Global warming

Global warming means that the temperature keeps going higher. The world is now warmer than at any time since the last Ice Age. The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. One reason why the global warming is happening is that the population is growing and we need to do more work so everyone can feel themselves comfortable. They have enough to eat, new clothes, warm house and so on. Some areas become uninhabitable so people have to move around and maybe even fight for something. For example for clean water. People so far have acted careless and not thinking ahead too far in the future. There have been few who have tried to stand out and make others understand what they should do. They have

Global Warming

Global Warming One of the biggest issues our planet and its inhabitants are facing nowadays is global warming. Global warming, also often referred to as the greenhouse effect, has not always been a problem. However, over the last centuries, since the Industrial Revolution things have changed. Polar regions are melting, species are dying, climate zones are shifting, migration patterns for animals such as polar bears and birds are being disrupted our world as we know it is changing. Some scientists believe that the climate will reach a tipping point, a point

Retell Global Warming

The Earth's climate has been changing constantly over its history. Once, all climate change occurred naturally, but recently, people have also started altering the climate. We are sending more and more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The average global temperature has increased by about 0.5 °C over the past century. Scientist expect it to increase up to an additional 3 °C over the next on 100 years. People who are living in cold places may have a chance to grow new crops if the climate gets warmer. At the same time in some parts of the world, people won't be able to grow the food they need. Global warming will make the sea level higher because it'll make the glaciers melt. When water expands in the ocean, it takes up more

Global Warming

Global warming Global Warming effects on the natural balance of environment Climate significant change day by day What causes it? Greenhouse gases Fuel burning Ozone layer Deforestation traffic clogging up the city streets rapid growth of unplanned industries the use of CFCs in packaging and manufacturing products Detergents Overpopulation Killing animals like birds, big cats, lions, tigers What it causes? Temperature raising Melting polar ice sheets Currents change its circulation e.g. The Gulf Stream El nino Pollution sea-water to swell up. Natural system Animals deaths Sea level rise reduce mankind's ability to grow foods, destroy wildlife. Agriculture, forestry and fishery damaged Is it dangerous is very dangerous for our existence and survival. sun's scorching heat comes to earth in a direct way the earth's surface becomes seriously heated. What should we do to prevent the dangerous effects of GW? We should not cut off trees Rather we should plant more and more trees Mill

Essay on water pollution, global warming, acid rain, deforestation, intensive farming

Scientists first discovered acid rain in 1852, when the English chemist Robert Agnus invented the term. From then until now, acid rain has been an issue of intense debate among scientists and policy makers. Acid rain, one of the most important environmental problems of all, cannot be seen. The invisible gases that cause acid rain usually come from automobiles or coal-burning power plants. Acid rain moves easily, affecting locations far beyond those that let out the pollution. As a result, this global pollution issue causes great debates between countries that fight over polluting each other's environments. For years, science studied the true causes of acid rain. Some scientists concluded that human production was primarily responsible, while others cited natural causes as well. Recently, more intensive research has been done so that countries have the information they need to prevent acid rain and its dangerous effects. The levels of acid rain vary from region to region

Animal affected by global warming, American Pika

When they find food, they will eat a portion of it and take the rest for safekeeping in a pile, for use during the winter season. Communication American pikas are often heard before they are seen. They make calls and sing to define and protect their territory, alert others to the presence of dangers and attract mates. The call sounds like the bleat of lamb, but more high pitched and squeaky. Research suggests that American pikas are particularly vulnerable to global warming because they reside in areas with cool, relatively moist climates. An alarming number of pikas have already become early victims of global warming. Living essentially on highelevation islands means that American pikas in these regions have little option for refuge from the pressures of climate change because migration across lowelevation valleys represents for them an incalculably high risk and perhaps an impossibility under current climate regimes.

In todays society there`s a huge problem with waste and global warming.

4/14/2019 Nimetu dokument - Google'i dokumendid Essay In todays society there`s a huge problem with waste and global warming. Many oh those problems come from us not thinking about what our actions do to the environment. Hazardous waste comes from factories that produce stuff that we really don`t need. We use private cars just to go to the supermarket but we could just take the buss or walk wich is much more environment friendly. The one that we do the most is leaving rubbish around that doesn`t turn into compost.

How global warming will change the way we live in future?

Hello ladies and gentelmans Today I'm going to talk about how global warming will change the way we live in future. In fact durning the twentieth century global temperature went up by over 0,7 Celsius degree. It looks pretty small number but even slight Climate change leads to serious consequences. Firstly, global warming will cause that glaciers start to melt. And as a result, the water level will raise and cities and villages which are located near oceans and sees will be flooded. Secondly, if we don't stop global warming, we will bserve more examples of extreme weather such as heat waves, storm clouds, which may lead to floods, droughts and forest fires. Next conseqences of global warming is that oceans temperature will go up. It is likely that it will cause an increase in activity of hurricanes,
