THE CANONIZATION

hero in this poem wasn't that good looking. He had gray hairs and he had palsy. But even so, he had an appreciation for the arts and religion made him a very sensitive and caring man. He really belived, that this love is a right thing for their both. He belived that they two beign one. There are one neutral thing they die and rise the same. They are so in love. But other people don't like their love mystery. They told others to not criticize them for their love. They continue and stating that their love has never hurt anyone or anything and told the other peoples that they don't care however they feel about it because their love will never destroyed. They had a love full of mysterious. In the end, their love will be a legend for everybody. Every love story is beautiful, so ,,The Canonization" is too. This is a real love, when people trust that their love never destroyed. This is wonderful that their love became a legend.

Dover Beach

"Dover Beach" by Matthew Arnolds "Dover Beach" describes how the author falls deep into thought when admiring the sea with his lover and comes to a sad conclusion. In the first stanza, he describes the beauty of the sea as he is watching out the window. He says that he can see the light gleam and then disappear upon the French coast, wich suggests that the sun is setting, making the scene all the more spectacular. He emphasises the calm impression the glimmering sea and the mighty cliffs in the distance give and seems to be touched by all this, his heart filled with what might be nostalgia, thoughtfullness or just pure understanding of how simple life really is. Wanting to share the moment with his lover, he asks her to join him by the window and draws attention to the never-ending sound of the waves clashing against the shore and moving pebbles. Alas, this sound seems to bring forward a sudden realization of things in the author and...

Martin's 15yearold son Thomas was killed while trying to free Gabriel as he was taken prisoner. Enraged Martin set about to free his son Gabriel, with the help of his two younger sons Nathan and Samuel slaughtered, in brutal fashion, the British troops who held Gabriel. Gabriel rejoined the cause against his father's will again, stating it was his duty as a soldier so Benjamin also decided to join, leaving the rest of the children in the care of their aunt Charlotte, the sister of Martin's deceased wife. They knew that the Colonials couldn't defeat the British and so with the help of Col. Harry Burwell Benjamin organized a militia to keep the British in the south until French Navy arrived to assist. To combat the militia Tavington had to pursue more brutal tactics to draw Martin out. So he tracked Martin's family to

Milking machine

Milking  machine Merlin-Hans Hiiekivi Regards about inventing a  milking machine • Development of a usable milking machine took several decades of trial and error. • Some editors of 19th century dairy and ag publications acknowledged a need for a good milking machine, but, were dissatisfied with all that were being offered. Others discouraged all attempts at machine milking, stating that it was unnatural or intrinsically injurious to the cow. . Early Cow Milking Machines • The earliest devices for mechanical milking were tubes inserted in the teats to force open the sphincter muscle, thus allowing the milk to flow. • Skillfully made tubes of pure silver, gutta percha, ivory, and bone were marketed in the mid-19th century, and, in fact, a few were still being sold well into the 20th century. • A novel milking tube illustrated in the Scientific

Martin Luther King uses the valleys, hills, mountains and rough places to symbolically represent racial inequalities and hardships across the land that must be corrected. The distance between the low and high points represents the equality gap that he wishes to reduce. He conveys this by stating they "shall be exalted", "made low" and "made straight”. By using these words to create imagery he adds further depth and meaning to this passage. Another literary device present in this speech would be parallelism as seen in the following sentence: ‘’With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day’’. The repetition of the word

Othello opens in the stately city of Venice

Othello describes the invitations he often received from Brabantio to visit his home and share the stories of adventure and fortune in battle. Desdemona merely overheard his incredible stories and requests a private recount of the stories again, a scenario that causes her to fall in love with Othello. The Duke agrees with Othello’s assessment, that his stories would win the heart of any woman, and decides that Brabantio’s claims are unlikely. Desdemona arrives and confirms the decision by stating that she married of her own free will and for love, and that her loyalties have shifted from her father to her husband. Returning to the military matter on which the scene opened, the Duke tells Othello that his presence is required in Cyprus to defend against the Turks. Desdemona decides she will go with him and they leave to prepare for their journey. After the clearing of the stage, Iago and Roderigo once again discuss Roderigo’s failed attempts to woo Desdemona

England. The leading pretender was Harold Godwinson, Harold and Edward became brothers-in-law when the king married Harold's sister. Harold's powerful position, his relationship to Edward and his esteem among his peers made him a logical successor to the throne. William, Duke of Normandy, also laid claim to the English throne. William justified his claim through his blood relationship with Edward as they were distant cousins and by stating that some years earlier, Edward had designated him as his successor. The third rival for the throne was Harald Hardrada, King of Norway. Hardrada ruled Norway jointly with his nephew Mangus until 1047 when Mangus conveniently died. Earlier (1042), Mangus had cut a deal with Harthacut the Danish ruler of England. Since neither ruler had a male heir, both promised their kingdom to the other in the event of his death. Nevertheless, because Muslims view Islam as compatible with science, and the high prestige accorded to scientists in the Islamic world, research scientists can spread scientific ideas to Muslims. In his book titled God Is Not Great, which criticizes all religions, Christopher Hitchens expresses his opinion by stating that Islam is "dogmatic," and "the fact remains that Islam's core claim to be unimprovable and final is at once absurd." Such claims have been challenged by many Muslim scholars and writers including Fazlur Rahman Malik, Syed Ameer Ali, Ahmed Deedat and Yusuf Estes. Law-makers breaking the law: torture as a justified interrogation technique?

