I went to live in France 21st August of 2013. In France I did live about 2 years but now im back to Estonia. In France the schools are very different with Estonian ones. Now im going to talk about the differences abot the Estonian schools and France schools. The school In France In France I did went to school named Therese Davila. This school is one of the best schools in North of France. This school was only for the age 11- 16 years old. This school was an elitcschool. Protecting endangered species will make a difference in humans life

Protecting endangered species will make a difference in humans' life In the nature of humankind it is natural to hunt animals. However, nowadays hunting endangered species will make humans be just killers, because it is not necessary to kill something just to have a trophy on the wall at home. People can be proud of what they have done, but decreasing the population of a species largely will cause the specific animal breed to go extinct faster than it would happen via natural causes. Therefore, humans should stop hunting endangered species to slow down their extinction, as these species offer balance in the wildlife, are used without purpose in medicine, and may even reduce poverty. Species on the brink of extinction affect us more than we realize. Sure, pandas are cute, and rhinos are fun to look at, but is there anything more to that? All animals and plants form a very important part of our ecosystem that also includes our land...

A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference

A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference For most of us, it’s our dream from a young age: We want to change the world. We all want to live in clean and a better world. We want to make everyone laugh and happy because it makes us happy. While you are getting older your thought to change the world will disappear. As a teenager you are thinking about your dream job. Maybe you want to be a doctor, a musician or start your own business. They are all very different thoughts but they’re not easy. Big dreams are always difficult. So is

LOODUSKOSMEETIKA

LOODUSKOSMEETIKA Hanka Merila MY15 Looduskosmeetika Reeglina mõeldakse ``loodusliku kosmeetika`` all puhtalt taimset kosmeetikat, võimaluse korral ilma loomse päritoluga produktide sisalduseta ja täiesti ilma sünteetiliste lisanditeta. On olemas ka “roheline nimekiri” kõigist looduslikest toodetest. which the gas mixture will be ignited, or self-ignited. The combustion stroke is the stroke following the explosion of the mixture, and this stroke is what powers the car. It is this stroke that powers the crankshaft, and allows for the car to move. The final stroke is the exhaust stroke. The exhaust valve opens when the piston hits the bottom, and the piston pushes the exhaust out. Both engines also have camshafts, which operate the opening and closing of valves. Difference The main difference between a gasoline engine and a diesel engine is the fuel used. The main difference between these fuels is the combustion ratio at which each will explode. Gasoline does not self-ignite when compressed, because it does not generate enough heat. It needs activation energy to explode, and this energy is generated by a spark plug at the top of the cylinder. Diesel on the other hand, does not require a spark plug to ignite it because it

Environmental issues in Estonia

Environmental issues in Estonia The Earth is considered to be the most beatiful planets in the Universe. But our planet is threaten by environmental problems. Even a small country like Estonia can make difference. Our capital city is fighting against air pollution. But people produce much refuse and ways of recycling are getting old. Water pollution is also a problem in Estonia. We have factories that let their waste run into rivers. One of the biggest problems in Estonia is air pollution. Our air is polluted by exhaust fumes, because today we have a lot of cars, buses and other machines. In 2009 we had 407 cars to

Study of heat transfer coefficient in helical coil

In steady state, a constant flow rate and agitation was applied until temperatures stayed constant, then were the readings taken. In unsteady state, bath was heated up and then cooled down with cold water running through the submerged coil and temperature readings were taken every five minutes. A theoretical overall heat transfer coefficient was calculated using different sources of literature and then they were compared to experimental coefficients. The difference is explained based on the conditions of equations and experimental setup. The results showed that overall heat transfer coefficient changed as expected, it was bigger with higher flow rates, which directly results in higher Reynolds numbers, and higher agitation rates. Some anomalies did occur, but they can be explained with atypical details in experimental setup. 3 4 Table of Contents

Cost Accounting notes

Organizations with high proportion of fixed costs in their cost structures have high operating leverage. Degree of operating leverage = CM/operating income Sales mix is the quantities of various products that constitute total unit sales of a company. Breakeven point in bundles = FE/ CM per bundle. Chapter 7 - Flexible budgets, direct-cost variances, management control Variance is the difference between actual results and expected performance. Management by exception is the practice of focusing management attention on areas that are not operating as expected and devoting less time to areas operating as expected. Static budget, or master budget, is based on the level of output planned at the start of the budget period. Static-budget variance is the difference between the actual result and the corresponding budgeted amount.

