Alessandro Acquisti: Why privacy matters The main point of this video is that any personal information about you on the internet can be sensitive information. Based on his research what showd that if you make a random picture of a university student, the computer identyfies people in these pictures. According to the writer privacy is weak point in today´s lives, because job offeres use the internet to find personal information about their candidates. When I watched this video I thought about my pictures and personal information on the internet and the assertions in this video are, in my opinion, correct.

Nowadays many students decide to continue to higher education which means going to university after high school, in order to improve their prospects in further life. It is my considered opinion that higher education is necessary for a number of reasons. To begin with, people who lack educational degrees are more likely to be limited to basic jobs in service and manufacturing industries since today's job market is competitive and employers may not be interested in hiring candidates who do not have a degree. While employees with higher education have a better opportunity to get jobs with a lot of benefits and greater salaries. What is more, a lot of university courses include practical parts and work experience. Having a previous job experience in the field they have chosen, before they actually enter to the job market, is a huge advantage. Moreover, the more connections students collect during their internships, the more options they will have when they begin job search
network administration and database management. I have learnt about the latest technology in these areas, and I have confidence that I can self-learn continuously to keep up with the rapid development in this field. Other than my studies, I have been earnestly seeking for opportunities to gain understanding of my potential and the world around me. One of these experiences that I treasured was a study tour to Taiwan I made last year, in which I had to compete with 120 candidates to become one of the 40 participants in the tour. We visited the Legislative Council of Taiwan and met the vice president of the Council to understand the issues of their society. We also visited government departments and met the famous economist, Woo Jia Ching. From this tour, I have gained much insight about the Taiwan society. By comparing Taiwan and Hong Kong, I have also come to know more about the place I live in.

Speculation about Shakespeare Authorship Main article: Shakespeare authorship question Around 150 years after Shakespeare's death, doubts began to be expressed about the authorship of the works attributed to him.[172] Proposed alternative candidates include Francis Bacon, Christopher Marlowe, and Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford.[173] Several "group theories" have also been proposed.[174] Only a small minority of academics believe there is reason to question the traditional attribution,[175] but interest in the subject, particularly the Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare authorship, continues into the 21st century. htm l Bush, with allies on both right and left - notably John Dingell (D-Big Three) - is determined to protect the US auto industry from further regulation. After a vicious fight, the administration acceded to a boost in Cafe standards last year. It is now using that boost as an argument that further regulation of the industry - under, say, an economy-wide cap-and-trade system like the one now being discussed by Congress and all three presidential candidates - would be redundant, confusing ... why, a "glorious mess" (Dingell's words, cited by Bush). In reality, automakers would simply have to meet the highest standard applied to them. That's not confusing; they just don't want to do it. What would also be unacceptable, according to Bush, is for "unelected regulators and judges" to force a "one size fits all" set of carbon regulations on the country. The unelected judges in

Mr Warren and Mr Brandies in their essey wrote about gossiping, nowdays we use gossiping to, but in more ,,convenient" ways. If I say ,,convenient" I think all this political campaigns in our news, online or on TV, are full with constant stream of memes, links and rumors about political leaders and candidates, mixt with truth and lies. With those gimmicks they can focus our minds to choose ,,wizely", to choose THEM in the next elections. They also introduced that gossip is becoming a trade, this is no longer talked behind closed doors and resource of the idle but jornalism can make gossip an industry. However, his or her role is largely representative and ceremonial and he or she holds no executive power. The president is elected by the Riigikogu for a five-year term. democracy, USSR a communist dictatorship. The two nations were rivals who feared each other, each ideologically opposed. The war also left Russia in control of large areas of Eastern Europe, and the US led Allies in control of the West (each had atomic weapons) . Arguments also rose about Poland. The USSR wanted Poland to have a communist government while the others wanted a democratic. Finally they agreed on democratic elections but most of the candidates were communist so the communist still got to power. In between the countries which were controlled by the communist and the countries which were on the USA's side an iron curtain was drawn. Military alliances were formed as the West grouped together as NATO and the East as the Warsaw Pact. Many countries were able to fight against the Communist thanks to the USA's Marshal Plan ( European Recovery Programme- ERP). Because it was such a big of success the USA wanted to

