Brexit , which meansBritish “ and „ exit “ is referendum to the United Kingdom for leaving from the European Union. Referendum was held on 23rd June 2016. About 52% of the British people voted for leaving the EU. Brexit turned things in the EU upside down and people were amazed, especially people who voted for not leaving the EU. After voting and seeing the results , a lot of people who voted for leaving regretted it, because they just wanted to see if UK is capable to do something big like this. That is why UK is extending the Brexit, because most of the people do not want it. I think when Brexit is finally accomplished, then we will see what will happen and what will be changed in British people lives and also how it affects our lives. I think there would not be much changes , because the Unites Kingdom does not want to become people’s enemy.
In November 8, 2016, the United States had 58th presidential election. The biggest nominees were Donald Trump , who won 30 states, and Hillary Clinton, who won 20 states. Hillay had 48% of the votes and Donald 46%, but Donald won, because of the winning number of the states. I do not like him at all, because he is racist and he is patronising women . He says what he thinks and he does not care if it is hurting somebody. That is why people vote for him, because of the haranguing. Similarly to Brexit, after the voting results, plenty of people regretted their choise. Now, since 20 January 2017 , Donald Trump is the USA president . We do not know what is going to happen and what will he really do, but we do know, that people are afraid of his promises and they are fighting against it. I hope that people would not give up for their hopefulness and they would not let him control their lives.
Since 23rd November 2016, there is new government in Estonia, that is being led by Prime Minister Jüri Ratas. The government consists of the prime minister and 14 ministers. Before the change , there was an enormous crisis in the main Party , Reform Party. They were arguing a lot and the previous leader Taavi Rõivas did not control the Party and also he could not control the government. That is the reason why Taavi Rõivas was forced to resign from the government and he stepped down as the chairman of the party. The new government left the Reform Party opposition of coalition. The new government turned new page, but ministers are quite the same and there has always been lying in the government. I think there would not be much changes, because people do not change. Changing the government so frequently shows that our politicians and ministers are not strong enough to handle so many crisis. It is sad, that our lives depend , one way or another , of what our country ’s government does and decides .

negative side effect on those who are already working there or were planning on starting. Brexit is considered somewhat of a wake-up call for everybody. It is not a time to lose hope and declare the end of the union. On the contrary, it is time to regroup and rethink the current situation. It has also started some new political movements. For example, Italy’s population was one of the least supportive of the European Union before the 2016 British referendum. Since then the percentage of non-supportive citizens has dropped about 22%. It is now a home for a new pan-European (involves most of the nations of Europe) political party called Volt Europa. It has parties all across Europe and is gaining more support each day. It was founded by Andre Venson, because of Brexit and he felt the fear that the European values are in danger. Their main idea is to reshape the EU as we know it and steer it in the right direction and create

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

THE CAPITALIST NIGER Chika Onyeani ………………………Every African must internalise this book - period….DAA INTRODUCTION In October 1960, Nigeria received its independence from Britain. By then, Ghana the former Gold Coast had been independent for three years under the great Osagyefo Kwame Nkumah. It was a time for celebrating Africa’s coming of age, as more and more African countries received their independence either from Britain or France. It was especially a poignant time for Africa, as then British Prime Minister Harold McMillan articulated his now famous “winds of change” sweeping Africa. We had high hopes for Africa, for the Black race, that the insidious imposition of foreign rule on us, the looting of Africa’s natural resources by our colonial masters accorded us would be things of history. That is more than forty years ago. Unfortunately, the promise of independence has not been fulfilled. Today, Africa has become more desolate; there is more starvation

The UK

THE U.K Different Parts The United Kingdom is a short way of saying the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The UK is the political name for those countries which share a parliament in London. All of them were at one time independent kingdoms with their own monarch. Now they are all part of the same kingdom and share the same monarch. The UK consists of Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. The peoples of these countries are British subjects; they hold British passports and therefore their nationality is British. The british Isles is the geographical name for all the islands off the west coast of Europe. These islands also include The Republic of Ireland, which is politically independent of the Britsh government. Many people refer to the inhabitants of the British isles as 'the English', but England is only one of the countries. The other countries are Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Great britan

Lessons for the future

Lessons for the future Education seems to be in government's, media's and people's spotlight all the time. Times change and education, as one of the most important areas of our society, needs constant reforming. Nowadays, the main focus seems to be on subjects like maths, physics, chemistry etc. because of current IT-era demands more knowledge in those regions than in humanities. I agree that Estonia's government's steps towards making maths and physics our school- system's top priority is quite right, but I think that there can be a lot more done to improve our educational structure. I find that Estonian schools should pay more attention to teaching our children current state in our political landscape. Kids, who go to school, are our future and soon-to-be full- right voters in national elections. They will become old and independent enough to be a part of deciding process over their country's future. So, it is very important that they w
