customers. Realistic supply chains have multiple end products with shared components, facilities and capacities. The flow of materials is not always along an arborescent network, various modes of transportation may be considered, and the bill of materials for the end items may be both deep and large. 1 To simplify the concept, supply chain management can be defined as a loop: it starts with the customer and ends with the customer. All materials, finished products, information, and even all transactions flow through the loop. However, supply chain management can be a very difficult task because in the reality, the supply chain is a complex and dynamic network of facilities and organizations with different, conflicting objectives. Supply chains exist in both service and manufacturing organizations, although the complexity of the chain may vary greatly from industry to

From this analysis, it was discovered that one of the reasons why there has been an increase in the design and construction of buildings with highly complicated geometry is the advent of 3D and BIM tools. The main themes that emerged were: • 3D and BIM increase collaboration between different project participants; • A reduction in construction time is evident only when the building models are openly shared; • Intelligent models help to find clashes and reduce re-work; • Models increase accuracy during fabrication and construction; • Shop-drawing review is sped up; • Steel design takes place in a more concurrent fashion; • 3D illustrations help to explain erection sequencing; • Building models provide rigging information for erection crews.

Much DH is produced at the expense of electricity that is considered more valuable, and waste incineration is not popular. In Romania, DH consumption was reduced by one-half. Distribution losses are enormous. New less polluting plants are needed. Consortia from established DH countries could offer DH systems from fuel to customer if local policies facilitate DH development. The paper is based on a report called "District Heating in Europe: Barriers to overcome for Swedish export" , which was prepared for The Swedish District Heating Association. Future console designs (e.g. the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 2) will bring PCs and consoles even closer, and further emphasize online gaming. A british IT-consultant discovered that the LG made smart-TV has been sending back information to the company, about what shows the viewer has been watching and even what files are stored in the USB disk connected to the TV, without the user’s proper consent [4]. By collecting the data from just a smart TV, you could by long-term surveillance, form a pattern which tells you at what days and times a person watches television. From those times, you could deduce when a person is at work, when he is at home, on which days he doesn’t work, at which time does he go to sleep, which shows and topics interest him the most and so forth. The raw data could be then sold to the highest bidder or it could be organized. By collecting data from multiple sources, you could probably write a multiple pages long description of a person, just by monitoring his devices, which are connected into the IoT. This organized data would be of

Google will have to think further about how to both maximize ad revenue and provide useful experiences that change the way people use computers and mobiles. Yahoo!'s management had recognizing the competitive threat from Google and the growth potential for paid listing, in part because Yahoo! was an early investor in Google and had a privileged view of start-up's success. As a full-ledged portal, Yahoo! offered easy access to a board range of third-party content and related services, organized into "channels" such as Autos, Finance, Games, Health, Kids, Movies, Music, Shopping, Sports and Travels. All about High Tech

High-tech startup enterprises receive a large portion of venture capital. However, if, as has happened in the past, investment exceeds actual potential, then investors can lose all or most of their investment. High tech is often viewed as high risk, but offering the opportunity for high profits. Like Big Science, high technology is an international phenomenon, spanning continents, epitomized by the worldwide communication of the Internet. Thus a multinational corporation might work on a project 24 hours a day, with teams waking and working with the advance of the sun across the globe; such projects might be in software development or in the development of an integrated circuit. The help desks of a multinational corporation might thus employ, successively, teams in Kenya, Brazil, the Philippines, or India, with the only requirement fluency in the mother tongue, be it Spanish, Portuguese or English. OECD has two different approaches: sector and product (industry) approaches.

Pay-for performance: necessary or unsuitable way to increase efficiency in the public sector

! Tallinn 2015 ! ! ! ! ! Pay-for performance: necessary or unsuitable way to increase efficiency in the public sector Through history civil service has meant and cited many different forms of serving a country. Raadschelders and Rutgers (1996) have brought out five phases in their article “Evolution of Civil Service systems” that describes how civil service has evolved and become one of the most important part of governing. In different times civil service has supported monarchs, kings, presidents and governments in their work reigning, ruling and leading people. Role of civil service has increased by every age- becoming more and more wider in tasks, obligations and responsibilities, so have the cost that it all brings. Considering this, governments nowadays have a task to evaluate the work of their civil service, to make it more productive and cost-effective. For this, different methods have

[3] - Variety. Data comes in all types of formats – from structured, numeric data in traditional databases to unstructured text documents, email, video, audio, stock ticker data, and financial transactions. [3] With its extensive volumes, it needs to be stored somewhere, so it could be easily accessed and then processed. The best storage location we have for it, for now, is the cloud, or in other words, the deep web. A good analogy is of an iceberg, where the part which is above the water level is the part, that the user can see and interact with. And the part below is comprised of the database and algorithms designed to process the data and send it to the appropriate user. Now, as we have those premises clear, we can finally understand and appreciate the opportunities of big data and the feasibility of it being stored within the cloud.