The Russian dominant party, United Russia, can be seen as sharing three of the above mentioned features. The party is certainly dominant in the first aspect, as it is holding a majority of seats in Duma and in almost every Russian municipality. And it is because of its leading position in Russian party politics, that United Russia does not have a strong need to negotiate with smaller parties. The fact that great amount of candidates seeking public office either at the federal or regional level have joined the party in order to maximize their electoral potential has also strengthen its strategic bargaining position (White 2011: 659). As a tool for the administration, the party may not have a noteworthy role in policy-making, nor does it yet fill the requirements in terms of chronological dominance, but it can be seen as a force for structuring the public policy agenda. of the state's struggle for independence from Mexico. The "Lone Star" can be found on the Texan state flag and on the Texan state seal. The origin of the state name, Texas, is from the word, "Tejas", which means 'friends' in the Caddo language. Government Texas has a plural executive branch system limiting the power of the governor, which is a weak executive compared to some other states. Except for the Secretary of State, voters elect executive officers independently these candidates are directly answerable to the public not the governor. This election system has led to some executive branches split between parties and reduced the ability of the governor to carry out a program. When Republican President George W. Bush served as Texas's governor, the state had a Democratic lieutenant governor, Bob Bullock. Criminal law Texas has a reputation of very harsh criminal punishment for criminal offenses. In both cases, the claims of the exiled House of Stuart were marginal to other causes of war, but were an important propaganda point in Great Britain itself, as both James II and James Francis Edward were accused of allying with foreigners to force Catholicism on the British people. One of the first traditions that appear in the chapter is ropedancing. Ropedancers are Lilliputians who are seeking employment in the government, for the performance, as a competitive examination, the candidates dance on ropes, or "a slender white thread, extended about two foot, twelve inches from he ground" (73); whomever jumps the highest earns a position in office. The people who currently hold office continue this tradition as well, in order to show that they have not lost their skill. There does not seem to be any desire for modification of this tradition; on the contrary, Gulliver seems to be entertained by the tradition. Swift further illustrates satire of the country vs
This is especially true because water is able to transport pollution from one location to another. For many years, chemicals were dumped into bodies of water without concern. While many countries have now banned such behavior, it continues to go on today. As the world has industrialized and its population has grown, the problem of water pollution has intensified. The simple fact that millions of people live along coastlines and near rivers means that these bodies of water are likely candidates for heavy and destructive pollution. It is hard to know now what our oceans will look like in the future. Just how damaged they will be by pollution is uncertain. Acid rain The term acid rain refers to what scientists call acid deposition. It is caused by airborne acidic pollutants and has highly destructive results. Scientists first discovered acid rain in 1852, when the English chemist Robert Agnus invented the term

Thatcher graduated from Oxford in 1947 with a B.Sc. in Natural Sciences and also gained a MA in 1950. Early Interest in Politics Although Margaret studied chemistry, politics interested her more. Following graduation, Margaret Roberts moved to Colchester and worked as a chemist. She became a member of the Association of Scientific Workers. During this period she joined the local Conservative Association when a friend of hers apprised that they were looking for candidates to strong Labour seats of Dartford. To support herself during the period of elections, she went to work for J. Lyons and Co., where she helped to develop methods for preserving ice cream and was paid 10 000 Krones per year. Margaret won national publicity as the youngest woman candidate in the country. Unlike many Conservatives at that time, she had no difficulties in presenting her speeches as she talked with force and confidence on issues that mattered to the voters.
On January 2, 1960, Kennedy officially declared his intent to run for President of the United States. In the Democratic primary election, he faced challenges from Senator Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota and Senator Wayne Morse of Oregon. Kennedy defeated Humphrey in Wisconsin and West Virginia and Morse in Maryland and Oregon, although Morse's candidacy is often forgotten by historians. He also defeated token opposition (often write-in candidates) in New Hampshire, Indiana, and Nebraska. In West Virginia, Kennedy visited a coal mine and talked to mine workers to win their support; most people in that conservative, mostly Protestant state were deeply suspicious of Kennedy's Roman Catholicism. His victory in West Virginia cemented his credentials as a candidate with broad popular appeal. At the Democratic Convention, he gave the well-known "New Frontier" speech, which represented the changes America and

the police activities and what we can learn from their experience. Because of our neighboring countries had no similar institution, the closest country with whom to compare ourselves with is the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which has a long experience to involve volunteers in internal security. Netherlands have more effective and thorough selection process, which allows them to find the best and most motivated candidates, as a longer preparatory period allows them later to give them more competence and independent activities. Thus, here too, we should think about the fact that we have to make some changes in our assistant police application process, so we can the best and most motivated candidates, who are also more trained and ready to involve in police activity. 28 Kasutatud allikad 1

The exam used to be conducted by eight independent examining boards, most of them connected with the university. This examination could also be taken by candidates at a further education establishment. This exam was called the General Certificate of Education (GCE). Pupils of comprehensive school had taken the examination called the Certificate of Secondary Education either with or instead of the GCE. The main objective, indentifying how works recruitment of executive director and project manager, was accomplished successfully. It was identified, that the main objectives of these two positions are the same: to ensure profit to enterprise, but means how executive director and project manager ensure it is quite different. That is why there are different skills valued in these positions and that is the reason why recruitment is organized differently. For example the most important way to find candidates to executive director position is using references and connections, but the most important way to find candidates to the project manager position is using web recruitment sites.
