Reasons why people work In today's society it is known that people work because they need money to live. As Leonardo da Vinci said " God sells us all things at the price of labour " and unfortunately it tends to be true. However, there are still some of the other reason why people work. As Mothet Teresa said " Work without love is slavery" and fortunately there are many people in world who work because they love what they do. For example artists, musicians and actors do not earn a lot of money, however they can give the world something we need- entertainment. In addition to musicians, actors, and artists there are many other sincere, thoughtful and open-minded people who find time in addition to their daily work to help those who need help giving food to homeless people, helping children who are left without parents and taking care for the animals in the shelter. These people are doing this without ...
Reasons of and solutions to truancy Truancy is bad. It is bad for the Students(and their future), the Parents, the school and the community. Truancy has become a growing problem. There are many reasons why students play truant from school. Firstly, the biggest reason why students do not go to school is probably that they just do not like school. They do not care about going there. School is just a chore for them and they do not see the point in it. If school were made a little more interesting, then maybe there would be a little less truancy. Some truant students are even addicted to the joys of being truant. Some of them are just too tired to go to school or have something better to do
"I am become death, the destroyer of worlds." So said the physicist Robert Oppenheimer, who helped to invent the atomic bomb. The two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 killed around 200,000 Japanese people. No other species has ever wielded such power, and no species could. The technology behind the atomic bomb only exists because of a cooperative hive mind: hundreds of scientists and engineers working together. The same unique intelligence and cooperation also underlies more positive advances, such as modern medicine. But is that all that defines us? In recent years, many traits once believed to be uniquely human, from morality to culture, have been found in the animal kingdom (see part one in this two-part series). So, what exactly makes us special? The list might be smaller than it once was, but there are some traits of ours that no other creature on Earth can match. No animal can get close to the devastatio...
The raw data could be then sold to the highest bidder or it could be organized. By collecting data from multiple sources, you could probably write a multiple pages long description of a person, just by monitoring his devices, which are connected into the IoT. This organized data would be of great importance, for example to companies which are involved in the advertising business, police and other law maintaining structures, criminals and other third parties for different reasons. Sensitive data could also be very well used to extort people or force them to do things which are useful for the extortionist. The biggest harm from such activity could come in a political form, where dictators or other corrupt officials could control and threaten their political opponents by threatening to reveal some kind of personal information. Although the part about extortion is hopefully not that real scenario in first world countries, the selling of data
Dear Sir/Madam, I read with great regret that you want to reduce the funding for English college Film Club. I would like propose the ideas to enhance the Film Club to not to lose the funding. I will try to change your mind by bringing out folowing reasons. Firstly, Film Club evenings take plave on Fridays 6-10 pm. Usually films are in English and quiz evenings about films are always very popular. Students like to relax and communicate with each other, it is also popular because watching films is not too physically demanding. Secondly, there are some problems but Film Club team is trying to solve them. The biggest problem is lack of money and because of that we would like to raise the entry fee
Different nations. There has always been a moving and mixing of people, caused by different reasons. As a result of this process people now have mixed cultures and many cultural conflicts. It should be easy and good to live in a town full on different cultures, but it may cause some trouble to. Countries with rich diversity usually do not have a race problem.Small countries with only one or two nationalities can be the centre of such problem. The people in these countries do not have any experiences with other origins people, because they aren't used to it. When they
To: Ms Johanson From: Mari Mets Subject: The factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job Introduction The aim of this report is to analyse the results of two surveys into the information about which factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job. The two surveys were carried out in 2005 and 2013. At the end of the report there are some possible reasons for the changes. Grow of importance To start with, the importance had grown 14% for the pay, 15% for the work atmosphere and 20% for work/life balance. The pay has stayed the same in the ranking of importance but the ranking of work/life balance has dropped from fourth to second place. They used to be equally ranked the second, but now they have become the least important factors
To: Ms Maire Liidlein From: Kerli Neljas Date: 16th December Subject: Recommendation report about Haapsalu Introduction Haapsalu is a small, friendly and romantic town is a real summer paradise and in summer a lot of holidaymakers visit this. They come for the warm seawater, curative mud, peacefulness. A lot of people visit the resort every summer, there are many different ways to spent time there, both for tourists and locals. Old Town of Haapsalu and museums People who are interested in culture and history can visit the Old Town and museums. For example the Estonian Railway Museum, the Episcopal Castle Museum, the Läänemaa Museum and others. I think that the city itself is one of the greatest historical places. Nobody can talk about the history of Haapsalu better than the city itself. And visiting museums is a good for acquiring new knowledge, but those people who do not love history, may get bored. And all museums are located relativ...
Tallinn 2013 INTRODUCTION The accession negotiations and the forthcoming Turkish accession present challenges to both Turkey and the EU. It is widely accepted that Turkey's accession would be different from previous enlargements because of the combined impact of Turkey's population, size, geographical location, economic, security and military potential. The case of Turkey will be different and more challenging from previous accessions for a number of reasons, some of them are presented below. Turkey is a country with a large population and geographic area. With a population of 74 million today, it is projected that it could be the largest member state at the time of accession. As a Moslem secular country, Turkey will also add a new demographic and religious dimension to the EU. Also, the presence of a large number of Turkish immigrants in European countries raises the issue of possible additional migration, as

