Also they pass on the torch to next organizing class by giving them the Art Weeks flag. This year´s theme country was Japan. The school was decorated with symbolic things from Japan. There was a handmade Torii in the lobby. Art Weeks café was in atrium where 11c did very good job. My favourite food was sushi which I believe was made by themselves. There were many activities in which students could participate. I took part in language lesson, origami lesson, animation workshop where I made my own little cartoon. I also went to a lecture in TTU about robots from Japan. At the end of the lecture we built our own robots and made them compete with each other. There were also a lot people who came to talk about life in Japan. This week gave me very good view into Japans life and culture. I think Art Week is a tradition which everyone inside or outside of Tallinn 21. School should value because such events do not take place in any other schools

James Watt James Watt was born in Greenock on January 19 in 1736, the son of a ship's chandler. He worked in his father's shop and he developed an interest in trying to make things "work like clockwork". In his late teens he went to London to learn to be a "mathematical and philosophical instrument maker", and when he returned to Glasgow he got a job making instruments with Glasgow University, who gave him a place where to live and a workshop. In 1763 John Andreson asked him to repair an early steam engine he had bought. This early model, known as a Newcomen engine, was very unefective. The cylinder (where the piston was) had to be heated when steam was admitted, and then cooled again to condense the steam. This wasted a lot of time and fuel. Two years later, while walking through Glasgow Green, Watt hit upon the idea of condensing the steam in a separate place. This

Ivan Petrovich Kulibin (April 21, 1735 - August 11, 1818) was a Russian mechanic and inventor. He was born in Nizhny Novgorod in the family of a trader. From childhood, Kulibin displayed an interest in constructing mechanical tools. Soon, clock mechanisms became a special interest of his. During 1764-1767 he built an egg-shaped clock, containing a complex automatic mechanism. In 1769 Kulibin gifted this clock to Catherine II, who assigned Kulibin to be in charge of the mechanical workshop in the Academy of Sciences of Saint Petersburg. There, Kulibin built a "planetary" pocket-clock, which showed not only the current time, but also the month, day of the week, the season and the current moon phase. Kulibin also designed projects for tower clocks, miniature "clock-in-a-ring" types and others. The first settlements were groups of 3 or 4 family farms. Houses were all made of wood & had sloping thatched roofs. Around the settlement was a fence. In time the settlements became villages. Villages were self-sufficient. In the village there was also a forge where a blacksmith mended tools & weapons. There was also a wheelwright's workshop & mill.
