the second day, for five shilling extra. Finally Chelsea successfully opened on Tuesday 20 May 1913, for three days.
Businesses use accounting books such as journals and ledgers to record financial data in a practice called bookkeeping. Other types There are several other types of books which are not commonly found under this system. Albums are books for holding a group of items belonging to a particular theme, such as a set of photographs, card collections, and memorabilia. One common example is stamp albums, which are used by many hobbyists to protect and organize their collections of postage stamps. Such albums are often made using removable plastic pages held inside in a ringed binder or other similar smolder. Hymnals are books with collections of musical hymns that can typically be found in churches. Prayerbooks or missals are books that contain written prayers and are commonly carried by monks, nuns, and other devoted followers or clergy. men and women of character and accomplishment. They strive, at an unconscious level, to behave and to live up to their ideals of how an excellent person would behave. One of the most important decisions you make as you go through life is to decide for yourself the specific people whose re- spect is of the greatest value to you. Once you are clear about who you respect and why you respect them, you can then organize your life in such a way that you continually earn that respect, whether they know of your actions or not. ■ SET HIGH STANDARDS In the famous book In His Steps, by Charles M. Sheldon (Christian Library, 1984), an entire town agrees, prior to every act or decision, to ask the question, “What would Jesus do?” and then to behave ac- cordingly. The eventual outcome for the townspeople was that the
