I read a book named „Girl, 15 Charming but Insane“. It’s written by Sue Limb . It’s an interesting book that talks about the life of 15 year old girl. The main character was Jess and she lived with her mother . Jess had many teenager’s problems. She wanted his father to be with her and she wanted to get the attention of the most beautiful boy of the school named Ben Jones . She was also dissatsisfied with her appearance. She had a best friend named Flora , who unfortunately had all of that. She was one of the most beautiful girls in the school, she got every boy she wanted and she had a real home-loving family. Flora was also very popular caused by her richness and beautiful home.
One weekend there was a party at her classmate ’s place . The whole class came together and there were also lots og boys so Jess wanted to look amazing . Jess thougth she had a too flat chest so she decided to fill her bras with bags of minestrone soup . But then one accident happened. Suddenly one boy, that she even didn’t like, came to her and hugged her and and the soup quickly exploded into his face . Jess thought that she was going to die but everyone only thought that she was sick and she had thrown up on the boy. Then some days later the really bad news came out. A boy at the party had put a camera in the girl’s bathroom and they were going to have a video showing party the next weekend. Jess was desperated. After that soup accident she had gone to the toilet to wash her bras so she tought that everyone could see and find out about his secret fillings in bras. She told his very good friend Fred that she don’t want anybody to see that tape. Fred and Jess were very good friend, and to help Jess Fred stole the tape.
Fred and Jess were very close to each other . They often went to school and back from there together. They had been friends since childhood and they shared their secrets and thoughts. They could always rely on each other. For example in the middle of the book Jess’s granny moved to their place and got Jess’s room . Jess was very upset. Jess ran to Fred and spend a night at his place. Jess was always welcome in Fred’s family. His parents were fond of Jess and always ready to help her.
The birthday of Fred’s mother approached and Fred wanted Jess to buy her a present and he also wanted her to have a party with his family. On his mother’s birthday Jess went quickly home after school to change clothes and go and buy a gift . But when she got home she found that his granny had overfloated the kitchen and she had to clean up the whole mess. It took a lot of time and one moment Jess realized that she had been late for an hour already . She called Fred and told that she was sick. But she knew that Fred didn’t belive her because she had sounded so unbelivable. Fred was resentful and disappointed. Jess wanted to talk and apologize but every time she saw Fred she was at random with Ben Jones, Flora or some boy from their class. So Fred thougt that Jess had some kind a relationship with somebody and he got jelous because step by step she had fallen love in Jess
Jess felt the same . She felt terrible when she couldn’t talk or be with Fred. Jess also realized that she had no real feelings for Ben Jones exept that she only really liked his look. Unfortunately, by the time Jess realizes her true feelings for Fred she got to know that his best frend Flora had fallen in love with Fred too. Jess was shocked. Happily the whole story ended well. Fred and Jess finally make up. They understood that they’ll be more than just friends and Flora accepted it. Jess and Fred started dating, they spent a lot of time together and had lots of funny time. However like always Flora found a new boyfriend.
