People have to make a lot of choices throughout their lifetime. One of the biggest choices a person has to make is to choose what they are going to study after high school. Many students decide to acquire vocational education and they have to choose which profession to pursue, whether it be, for example, learning to become a technician or a hairdresser. belief. It would become your reality. If you were raised by parents who did not know how powerful their words and behaviors could be in shaping your personality, they could very easily have used destructive criticism, disapproval, and physical or emotional punishment to discipline or control you. When a child is continually criticized at an early age, he soon con- cludes that there is something wrong with him. He doesn’t under- stand why it is that he is being criticized or punished, but he assumes that his parents know the truth about him, and that he de- serves it. He begins to feel that he is not valuable or lovable. He is not worth very much. He must therefore be worthless. Almost all personality problems in adolescence and adult- hood are rooted in what psychologists refer to as love withheld.

Final task FINISHED

(Pelisaar, Läänemets, 2008) In my opinion main education problems or reason for change in Estonia are compulsory education vs. voluntary education, school governance problems, decline in the popularity of the teaching profession, dropouts from schools, development of rational thinking, integrated active learning vs. passive learning methods, competitiveness- logically in a small country there are less people than in big country. That means- more people, less spots for university grants and that means high competitiveness. In Estonia almost everyone can go to the university, and that’s bad, that’s why we procrastinate, because there is with each year less and less higher standards, less competitiveness within students and that is bad for the future. Because where will the next generation get better workers, better teachers and doctors if the competition in the study fields is almost non-existent. Also,

country. After finishing the basic school, I knew that I would like to continue my studies in that school. The main reason was the fact that in Hugo Treffner Gymnasium it was possible to study social sciences extensively. The contest was hard to get in, but I had set a goal and I managed to fulfill my expectations. This school has given me better conditions to study the subjects which interest me. Still I think it is wrong to say that so called valued schools are essential for a good education. It shouldn’t be forgotten that nine tenths of education is encouragement like a French poet Anatole France has said. I remember clearly that from a very early age, I have been interested in foreign policy. For most of the elderly people it was ridiculous, because what could a young boy know about such a complicated theme. In retrospect I can understand them because even professors of this subject are

neurotransmitter acetylcholine on memory. Rats were trained to go through a maze. Once they were able to do this two different groups of rats were injected with chemicals that either increased or decreased the activity of acetylcholine in the brain. There was also a third group, who were not injected anything. The results showed that the rats with more acetylcholine in their brain were faster in finding the food in the maze and the rats with less acetylcholine were slower and took more wrong turns. The researchers concluded that acetylcholine played an important role in creating a memory of the maze. Major depressive disorder is an affective disorder that is related to low levels of neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain. People with depression are often treated with SSRI-s, that block serotonin reuptake when it is in the synapse, causing it to act for a longer time than normal and increasing the available serotonin that is needed for mood regulation.

morning, when it rains in the afternoon, and when it rains all day long. Sometimes it rains so heavily, that they say «It's raining cats and dogs». Britain is known all over the world for its fogs. Sometimes fogs are so thick that it's impossible to see anything within a few meters. The winter fogs of London are, indeed, awful; they surpass all imagination. In a dense fog all traffic is stopped, no vehicle can move from fear of dreadful accidents. So, we may say that the British climate has three main features: it is mild, humid and very changeable. Vocabulary: to surround -- insular climate -- to determine -- temperate belt -- prevailing winds -- the Gulf Stream -- to flow -- shores -- moderate -- striking difference -- throughout -- fickle -- wet -- to blow -- It's raining cats and dogs -- fog -- awful -- dense -- vehicle.-- dreadful -- English Meals
