Kodune töö nr 1 – artikli kokkuvõte: “Why workers still identify with organizations” Artikkel “Miks töötajad ikka samastuvad organisatsioonidega” räägib, kuidas inimesed on osa organisatsioonist ja kuidas nad muutuvad, kui nad asuvad tööle. Kogu organisatsiooni süsteem domineerib töötajat, seega ei saa töötaja oma emotsioone töös kasutada, vaid peab lähtuma kindlatest reeglitest. Kui inimene läheb tööle, siis ta saab omale uue rolli. Saying, “I’m really hurt by how my friend treated me,” or “I’m terrified of losing this friendship” opens us up and makes us more vulnerable, and therefore feels easier to bury underneath the body-shaming comments that rush to mind. How do we challenge this? In situations like those listed above, expressing true feelings rather than physical criticisms can be a great first step. Recently discussed in IOP, several patients admitted that it is hard to identify ways of expressing frustration without using body-shaming, as this has become an almost automatic response. I will bring out some ways, how to deal with body shaming Practice identifying why you are upset about a situation. For example, it’s unlikely that you’re mad at a friend because she’s breaking out, and more likely that you’re upset about a miscommunication or feeling of rejection. Practice thinking it, and eventually, verbalizing it.

Pros and Cons of School Uniforms To start with, school uniforms have many good sides for students, however, uniforms also have bad sides which are particulary involved with financial problems. In the first place, school uniforms help to prevent violence in school territory, for example uniforms can prevent gangs from forming on campus and identify intruders in the school yard. Secondly, school uniforms increase a sense of belonging and school pride. It encourages discipline, lessens economic and social barriers between students. Besides that there is no need to spend money on trendy clothes. Thirdly, school uniforms make students a target for bullies from other schools. In addition to that, uniforms give students no freedom of expression. Last but not least, school uniforms are an unfair additional expense for parents and besides

military unit. (Brown, 1994) It is thus evident from the first cloth flags in the Arab, Asian and Christian worlds that the practise of flagging one's community, beliefs and purposes has been in use for a very long time, regardless of material substance. Vexillology has also been looked upon as a branch of heraldry and many national flags, their colours and designs, have been influenced by preceding coats of arms which were originally used to identify soldiers on the battlefield. 7 The first badge used during the Crusades was the Cross, which could be worn as a garment on the chest or back of the warrior. The imperial war flag of the Holy Roman Empire (from 800 onwards) displayed a white cross on red, symbolising the holy cause in which the battle was fought.

Ted Talks, Scott Dinsmore His point is that if you want to find work you love, you must understand yourself, your unique strengths (the things you want to do, even if your not getting paid) and become a self-expert, to know what you are looking for in a job and what success means to you. You must also figure out what are your values and analyze your experiences. Once you have this framework together, you can start to identify the things that you want in your life and work. Do the impossible and push your limits. I think that Scott Dinsmore thinks in the right direction. If you want to be happy with your life you must find work that you love. And I know that the most difficult `'thing'' for peole is to actually think, think what they are, what they want and what makes THEM them. I think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices.

who gives guidance and the knowledge how to defeat the antagonist. Commonly this guide is from a different world and a stranger to the main character. He has alien ways and an exotic nature. This mentor needs to be a stranger because nothing can be learned from something common and known. He provides the moral of the story and initiates the change in both the hero and the consumer. But it all happens behind the scenes. The consumer needs the hero to identify himself with someone but needs the mentor to get the big lesson in the end. She couldn't force herself to move. All her worst nightmares were becoming real. She started hearing all kinds of voices from the attic. All at once the barking dogs went mad; she heard a crazed laughter coming from the attic and a thump. That was the last thing Ella remembered when she woke up- she had fainted and now when she looked at the timepiece she noticed it was five o'clock. It was still dark outside and the house was silent. There was a noise she couldn't identify coming from the garden and then some footsteps and a weak knock on the door. For a second Ella couldn't decide whether she was dreaming or not and if she should react to the knock. She then, very slowly got up and went to the door. She saw nothing from the peephole- it was too dark outside. Ella decided to open the door very slowly. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw a bloody hand fall in from the gap. Now she noticed a black figure lying on her doormat. Ella fainted again

Here you can see the model of reincarnation- it happens when a non-human (for example a fox or a wolf or a dragon) dies, their body dies but the soul never dies and it just takes some other body, gets inside there and many Otherkin community members believe that this non-human soul is in their body, that their own soul is not human. They declare that inside they are more than just homo sapiens. Not all otherkin necessarily share these beliefs; some may simply prefer to identify as non-human without this reincarnation. Mostly these peole communicate on the Internet and if they gather then mostly to talk about their past, their feelings or to just get more information about other otherkins. Behaviour- Otherkin is a pretty quiet subculture. They dont do or go to demostrations or attack people, because most of the otherkin understand that really only one or two percent of the population share their beliefs.

studying a concept that she calls Wholeheartedness, posing the questions: How do we engage in our lives from a place of authenticity and worthiness? How do we cultivate the courage, compassion, and connection that we need to embrace our imperfections and to recognize that we are enough— that we are worthy of love, belonging, and joy? This book is full of powerful topics such as self-compassion, acceptance, and gratitude. As a researcher, she observed human behavior so she can identify and name the subtle connections, relationships, and patterns that help us make meaning of our thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. In the process of collecting thousands of stories from diverse men and women who lived all over the country—ranging in age from eighteen to eighty-seven— She saw new patterns that she wanted to know more about. Yes, we all struggle with shame and the fear of not being enough. And, yes, many of us are afraid to let our true selves be seen and known
it was inherited by word of mouth. The events occurring in the poem are set in Southern Scandinavia, Geatland and Denmark, in the fifth and sixth centuries. This was their present and therefore interesting to them as they could identify with the characters. The restricted variety of themes, flat characters and confrontation are peculiarities of epics. The characters are either the embodiment of utmost goodness or the complete contrary. Beowulf is described as a wise, hardy, noble hero who is fighting universal evil, whereas Grendel is a hideous, horrific, grim, fierce and merciless fiend who possesses no good qualities. Rational Use of Diagnostic Tests Screening tests Diagnostic tests are often used to screen asymptomatic patients and identify risk factors for occult disease. Screening tests should be generally noninvasive, inexpensive, and of minimal risk to the patient. Screening tests should have high diagnostic sensitivity, which means few false negative results would be expected, as the goal of testing is to rule out the presence of disease. Screening tests should be used to screen for diseases that (1) have serious consequences if left undetected, (2) are reasonably prevalent within the population, and (3)

Scotlan History The history of Scotland begins around 10,000 years ago, when humans first began to inhabit Scotland after the end of the Devensian glaciation, the last ice age. Of the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age civilization that existed in the country, many artifacts remain, but few written records were left behind.People lived in Scotland for at least 8,500 years before recorded history dealt with Britain. The written history of Scotland largely begins with the arrival of the Roman Empire in Britain, when the Romans occupied what is now England and Wales, administering it as a Roman province called Britannia. To the north was territory not governed by the Romans -- Caledonia, by name. Its people were the Picts. From a classical historical viewpoint Scotland seemed a peripheral country, slow to gain advances filtering out from the Mediterranean fount of civilisation, but as knowledge of the past incr...
