Phosphate Binders: Your Questions Answered What's the deal with phosphate in kidney disease anyway? Phosphate and calcium are both minerals that are essential in maintaining a healthy body. Together, they help build strong, healthy bones and teeth, and also play a role in regular cell and nerve function. Through a delicate process called homeostasis, the body keeps both phosphate and calcium at healthy levels. Both the kidneys and the parathyroid glands play vital roles. First, the kidneys, which activate vitamin D, control the amount of phosphate that is absorbed and excreted from the foods you eat. Second, a hormone called parathyroid hormone (PTH) regulates phosphate by increasing or decreasing the blood's phosphate concentration. A normal blood phosphate level in adults is 3-4.5 mg/dL and a normal PTH is 10-55 pg/mL. However, in kidney disease and kidney failure, the body is not able to keep the levels of phosphate at healthy level...

Day in my life I was waking up when i heard knocking at my door. I went to the door and postman was standing there. She was holding a package. Finally my package has been delivered. I greeted him and went looking for my ID card. I ran back to the postman. She was writing down my info while my little brother was trying to talk with me. He was yelling: ,,What is this?" I answered him: ,,It's a package, obviously." My brother started laughing and ran away. Postman asked for a signature and suddenly my phone started ringing. I gave her the signature and crabed the package. I ran downstairs but the caller hanged up already. I started calling back but the phone was busy. Suddenly I heard ringing again. I ran upstairs to pick up the phone but my sister was already speaking with the caller, so I went back downstairs

Seven days It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. I was still sleepy when I answered with a furious tone: ,,What is it? Do you even know what freaking time is it? It's 3 in the morning. Why aren't you sleeping?" Suddenly I heard a voice that told me: ,,Seven days!" and after that just beep beep beep. At first I thought it's just some stupid joke but I got frightened and I couldn't even get any sleep. I creeped downstairs looking after my shoulder from time to time because I had this feeling someone was watching me

For many people, money is the most important thing in the world What is the meaning of life? What is happiness? Surely everyone has asked these questions from himself and has thought about that. It can not be answered the same, because people have different personalities and value judgements. It looks like for some people happiness depends on that how much money they can earn. Money is for them the most important thing in the world. Somehow money is important for all of us. We need it for everything: to buy food, clothes and other bare necessities. Also we buy other things and services that are less necessity, but we just want to buy them. Money is resource for buying things, is it also a purpose?
RESUME The aim of the research was to find out, what is the attitude of 11 graders from Valga Gymnasium, towards reading material. The questionnaire was answered by 25 students, 17 of them were female and 8 male. Student's age was 17-18 years old. The questionnaire was answered anonymously, in the Internet. From the student answers, we found out that in the 11. grade there is a small amount of people, who never read the summaries of the books. Most of the students fairly read them, but there is still a lot of those, who always read the summary. The questionnaire revealed, that many students think that there is too much reading material,
Formal letter Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing in order to complain about a situation which happened on 26th of September, when I was dining at the Babyback Ribs &Bbq restaurant. To start from the beginning, at first when we entered the restaurant there was no-one to serve us. Then, when we had waited for a long time a young girl came to us and asked us if we had a table booked, we answered that we did not and so we were given the menus and lead to available seatings. When we had decided what to have there was once again no-one to serve us and when the waitress finally showed up she could not answer our questions about the specifics of the menu. Finally we came to a conclusion that I would take the french fries, but without jalapeno, which I especially accentuated. After 15 minutes of more waiting the dishes arrived, but there was still jalapeno in my food

When he speaks, he sounds as if there's something important he's not saying, maybe something even he is not aware of. The ability to write soliloquies and dialogues that create this effect is one of Shakespeare's most impressive achievements. A university student whose studies are interrupted by his father's death, Hamlet is extremely philosophical and contemplative. He is particularly drawn to difficult questions or questions that cannot be answered with any certainty. Faced with evidence that his uncle murdered his father, evidence that any other character in a play would believe, Hamlet becomes obsessed with proving his uncle's guilt before trying to act. The standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" is simply unacceptable to him. He is equally plagued with questions about the afterlife, about the wisdom of suicide, about what happens to bodies after they die--the list is extensive.

