WHAT IT TAKE FOR MARGARET THATCHER TO BECOME THE PRIME MINISTER
It is a rather big achievement for a woman to become the prime minister. Back these days it was even inadmissible to believe in it.
She was the only woman in the Parlament at that time. Her father was a pole model and inspiration for her ever since she was a young girl. When she saw her father giving powerful and confident speeches, it motivated her to become as looked up as her father was as a political figure. What gave her a push into politics was wish to make a change in the world, Not to become someone, but to change something that would matter . She was wise and clever enough to do so.
What drove her most was her remarkably strong will to stand for her beliefs , disregarding what others said or believed to be better. She strongly believed in her decisions and never backed downs on a decision what she had made. Her terrible stubbornness is probably why she was such a success as a prime minister.
When presenting her thoughts, she was laughed off numerous times not just because of her gender but also cause she was known as the daughter of a grocer. For her support she had a great friend and an assistant, who could be called her right arm. Their friendship formed out right from the beginning .
We could not talk about Margaret as a prime minister, if it would not have been without his endless support and final push for her to become the prime minister, she had inside her.
Margaret herself candidated for the position just for the fun of it, to shuffle thing up a little . But one day, as they sat down, he told her that it is not how it’s going to go, that he will make sure the next Prime Minister will be her.
With voice coaching , her voice developed more authority , as well her looks , her strong personality got even stronger. Grown respect from colleagues and ministers was conspicuous. Her authority grew among people. This was the breaking point in history, as she won the Prime Minister position she deserved.
Life had taught Margaret to be tough , that no one is going to stand up for her, but herself. It was her strong will, what finally got her in the end. She did not care for anyone else’s thoughts but hers. It was clear to everyone, that it’s either her way or the highway. Highway it was and she was left alone.
That was the time she resigned her occupation and retired. Tough life had left its marks on her, as she was mentally disturbed