The right to remain silent and the right of representation also find their grounds in the prohibition of self-incrimination. These rights are at the base of a fair trial. A fair trial can be seen as an objective establishment of truth. Doing this by means of forcing confessions cannot be seen as objectively valid and can thus not be considered as evidence in a fair trial. How much importance utilitarians would see in this is disputable, as by stating that torture is acceptable in certain circumstances, they also could argue an unfair trial is acceptable in certain circumstances. Regardless, if one wishes to publicly trial a person after they have been tortured, in the eyes of the general public the laws will have to be adhered to and thus grounded evidence must have been obtained by then in order to be able to present it. Failing to do so and deciding to take action behind closed doors would then just be an extension of

For example, some disputes or alleged disputes are merely verbal or "only semantic," unlike substantive disagreements over fact. X and Y do not disagree about what actually hap- pened; they dispute only over whether what happened counts as a "so-and-so." Onlookers say, "Oh, they're just talking past each other." (That happens a lot in philosophy.) In stating the foregoing meaning facts, I have at least half-heartedly tried to avoid "reification" of things called meanings; that is, talking about "mean- ings" as if they were individual things like shoes or socks. I have talked of sentences having such features as being meaningful, being synonymous, being ambiguous, though I did eventually slip into alluding to "meanings." I could have reified throughout, and said "has a meaning" instead of "is meaningful,"

A second longhaired German cat is the German Angora bred from semi-longhair housecats and originally bred by Mrs Aschemeier who retired from breeding in 2010 (Aschemeier always referred to her cats as German Longhair, not as Angoras, stating "Being experienced in keeping studbooks for hunting dogs from now on I kept records on the progeny of my German Longhairs, so I could provide them with pedigrees at any time"). The German Angora, bred since 2000 (breed club founded 2005), is not recognised by any cat association and is trademarked instead. thither also went Mr. Wickham, undoubtedly by design; for there proved to have been a prior acquaintance between him and Mrs. Younge, in whose character we were most unhappily deceived; and by her connivance and aid, he so far recommended himself to Georgiana, whose affectionate heart retained a strong impression of his kindness to her as a child, that she was persuaded to believe herself in love, and to consent to an elopement. She was then but fifteen, which must be her excuse; and after stating her imprudence, I am happy to add, that I owed the knowledge of it to herself. I joined them unexpectedly a day or two before the intended elopement, and then Georgiana, unable to support the idea of grieving and offending a brother whom she almost looked up to as a father, acknowledged the whole to me. You may imagine what I felt and how I acted. Regard for my sister's credit and feelings prevented any public exposure; but I wrote to Mr. Wickham, who left the place immediately, and Mrs

States, and he was speaking of the remarkable assistance rendered to the Katrina-racked American Gulf Coast by the Netherlands. But, with that matter resolved, an equally puzzling question arises: Why the Netherlands? Other countries had offered aid in the aftermath of the storm. But none had come close to matching the immediate and ongoing commitment of the Dutch to the region. Indeed, Mr. Kroner went on to assure the flood victims that his government would be with them for the long term, stating that "everything we can do and everything Louisiana wants us to do, we are ready to do." Mr. Kroner also suggested one telling reason for this extraordinary willingness to help: The Netherlands owed it to New Orleans-for more than half a century. On January 31, 1953 an unrelenting gale pushed fierce North Sea waters across a quarter-million acres of his country, leveling dikes, levees, and thousands of homes while killing 2,000 residents

In Christian dogmatics that means adding to Trinity fourth element- the Devil to make the dogma ,,complete". Jung`s system of concepts is coherent and united world of thought. He makes every effort to keep world of psychology and world of theology separate. Regardless of that, in his works those are subtly connected in many ways. Stating generally- Jung looks at theology through the eyes of his analytical psychology. According to his doctrine human psyhe is very dynamic and complex system consisting of many interactive particles. Jung sees as a main source of his theology numinous human experiences and dreams. Same importance he assumes to the general human mythological inheritance- different religions, myths and fairy- tales. According to those Jung formulates his theology and tries only

It doesn't completely satiate the hunger -- or rather thirst. But it keens us strong enough to resist. Most of the time." His tone turned ominous. "Sometimes it's more difficult than others." "Is it very difficult for you now?" I asked. He sighed. "Yes." "But you're not hungry now," I said confidently -- stating, not asking. "Why do you think that?" "Your eyes. I told you I had a theory. I've noticed that people -- men in particular -- are crabbier when they're hungry." He chuckled. "You are observant, aren't you?" I didn't answer; I just listened to the sound of his laugh, committing it to memory. "Were you hunting this weekend, with Emmett?" I asked when it was quiet again. "Yes." He paused for a second, as if deciding whether or not to say something. "I didn't want to leave, but it was necessary