Jeanette's church she acted shy and didn't sing along with others. When the pastor urged sinners to raise their hand Melanie pushed hers into the air. Churchgoers prayed for her and Jeanette started going to Melanie's each Monday to read the Bible together and pray. Girls became friends, but soon after felt differently towards each other. `Do you think this is Unnatural Passion?' asked Jeanette once. `Doesn't feel like it. According to Pastor Finch, that's awful.' answered Melanie. The more they spent time together, the stronger their feelings got though neither of them admitted it out loud. However, everything changed after Jeanette told her mother about Melanie. Next time in church the girls were ambushed. `These children of God,' began the pastor, `have fallen under Satan's spell.' When asked, Jeanette admits that she loves Melanie, but Melanie isn't as strong as her lover and she promises to the pastor that she
This day is now celebrated as Victory Day in Estonia. In the summer and fall of 1919 war against Soviet Russia already took place on Russian territory. Only in November when the Red Army had beaten the Russian "Whites", it could once again press the front over to Estonian territory. The fiercest battles of the War of Independence took place in November and December 1919 on the Narva Front. The Soviet Command sent two armies (altogether 160,000 troops) against Estonia and Estonia answered with the maximum she had 85,000 men. By the end of 1919 the strength and morale of the Red Army had collapsed and Moscow agreed with armistice. It began on January 3, 1920 that is now celebrated as the Memorial Day of the Fallen. On February 2, 1920 the Tartu Peace Treaty was signed. Russia declared to give up all claims against Estonia and unconditionally recognized the independence of the Republic of Estonia. The price of victory had been 5,000 Estonian soldiers.

By the mid-1960s, Bluesology was backing touring American soul and R&B musicians like The Isley Brothers, Major Lance, Doris Troy and Patti LaBelle and The Bluebelles. literature, description of the research and its results. The review of literature gives an overview of consumption of alcohol among students in Estonia and the world in general, the nature of alcohol and its harmful effects on people's health. The data was collected with the help of a questionnaire which consisted of ten questions and was put together by the authors of this paper. The sample was 8th and 12th graders studying in Ülenurme Gymnasium in 2011/2012. All 49 questionnaires were answered and returned. The results showed that the number of students consuming alcohol in the 8. and 12. grade is more than the average. More than half of 8th graders have consumed alcohol, 6 students have been drunk and 8 students have tried alcohol in small amounts. The most frequent consumption was once a month. Is it expensive to have a hobby? Explain. It depends what kind of hobby you like to do. When you like for example folk dancing then it is not expensive, because dancers didn't have to buy those clothes. But when your hobby is dancing the ballroom dance, then it costs very much, the dresses what people wear when they are dancing pays very much, of course you can lend those dresses but it also pays much. The person who answered to me their hobbies didn't costs much, only their hobbies who loved to riding a horse. Horses costs so much and keeping them is cost the other same what the horse costs. What unusual hobbies have you heard of? Most popular unusual hobby what people have heard of is collecting cars or different bugs. Someone think that parachute jump is very unusual and dangerous. Have you heard of a hobby that led to some invention or discovery?

She had no idea, where were they going, as well as not her future plans. The man seemed to be an interesting personality maybe it'll be useful to stay around for a while? 5

We have to work harder to find the right ways to pursue our dreams and nothing comes easy to our hands. I really like this situation, because then we are going to enjoy our achievements more in the future and besides, small town habitants are more able to compete, because we have had to create our chances for success ourselves. Thus this stereotype is giving false ideas about the real situation. Occasionally somebody has asked my advice how to succeed in doing something. In this case I have answered that they should do the things, which they really like, because in my opinion it is useless to strain every nerve and waste energy doing something that you really dislike. It also has become clear to me that one of the most important things is not to get upset about trivial things. Often people say to each-other very thoughtless things and with that a lot of relationships are ruined. It is obvious that a person can not be loved by everybody. Nevertheless viciousness isn’t the solution.
But he kept it ready. When I came here as a child, he would always remove the bullets as soon as he walked in the door. I guess he considered me old enough now not to shoot myself by accident, and not depressed enough to shoot myself on purpose. "What's for dinner?" he asked warily. My mother was an imaginative cook, and her experiments weren't always edible. I was surprised, and sad, that he seemed to remember that far back. "Steak and potatoes," I answered, and he looked relieved. He seemed to feel awkward standing in the kitchen doing nothing; he lumbered into the living room to watch TV while I worked. We were both more comfortable that way. I made a salad while the steaks cooked, and set the table. I called him in when dinner was ready, and he sniffed appreciatively as he walked into the room. "Smells good, Bell." "Thanks." We ate in silence for a few minutes. It wasn't uncomfortable. Neither of us was bothered by the quiet. In

Stormy, husky, brawling, City of the Big Shoulders: They tell me you are wicked and I believe them, for I have seen your painted women under the gas lamps luring the farm boys. And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: Yes, it is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to kill again. And they tell me you are brutal and my reply is: On the faces of women and children I have seen the marks of wanton hunger. And having answered so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer and say to them: Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning. Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job, here is a tall bold slugger set vivid against the little soft cities; Fierce as a dog with tongue lapping for action, cunning as a savage pitted against the wilderness, Bareheaded,
During the work a questionnaire was carried out among students aged thirteen to fifteen in order to support the hypothesis that there are no differences in reading body language between boys and girls. The results appeared to be surprising, as they showed that boys are better readers of body language than girls, thus, there were no big distinctions describing emotions. Taking everything into account one can say that 72 per cent of boys and 69 per cent of girls answered correctly. What is more, I started to observe people's body language consciously during the research and as a result of that I can understand it better. 18 Allikaloend 1 Allan Pease ,,Kehakeel- Kuidas lugeda mõtteid zestide järgi" 1992: 2 Matthew Mckay Ph.D , Martha Davis Ph.D, Patrick Fanning ,,Suhtlemisoskused-

