Leisure activities
Everyone have some kind of hobby , what he/she really loves to do. Someone likes to play ball, someone likes to dance , someone enjoy reading. For every people it is different , but persons always find that activity what he/she wants and loves to do. Nobody don't like just sitting or sleeping all days , it is turns boring.
This report is based on the questions answers what I asked some of my classmates and friends about their leisure activities.
What is the most popular leisure activity among your friends? Why?
The most popular leisure activity is dancing, playing football or basketball and roller skating is everyones favourite . Also likes singing , athletics, photography, art and acting . Roller skating likes everyone because it's good to be outside after school, it is good for your health and brain , when you are going home after skating then you feel that your brain is ready for studying . Dancing is popular because everyone likes to move graceful and it keeps your body slender. Football and basketball is famous among boys, but some girls likes to play ball to. Playing basketball or football predominantly manly activity.
What are the most common hobbies ?
The most common hobbies is folk dancing playing football or basketball. Kids usually collect sticks, on the old times when our parents are children then kind collect stamps, but nowadays it is not popular. Someone collect different pictures of cars.
Have you changed hobbies recently?
The persons whom I asked didn't changed his/her bobbies recently, because people who were in my age are already know what they really likes to do. In younger age people are changed their hobbies, because they want to do that what they really like, and searching it is takeing some time.
Is it expensive to have a hobby? Explain.
It depends what kind of hobby you like to do. When you like for example folk dancing then it is not expensive, because dancers didn't have to buy those clothes. But when your hobby is dancing the ballroom dance, then it costs very much, the dresses what people wear when they are dancing pays very much, of course you can lend those dresses but it also pays much. The person who answered to me their hobbies didn't costs much, only their hobbies who loved to riding a horse . Horses costs so much and keeping them is cost the other same what the horse costs.
What unusual hobbies have you heard of?
Most popular unusual hobby what people have heard of is collecting cars or different bugs . Someone think that parachute jump is very unusual and dangerous .
Have you heard of a hobby that led to some invention or discovery ?
People have heard about collecting very old cars and some parts of the old things what people have find somewhere at the seaside or in forests.
Name some leisure activities where you don't have to pay.
The most popular answer is doing some kind of sport , like running , walking. You didn't have to pay when you collect those things what you can find in forests, feels, seasides...In summers swimming is also free for everyone.
What is the most expensive leisure activity you know?Why?
The most popular answer is horse riding, ballroom dancing, traveling and collecting different cars. Horse riding is expensive because horses costs very much and keeping them is expensive to. Ballroom dancing is expensive because the dresses are very valuable. Cars are also very expensive, this is the most expensive hobby. Traveling is also very expensive, because when you want to go somewhere where is always good weather then you have to pay very much.
What leisure activities would you like to take up?Why?
I like to take up ballroom dancing, because it is very beautiful and useful to dance different dance stiles and I want to wear those excellent dresses. For most people wanted to take part at mountaineering, but in Hiiumaa it is not possible because we didn't have the trainer and place where you can climb . Break dancing is also very popular what people wanted to take part but tis is also not possible because in Hiiumaa we didn't have trainer.
Can some leisure activities be dangerous? Name them.
Mots popular answer is parachute jump. Also is named figure skating, mountaineering, car driving , doing some kind of sports and you could damage your leg of hand and then you could never do that sport again what you really like.
Why do people have hobbies?Why do they do sports?
People have hobbies because they want to do something what they like and interests them. Nobody didn't want to do nothing and just sit and dreaming. People do sports because they want to move their self somehow and they do it because they like very much to develop themselves.
Does your hometown have enough leisure facilities for different age groups?What are they?
In my hometown didn't have enough leisure facilities, because we live in a little town and our town didn't have enough money to enable everything what peoples wants, and we don't have enough trainers because no one didn't want to do his/her career in so little place, you didn't be able to get much far. In Hiiumaa we can dance, study music, make art(painting,do clay art...), play ball(volleyball, basketball, football), do different sport, aerobic and so on...
What other leisure facilities would you build in your region ?Why?
People wanted to build a dance school, because dancing is very important , also wanted to built the plaice where persons cat do mountaineering, because it is interests people very much.
Do you think that your hobbies and the way we spend our time affect our life?Explain.
Everyone think that the hobby what he/she do is helping him/her in his/her life. Because everyone do what is interesting for his/her, and when people go to job , then he/she do that what is interesting for his/her and what he/she can do quite well. When you get know what you want to do when you are grownup then you started to moving that way. It can not be possible that this activity what you do in leisure time didn't affect your life.
