race. Below is an example of a very simple supply chain for a single product, where raw material is procured from vendors, transformed into finished goods in a single step, and then transported to distribution centers, and ultimately, customers. Realistic supply chains have multiple end products with shared components, facilities and capacities. The flow of materials is not always along an arborescent network, various modes of transportation may be considered, and the bill of materials for the end items may be both deep and large. 1 To simplify the concept, supply chain management can be defined as a loop: it starts with the customer and ends with the customer. All materials, finished products, information, and even all transactions flow through the loop. However, supply chain management can be a very difficult task because

Google Analytics is a good example of how advertisers could track advertising keywords were most likely to yield sale. 2. What were the reasons for being a last-mover and what were the advantages? While it's true that Microsoft and Google eventually came to dominate their industries, it wasn't necessarily because they were last. Of course, there were operating system companies and search engines that followed for example. Instead, Microsoft and Google's market power, their ability to keep their advantage in the market over time by anticipating discontinuities has enabled them to remain top dog -- at least for now. 3. •Polymorphism is the ability of different classes to define properties or methods with the same name. Polymorphism is essential to object-oriented programming because it allows you to call methods with the same names, no matter what type of object is in use at the moment. 2. COMPONENT TECHNOLOGY – THE PROBLEM The Problem •Today, anything and anyone must be net-enabled. •Automated business processes, products, and software systems need to evolve in „e-Time“. •Everything must be changeable, extensible, adaptable. •Quality is an important issue. Architectural consequences of these requirements: •Software should not be designed as monolithic unit but partitioned into composableservices that can be spontaneously connected and orchestrated by business/technical processes (component-based software).

All about High Tech

All about High Tech High tech is technology that is at the cutting edge--the most advanced technology currently available. There is no specific class of technology that is high tech--the definition shifts over time--so products hyped as high tech in the 1960s would now be considered, if not exactly low tech, then at least somewhat obsolete. This fuzzy definition has led to marketing departments describing nearly all new products as high tech. Economy Because the high-tech sector of the economy develops or uses the most advanced technology known, it is often seen as having the most potential for future growth. This perception has led to high investment in high-tech sectors of the economy. High-tech startup enterprises receive a large portion of venture capital. However, if, as has happened in the past, investment exceeds actual potential, then investors can lose all or most of their investment. High tech is often viewed as

most significant trait that sets us, humans, apart from our primate friends. [1] To comprehend the opportunities and threats regarding big data located within the cloud, one must first realize the essence of them. Big data is not only what its name says, but it is also so much more. What is Big data? Big data is a term, which is used to describe a broad spectrum of concepts: from the technological ability to collect, aggregate, and process data, to the cultural shift that is pervasively invading industry and society, both drowning in information overload. [2] Big data can be described by the following properties: - Volume. Organizations collect data from a variety of sources, including business transactions, social media, and information from sensor or machine-to-machine data. In the past, storing it would’ve been a problem – but new technologies (such as Hadoop) have eased the burden. [3]

review the main points of the report. HISTORY The firm Nokia we know today has greatly changed comparing to the time it first started under the name of Nokia. Nokia was established in 1865 as a pulp mill by Knut Fredrik Idestam in the town of Tampere, in south-western Finland. In the beginning of 20th Finnish Rubber Works acquired Nokia Wood Mills and Finnish Cable Works and all these three companies were merged into the Nokia Corporation. This corporation involved in many sectors, producing at one time or another paper products, bicycle and car tires, footwear, personal computers, communications cables, televisions, aluminium, etc. The seeds of the current incarnation of Nokia were planted with the founding of the electronics section in the 1960s. In the 1970s, Nokia became more involved in the telecommunications industry. In 1981 Nokia invented the Nordic Mobile Telephony (NMT), which was the world's very first multinational cellular network

Background to Gaming Giving a definition for `computer game' is problematic, due to the wide range of game types. For example, the ArcadePod site (http://www.arcadePod.com) divides its hundreds of Java games into more than ten categories: 3D games, multiplayer, action, classic, indoor sports, board, outdoor sports, card, mind, casino, educational, and the useful `miscellaneous' catch-all. This makes it difficult to pin down the typical content of a game, and highlights the range of design and programming skills required to create one. Another problem with giving a definition is that game platforms vary enormously, including PCs, dedicated game consoles (e.g. the Sony PlayStation 2), arcade machines, web-based games, hand-held consoles (e.g. the Nintendo Gameboy),

whether a clear pattern was present. A comparison table was created to compare the effects of virtual design and construction of the two projects. Additionally, a schedule is presented to explain the deadline slippage on one of the case studies. The schedule is accompanied with a data exchange diagram to illustrate how collaboration can affect the project deadline. From this analysis, it was discovered that one of the reasons why there has been an increase in the design and construction of buildings with highly complicated geometry is the advent of 3D and BIM tools. The main themes that emerged were: • 3D and BIM increase collaboration between different project participants; • A reduction in construction time is evident only when the building models are openly shared; • Intelligent models help to find clashes and reduce re-work; • Models increase accuracy during fabrication and construction;

access, and still end up with an unresponsive child. Such is life. As for class size, I think kids in quantity learn better, on average, than isolated children. I would like my children to have many friends, not few. This, too, I see as obvious. I'd rather have a house full of mess-making kids, than just one, lonely and uninspired. On the other hand, perhaps a student could learn enormously more from a tutor than in a classroom packed with other students. Again, there must be an ideal ratio, plus age considerations, as well as the nature of the topic being taught, to consider. A pet peeve of mine is how competitive athletics play an excessive role in schools. Schools cannot limit their scope to mere teaching of abstractions, such as algebra and grammar. They also need to instruct about health, including diet and exercise. Yet sports programs take too much money and time, which otherwise could be used in artistic endeavors, or to buy more
