Disabled Athletes should take up in Sport. Everyone should have the opportunities to learn sport skills and become active for life. But some of them were born with birth defects that resulted in lost limbs or paralysis. There are professional athletes, who inspire me with their strength, spirit and ability to overcome their disabilities. To begin with, they are pushing back the barriers which, until recently, kept the disabled from taking part in sports. They are demonstrating their abilities in an environment where their disabilities don't count. Moreover, disabled athletes are very hardy. Many of them have suffered accidents and illnesses which would be enough to make most of us want to give up.

Homosexuality is illegal in Jamaica, incurring a prison sentence. Many Jamaicans are intersex people, and several mob attacks agains bisexual people have been reported. Attacks on bisexual people are even encouraged in some popular Jamaican dancehall songs that have been called murder music. The country has been called ,,the most homophobic place on earth". Sport Sport has a very important part in Jamaica. The island's athletes tend to perform to a standrad well above what might ordinarily be expected of such a small country. While the most popular local sport is cricket, on the international stage Jamaicans have tended to do particularly well at Track and Field. Since independence Jamaica has consistently produced world class athletes in track and field. In Jamaica involvement in athletics begins at a very young age. Most high schools maintain rigorous athletics programs with their top athletes competing in
school because they want to be someone, someone successful at what they love. It's not just on Mondays that we have school ridiculously late. It's like that basically every day. I calculated and found out that I get home from school average of 16.00. Where should I find time to train? I come home, I'm hungry so I want to eat, then I start studying and basically I finish when it's dinner time and then time for bed. I think Estonians are talented and would be good athletes and on top of the world, but with the curriculum being quite bad, we can't focus on training and because of that, the athletes can't make a name for themselves and put that little Estonian flag behind their names on TV for the fans to see. Instead, we go to school to sit, not to study and then try to train, but because of all the homework and long days, sometimes it's hard to find time for that. So in the end, we don't get the education we were hoping for and neither did we get to

Since 394 A.D. when the Olympic Games were banned by the Roman Emperor for religious reasons and their decline in quality. No Olympics were held for over a thousand years, until the year 1896. The games were revived by a French nobleman named Pierre Frédy, Baron de Coubertin. The first contemporary Olympic Games took place with great glamour in Athens, in the Panathenaic Stadium. During the first games, only 13 countries participated but now that number has gone up to over two hundred. Athletes from all over the world take part and their achievements are watched from both near and far by hundreds of millions of spectators. The differences between the modern and ancient Olympic Games can be clearly seen. For instance, in ancient times only men were allowed to watch and participate but that has changed now. Also, athletes don't have to perform nude, although the original idea of the games was to honour the human body

Estonia is a quite young country with painful history but I think we've been strong and kept our heads up. We may have a little country but it doesn't mean that the people are small too. The Estonians are more self-confident than you can ever imagine. We have many talented people, especially athletes like Markko Märtin, Marko Asmer, Kaia Kanepi, Andrus Veerpalu and Mart Poom. We are reputed to be quite stubborn, I don't think that's true about our stereotype. I do think that we're too reserved. We're too tense all the time and don't really go with it when somebody is trying to make us laugh. It takes a little time until we warm up and start to communicate

form at all.4 Based on the information Mayo Clinic5 provides, a child who has a tendency for double-jointedness may eventually lose the ability to hyperextend oneself. As a matter of fact, it is not true6 because the people who are unusually flexible, have a condition of hyperlaxity or are able to bend over a normal person’s pliability have better chances to improve their flexibility. Although the more muscle mass one has, the less flexible one is. Athletes have the most limited range of motion for all joints because their muscle mass is constantly growing as well as they skip stretching continuously. The only sports that evolve muscle mass and joint flexibility at the same time are powerlifting, gymnasts, dancing and martial arts. For instance, an American powerlifter Sarah Robles, the „strongest woman in America“ 7 encourages her students to „Lift big and lock out“8 which intensifies the joints’ capability to hyperextend

The extensive reconstruction in 1966-1968 aimed at finding a compromise between the 15th-16th century architecture, the 17th century reconstructions and the needs of a modern museum. breath part. It is also next to the Geneva Lake which is blue and clear. The most beautiful water body I have ever seen. Lausanne has one of the most amazing churches in the world as it is one of the only ones that still has original figures from the Middle Ages. The church is made of sandstone and therefore it is falling apart. The figurines also have their original colours, which is rare. Lausanne is also the home for the Olympic Museum where there are statues of victorious athletes. I saw quite a few of familiar 2 Kirjapraktika Portfoolio 2013 faces. Lausanne is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. I would go back there in a heartbeat and I would recommend seeing it for yourself as it will amaze anyone who took the time to enjoy it. It will definitely take your breath away. c) a person

Frederick Carlton Lewis. He was born on 1st July 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama, the same country of Jesse Owens for the will of doom: in fact his parents lived there fleetingly owing to their job. Third of five sons, he spent his childhood in Willingboro together with his younger sister Carol, Bill, his dad and Evelyn, his mother. Since his first years of life he could breath the soft and clean air of sport: his father used to train athletes at university and his mother was 6th at 80 m hurdles in the Pan-American games of 1951.He saw the Olympic games of 1968 on TV and could admire Bob Beamon: he was so impressed that after the jump of 8,90 m he went out with a friend to take the length of a limousine in order to realize how far Bob flied! But for the moment Carl was really thin, so thin that the doctor suggested to make him do sports. His education, beyond studies, embraced a lot of fields
· Eat more omega-3 fatty acids. We won't be covering any of this. Not because it doesn't work--it does ... up to a point. But it's not the type of advice that will make friends greet you with "What the #$%& have you been doing?!", whether in the dressing room or on the playing field. That requires an altogether different approach. The Unintentional Dark Horse Let's be clear: I'm neither a doctor nor a PhD. I am a meticulous data cruncher with access to many of the world's best athletes and scientists. This puts me in a rather unusual position. I'm able to pull from disciplines and subcultures that rarely touch one another, and I'm able to test hypotheses using the kind of self-experimentation mainstream practitioners can't condone (though their help behind the scenes is critical). By challenging basic assumptions, it's possible to stumble upon simple and unusual solutions to long-standing problems. Overfat? Try timed protein and pre-meal lemon juice. Undermuscled