Reading a quality or a popular newspaper

Reading a quality or a popular newspaper There are two types of newspapers, one of them is quality papers and other are popular papers, tabloids. There are some differences between those two actually really unlike types of newspapers. Firstly, the main difference is in the content. From quality papers people can read about serious topics. This kind of papers contain inportant issues and reflect different political views. Also quality papers have financial and sports news. But from popular papers contain more sensational stories and scandals. Secondly, quite big difference is in the price and the looks between those two papers. Quality papers are printed on large pages, have an undramatic layout and very simple desing.

Estonia vs England

Estonia vs. United Kingdom Comparing Estonia to United Kingdom, you can mostly find out the fact that the weathers aren’t so different, from my point of view atleast. Pretty rainy or wet most of the time, moderate winters and pretty average summers. Taking a look at the state systems, we can see that both countries are parliamentary government types, just the difference is that the United Kingdom is a monachry with a queen and Estonia has a president. From an economical standpoint, United Kingdom surpasses Estonia is most sectors, we can take the GDP as an example, when UK stands at 2.629 trillion then Estonia only stands at a low of 38.94 billion. That’s a huge difference, but we should concider another factor. When Estonia stands at the bottom ten of public debt, having one of the lowest ones in Europe then

nature to adjust. As I said before desertification eventually leads to global warming. Glaciers and permafrost have decreased dramatically on both side of hemisphere. In the future in the South-Europe the temperature in summers may rise so high that people will have to find temporary refuges in the mountains. I've thought about what should be done and I honestly don't know what to do to make the message clear to everybody, to people who actually have the power to make a difference. It comes to my mind that a difference can be made all together. People so far have acted careless and not thinking ahead too far in the future. There have been few who have tried to stand out and make others understand what they should, tried to show what has happened so far and what will happen if no action is taken under consideration. Global warming and our part in it is a serious problem that we have to face. We have to think about the

School and studying isn’t very hard but sometimes it’s abnormal how much teacher give you a homework. The school atmosphere is very good in our glass but our glass doesn’t speak a lot to our parallel glass because they really hate us. What are the biggest pressures for teens in your city? Võru doesn’t have many pressures but maybe the biggest problem is that in Võru there is no place to be with your friends. In our city luckily is no problem with criminality. Is there a difference in Estonia between the north and the south? No, our country is small and there aren’t big differences. Maybe the biggest difference is that south has many dialects and the north doesn’t understand our language. Also north has bigger salary and for that lives better. Have you visited any other countries? Yes, I have visited many countries. Finland, Latvia and Lithuania for many times, that’s more than three times. Also Poland for once. What is your ambition for the future?

Two sections of the brain responsible for language were found to be larger in women than in men, indicating one reason that women typically excel in language-based subjects and in language- associated thinking. Additionally, men typically only process language in their dominant hemisphere, whereas women process language in both hemispheres. This difference offers a bit of protection in case of a stroke. Women may be able to recover more fully from a stroke affecting the language areas in the brain while men may not have this same advantage. 4. Emotions. Women typically have a larger deep limbic system than men, which allows them to be more in touch with their feelings and better able to express them, which promotes bonding with others. Interview with Chinese lecturer

teachers receive from overseas students in China is related to the purpose of teaching. In China, the Chinese language studies often hold more importance for the students, since most of them have come to China from poorer countries in Asia hoping to earn more money and have a better life in China than they would in their own countries. To be able to become successful in China they need the Chinese language skills and consequently respect the teachers who can make a great difference in their lives by teaching them the necessary vocabulary. In Estonia on the other hand, the reason to study Chinese is often due to some level of interest rather than a necessity. Therefore the motivation and effort the students put in the Chinese language studies varies greatly. According to the lecturer, the students in Estonia question the teacher's decisions more than the students in China which also suggests that the teachers have a smaller amount of authority

What makes a person successful?