It is probably due to the fact that in our modern world we have television and internet. Most of people are mainly reading for entertainment. They think that reading is a good way to spend their time and moreover, they find it also very useful. Secondly, in addition that reading is interesting it is also the best way to get information. We can read about other cultures or even learn languages from books. Reading widens our horizon and makes us wise. There are lots of reasons for reading. Every group such as students or grownups have their main reasons. Students read because they have obligatory literature. Some of them read beacause they want to get a good mark and some, however, truly like reading because they find it fascinating. Whereas reading is interesting, it is also beneficial. Students can use their book knowledges on their essays. Grownups usually read for fun or to educate themselves. Sometimes grownups read self -
considering their last salary (decision has to be made in 30 days from the employer’s decision). Also, judge can offer this payment. To calculate the amount the judge considers the last salary paid to the worker from the date of dismissal up to the date of effective reinstatement, deducted the earnings resulting from working activities performed during the dismissal period. Just cause or subjective justified reasons – in case of dismissal for those reasons, because there is no case to answer, or because the violation falls within those for which measures short of dismissal can be imposed on the employee, in line with what is laid down by collective agreements or codes of conduct, the judge nullifies the unfair dismissal. The employer must reinstate the employee, but the employee can request, in alternative, a compensation award amounting to 15 months’ pay
Why do people have pets? How often did we go to a friend's house and a lovely dog or cat comes to welcome us? Really often. Nowadays the most part of people keeps a pet at home. According to the common thought, people decide to keep pets for many reasons. Firstly, a lot of old people keeps a pet at home to feel less lonely and to have a companion in their everyday life. Pets keeps occupied a lot of time of their days, doing things such as taking the pet out for a walk or play with them. Moreover, families too choose to have a pet in their lives for many reasons, for instance having their baby feel a lot more confident with animals. Historians don't know for sure when humans started keeping pets
Even in society there are always black sheep and these people are called 'criminals'. Although we are part of the EU and tend to be as humane as possible, we have to deal with the problem of growing numbers of people admitted to penitentiaries. One in all we have to dwelve into the mind of a criminal and find out what makes a felon tick. What forces an individual to commit crimes against others? Are we too humane and lenient? When looking for the reasons why people commit crimes I can only say what I believe to be sure of, and it is that individuals go against laws because they choose so, as criminal behaviour is a matter of choice. Today, there are many excuses cloaked as reasons for criminal behaviour. The misguided nature of these assertions has a serious impact upon crime control strategies. The classical approach holds people to choose freely among alternatives in behaviour

protest is an expression of bearing witness on behalf of an express A cause by words or actions with regard to particular events, policies or situations. But why people protest? What are the reasons behind protest? The first thing that comes to my mind is that people protest because they live boring lives. They have nothing to do or they can find excitement anywhere. When something as exciting as protest happens those people might join it just to reduce the boredome in their lives. The other reason why people protest is peer pressure. During revolutions and protests people start judging and criticizing those who don’t participate in the events
I would guess that the students in p2 are taking a maths exam as I can see calculators on each desk. The fact that they look so serious makes me believe the problems to solve are really challenging. I personally like picture 1 better as I would like to be as happy as he is. MONOLOGUE Some people say that being away from friends makes your friendship stronger. Why do you think they say that? Do you agree? Give reasons. Introduce your monologue and rephrase the statement. It sometimes happens that good friends move away. It might be because of moving house, changing school or for family reasons. There are people who believe it doesn’t matter as being apart can make the friendship even stronger. Give reasons why people might think so. The reasons to think so may be quite different. First, your best friend will still be your best friend, even from half a world away

Cars should be banned in city centers Nowadays, most of the people have their own car. Most of them say that they can´t live without it.Many environmentalists opinion is that cars should be banned in city centers. I support this view for a variety of reasons. First and the most important thing is the pollution. Using cars increase the level of pollution in big city centers. This is especially important because town centers always consist of tall buildings and narrow streets which often hold the pollution in one spot.Global warming is big problem all around the world. So, people should use public transport instead of their own car, if they do think about the nature and the air they breathe every second.