The maid answered the door and showed in our neighbour, Mr. Thomas Smith. Our families are very friendly. He calls me by my nickname, Bill; though my real name is William. I call him Tom, which is short for Thomas. I: Hallo, Tom. Come in. Glad to see you. TOM: Good evening, Mary. Hallo, Bill. Susan sends her regards. She wants you both to come with us to the pictures. MARY: That's very kind of her. How is she? TOM: She's very well, but she's rather anxious about young Tommy. MARY: What's the matter with him
bad, which only proves the popularity and high priority of English among the questioned. However, all of them have their own ways of learning English, 43% of the respondents claimed they study the English language additionally apart from school. The next four questions concerned the relation of the English language and Estonian reality, in the context of culture, politics and education. So, as it is demonstrated in the figure 2. 53% of the people answered the question admitted that we get under the influence not only of the language but the culture it brings with it, thus changing our own culture and identity. Whether this is bad or not, a difficult question to ask. Figure 2. Acceptance of another culture with the English language 16 Figure 3. Preferred language for higher education.
offer to send her home." "Oh! but the gentlemen will have Mr. Bingley's chaise to go to Meryton, and the Hursts have no horses to theirs." "I had much rather go in the coach." "But, my dear, your father cannot spare the horses, I am sure. They are wanted in the farm, Mr. Bennet, are they not?" "They are wanted in the farm much oftener than I can get them." "But if you have got them to-day," said Elizabeth, "my mother's purpose will be answered." She did at last extort from her father an acknowledgment that the horses were engaged. Jane was therefore obliged to go on horseback, and her mother attended her to the door with many cheerful prognostics of a bad day. Her hopes were answered; Jane had not been gone long before it rained hard. Her sisters were uneasy for her, but her mother was delighted. The rain continued the whole evening without intermission; Jane certainly could not come back. "This was a lucky idea of mine, indeed
11.Religion The Estonians worshipped their own gods and were one of the last European countries to convert to Christianity, some say it may have been as late as the thirteenth century. In the 11th century, the crusaders reached Estonia and it was dedicated to Virgin Mary. The main religion in Estonia is Lutheranism. During an all-European poll in 2005, 16% of Estonians responded that "they believe there is a god", whereas 54% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 26% that "they do not believe there is any sort of spirit, god, or life force". According to the survey, it would have made Estonians the most non- religious people in the then 25-member EU. 12. Economy Estonia is not rich in mineral resources. The main natural resources are: building materials (such as clay, sand, gravel and dolomite), oil shale, phosphorite and peat

In our research we found out how our classmates felt about going to PE and what was their mood before and after the lesson. A hypothesis was formulated that physical activity raises the students’ mood and after PE students feel better but it was not confirmed, it turned out that physical activity does not affect mood and a students energy decreases due to PE and they will not want to go to the next PE lesson. We used a quantitative method and students answered questions to give their opinions by giving answers in a poll. Our motive was to justify the necessity of PE in the study programme. There were no difficulties during doing this work because there were enough sources of learning materials and it was interesting to read them. 25
But hearing the gunshot, they soon gave up on their chase and went back to the house. The next morning the three sat telling the tale of the robbery to the cook and the maid. While this was going on, Oliver woke up alone in the field, with his hurt throbbing. He realized that he had to get help or he would die alone in the field. He wandered to the house they had tried to rob, and knocked on the door. He collapsed, and the men telling the story, along with the women listening answered the door to find him there. They called one of the mistresses of the house and she decided to take care of him, after speaking with her aunt. Chapter 29: Giles, dressed in his butler attire, was serving breakfast to the two ladies of the house. The elder, Mrs. Maylie was the aunt of the beautiful young girl, Rose. He tells them a bit about shooting Oliver, for which he was praised, but waits to tell the whole tale until after Dr. Losberne could attend.

innocent playing and addiction. Gambling gets out of control easily. To collect the necessary data, a questionnaire was conducted among pupils of the 10 th and 12th grade from Kuristiku Gymnasium. Students had to give an answer to 7 questions. Those questions were about online-gambling, frequency of gambling, their biggest financial losses and winnings, reasons of gambling, and on which gambling games do they play. I found out that almost all of these young people, who answered to my questionnaire, have played gambling games. Most of these young people gamble only once a year or less often. Gambling is more popular among male respondents. Also, their reason for playing was mostly because they like to take risks. KASUTATUD ALLIKAD 1. Blaszczynski, A. 2007. Võit hasartmängusõltuvuse üle.