What makes a person successful ? To answer that question, we firstly have to define a word success, because I personally think that everybody does it differently, but here comes my version. Success is a moment when a person achieves a goal that they has made for himself for a long time period. In my opinion, we have to stress the words ,,long time period." Why ? Because I do not think that somebody has made an enormous success, when the goal they had made was not actually a challenge. To make it more clear to You, we should not use extremely widespread Borat's expression ,,Great success!" so often. A succesful person takes down such goals as a wish to be a director, to get promoted and to marry a very nice looking lady. Achievements which some people see only in their dreams, the ones you can be proud of ! Surely it depends on every individual personally, what is important for them. In conclusion, a succesful per...

Gerunds and infinitives

I heard her play in Milan. WATCH OUT! In passive sentences make, hear, help are followed by an infinitive with to. He was made to report to the police. Let can not be used in the passive form. Instead, allowed must be used. My parents let me stay out late. I am allowed to stay out late by my parents. After modal verbs You must leave now. After would rather/had better You would better come in now. Verbs followed by a gerund or to-infinitive with a difference in meaning · Can`t bear/ stand, hate, like, love, prefer When these verbs are used with the infinitive, they refer to more specific situations. When they are used with the gerund, they refer to more general situations. The difference in meaning is very slight. I prefer to work on a computer than to write by hand. I can not bear listening to her complaining all the time. · Remember, forget, regret, stop, try

Capital Punishment Should be Abolished

found to be innocent. Why is it wrong? Capital punishment is a barbarous survival from a less enlightened and refined age; it is incongruous and incompatible with our present standard of civilization and humanity. It has been abolished by many states and countries, and we must look forward to the day when all the governments will follow this. It's a murder. The first question that comes to mind is, is it ethically acceptable to kill someone? When you execute a person, what is the difference between you and the criminal who has committed the crime of killing another individual. Furthermore, capital punishment can be inappropriate and unjust. It's not necessary. There is always a solution to the problem, instead of putting people to death sentence we could simply put them behind bars as he or she may improve himself. For instance, persons who have served life sentences have most of the time change their attitudes and their behaviors and have also made worthwhile

How to save fresh water?

How to save fresh water? We all know what the problem is. Our lakes are dirty, people are wasting water for no reason not understanding how important it is not to waste it because we may soon run out of fresh water. It can seem like there's no solution, but there is! A few simple changes can help a lot. First of all, it is really important to keep our lakes clean, because nature is the premier source of fresh water. So people should stop dropping garbage into the lakes or near them. And walking pets near the lakes is also not such a good idea. It's not very nice to find some animal's body wastes while going to swim. Secondly, think about how much water you use. A few simple steps could save your money and help protect the environment. For example you should prefer shower to bath or you should turn the water off while brushing your teeth. Finally, people who work in agriculture, should start collecting rainwater to water their f...

Setting goals and trying to achieve them

Setting goals and trying to achieve them is an important factor of success Stanislav Stõkov MASB11 Every person's main goal or dream is to succeed in life. While the mission stays the same, the only difference is how it is achieved. Usually people set goals for themselves and attain them step by step, but how important is it in general? The advantages of setting goals include firstly, acting on a certain plan. If people have their goals straighten out, then they will not come to a point where they do not know what to do or what will happen next. It is much easier to move from one point to another if there is a direction. Secondly, if one goal is attained then people feel already sense of

Theatre: Theatre as compared to film and literature

Theatre: Theatre as compared to film and literature Im going to compare theatre to film and literature. There are some seally big differences between thatre and film or literature. Firstly the main difference between literature and theatre is that if you read a book, you have to imagine the whole image in your head and thus everybody sees one thing differently, but in theatre you have a real live picture in front of you. Also in books the feelings, thoughts and emotions are described better than in theatre performances. Secondly, in theatre performances you can only see one stage and one place but in movies the