is sometimes exhausting and tiring. But all that said, there is something about books, if a book is truly interesting, then something just forces you to read it, you read a page and you just have to know what comes next, what is going to happen, how will the story end. Page after page after page, until eventually without notice, you have finished the book. I think that reading can be a very enjoyable activity, but some people just do not want to read, there can be many different reasons why they do not want to read, although I personally think that the main reasons can be lack of free time or being forced to read, which makes it very difficult to pick up a book. I think that the printed word will never die because there is something about printed books that just invites you to read them and doesn't let you put the book away until you have finished it. Good morning my dear classmates and teacher. I'm here to talk about one reason why is good live in Estonia. Estonia is a state in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. Estonia is a very beautiful country because of its versatility. I can read a lot of reasons for living here. We have a very beautiful nature, which will take many speechless. We have also a lack of mineral resources, which is very important to us. These reasons may be very much to read. Each person has their own reason why he likes to live in Estonia. For me personally the most important thing is our language. Estonian language have very many rules that make it very difficult to learn for some people. If leave those rules aside, is the Estonian language in terms of its sound very nice, that even many foreigners are admired that and are happy to listen it. Here I would like to ask, is the Estonian important for you
time is about 25. It has been increased very much comparing with the ten years back time and the medium age for woman giving birth is 35. The society thinks that it is quite late and so am I. In my point of view people should have children when their health is on the best condition. So, I think that the best age for having children is befor 40´s on men and before 30´s for woman. It is well known that woman over 35 is a risky group for having children. These reasons are medical but there are also oher reasons why people should have children while being young. The most imortant reason is that our age deifference would not be so big. It would help to understand the other generation better and have better ralations in family. Of course there are very youthful parents despite of their high age but still let´s think about this way that we could see our children growing, having education, getting married and so on. We
Latin crimen. Even in society there are always black sheep and these people are called 'criminals'. Estonia is a relatively safe country, although there are some situations, where people should be more careful crime has been increased lately. We could count different type of crimes, but most common are smuggling and robberies. Many people like something, what do not belong to them. On the one hand, news are talking about shoplifting, bank robbery and vandalism. When looking for the reasons why people commit crimes I can only say what I believe to be sure of, and it is that individuals go against laws because they choose so, as criminal behaviour is a matter of choice. People want to have somebody`s things for living better. If somebodys house is looking too good, there is nice-looking car next to house or there are not so many families living in the neighbourhood and burglar can see that there is nobody in the house also, then burglar might notice, that there is a green light

make us easily be confused when too many new things need figuring out. Of course, in business, sometimes we can not predict what will happen and that there is some thing out of plan is inevitable. But with well planning that mentions all the possible situations, we can quickly back on our feet, or even turn mistakes into advantages as well. However, the issue is still debated, maybe other people have their own reasons to chose taking risks or chances but in my opinion, with such clear and stable reasons above, I ensure that careful planning results in success.
Truancy in school is a very serious problem nowadays. Unfortunately many students have lost their motivation to study. According to the BBC 400,000 children were persistently absent from England's schools in the past year and missed about one month of school each. The effect that poor attendance at school can have on a child's education can be permanent and damaging but skipping should be child's own responsibility and it is not right to punish the parents for it. Students have many reasons why they are skipping school, mostly they do not like the teachers or the subjects that they are taught. They tend think that they won't need those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions.

People watch movies and pictures, play games and do not think, that everything they see is not a reality. They get depressed when finding out that the actual look of an object is not the same as it was on the pictures. When booking a hotel, everybody firstly look at the pictures of the hotel and then decide if they really want to stay there. As they arrive to the place they booked, they are disappointed, because all the pictures were illustrated. Computer-generated images are often the main reasons why people get upset and are disappointed. Secondly, little childrens central nervous system can be effected. again and they are not trustful, therefore they are treated with caution. You have to earn a person´s trust to be in a good relation with him/her and it is hard if you know about someone´s past with criminal aspects. It is easier to be in a relation with people with good past and we often choose people with same views on life beside us. However, I think it is not always true, that a person who has committed a crime, doesn't have accurate posture, because there can be many different reasons why a crime was committed and what kind of reasons did it have. Second, another area, where we can find inequality, is at work. When looking for a job, first of all, people without criminal past are chosen first. Employers tend to choose their employees regarding to the past, because they are careful about a person they choose to work with. You should be able to trust a person, to rely on him/her and who can value honesty and work ethics. Quite frequently people who

Dear Mr Roberts I am writing to express my concern about the closing of the art studio and to bring out reasons why the art studio should be left open. Firstly, there are teachers at the studio, who offer tutoring for many fameous artists. Therfore young students can learn from the best. Furthermore, there are lots of necessary facilities. Secondly, the studio is located in an easily accessible area, so students all over the city can attent in the art department. Moreover, young talents can exhibit their creations in the studio.
