Even teachers and students say that some changes need to be made. Maybe our government should consultate more with poeple who know the real situtation, when they create new laws. If I were minister of education I would deffenetly prefere American educational system to Russian. Our children should do more practical exercises in school and develop creative thinking. In addition to that I would give more money to our schools and raise also teatchers salary. This would boost up their motivation to give quality education to our children. About the fact that I would have to stay far from home, I do not feel that it would be much of a problem because I have the ability to adapt to various situations. I also have experience with living abroad- I was an exchange student in the Netherlands for a year and I have also worked and lived in the USA for three months. Having in mind my good study record, good knowledge of English language, experience in studying abroad and high level of motivation to participate in this language course I believe to be a good candidate for it.

But what are the pros and cons, if the school would last longer? Firstly, if the government wants to shorten our summer break, then we would not have enough time to rest or visit our relatives. And when the school starts again in the autumn, then many of us would have no motivation to learn. And because of that, our grades starts to deteriorate. Sometimes the school may be very stressful too and then the summer holiday is very good time to rest and deal with other things. Especially when you do not live at home, during the school and then the summer is the only time you can enjoy being home. But if the summer break is so little, then you can not do anything you want, because you always have to read books or do something else related with school.

Is It a Crime to Download Music Free of Charge? Nowadays, a lot of people listen to music on their computer and most of the time they download it illegally. I obviously understand that it is illegal and we should not do it but the question is, should we be able to do it legally. To begin with, music is a big part of our lives. If children were not given the ability to cheer them up with music, the depression levels would definitely be higher, as well as less motivation in children. For an example, the average American child listens to 4 hours of music in a day. I personally listen to at least 5 hours of music a day and all that from the computer when I get home. Secondly, the artists would not have such big crowds at their shows and concerts. This way, the artists are getting more recognition and popularity. Sport boosts their self confident, motivation and responsibility as well. If childern are doing team games it builds teamwork skills and teaches how to trust and rely on others. On the other hand, you can not be obsessed with sports and strain yourself because there may be serious consequences. The biggest disadvantage of sports are injuries.
