average adventure traveller is not a 28-year old male anymore, but a 47-year-old female (The Gutsy Traveler, 2013). When relying on these examples, then female adventure tourism is clearly influenced by cultural trends. As a result, the western society is afraid to travel to Middle East, and female in Middle East cannot travel abroad, creating a cultural wall between the two worlds. Despite being a growing trend, both female/adventure travellers have some problems. Many female travellers love the thrill of going to exotic places and discover new environments. The number of female solo business travellers has quite recently gone up from 23% to 30% in 2013, it shows that adventure travel is not the only travel, where females are making progress (Mintel, 2010a; Mintel, 2013a). The Government of Canada (2014) in independent female travel guide, states that men and women love to travel equally, but when it comes to safety in a foreign

Are you experienced? By William Sutcliffe Have you ever thought about backpackers and what makes them go to such a nerve-racking trip? Or do they regret leaving modern life behind and packing it up to find themselves in 3 rd world countries? I had thought about it before, however newer as thoroughly as William Sutcliffes novel made me think. The author writes about the struggles and triumphs in adjusting to major environmental changes and issues with other travellers that appear in every other backpackers journey. The book is entertaining though it’s full of problems that the 3 rd world has and it highlights them in almost unnoticeable ways. “Are you experienced “ draws attention to food and water problems that are common in India. There were many detailed descriptions of diseases and parasites, they were rather disgusting. Even the thought of the situation where locals can’t
Complaint This February I planned a roundtrip flight for 4 travellers from Anchorage to Toronto from 4th of July till 13th of July 2014. After buying the tickets from the Internet (tickets.ua), I decided to pick seating for all of them. In February, I found a link through the airline webpage where I could easily pick seating for each of them. I sent my 14 year-old son on the trip with his grandfather and I wanted them sit next to each other because it was his first long flight. Furthermore, my son specially asked if he could have seat by the window

This has, for instance, been the case with a number of travel books on Romania, in which the country and its people are the object of the Western travellers' scrutiny. An ActivitiesBased Model of Destination Choice (Cooper & Gilbert, 2008, p. 5661) Moscardo et al. model 1996 Moscardo et al. provides a bit different approach to consumer behavior than the other researchers. He argues that motives can be seen as providing travellers with expectations for activities and destinations seen as offering activities... Existing destination choice models can be both more destinationspecific and bring travel motives more clearly into the choice process by including activities as attributes of destinations (Pearce, 2005, p. 106). perfect vacation. During a stay in Bangkok, he meets a mysterious man who tells him about a secret beach. Richard then heads for southern Thailand in search of the island. Along the way, he meets a young French couple, Françoise and Étienne and he shares the secret of the island with them. The three then start to find the island and finally they get there. Heading further inland, they find a hidden beach where a small clan of travellers has settled. After their arrival many scary things start to happen. The film was very interesting and it is definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. I have seen it for about 4 times and I still watch it with great interest. I would recommend it to anyone who likes adventures.
separate railway terminals had been built just outside the centre of London: London Bridge, Euston, Paddington, King's Cross, Bishopsgate and Waterloo. At this point, only Fenchurch Street Station was located in the actual City of London. Traffic congestion in the city and the surrounding areas had increased significantly in this period, partly due to the need for rail travellers to complete their journeys into the city centre by road. The idea of building an underground railway to link the City of London with the mainline terminals had first been proposed in the 1830s, but it was not until the 1850s that the idea was taken seriously as a solution to traffic congestion. If you ask that people are assuming the question was about how they feel or how their life is. All in all, Estonians and Australians show much different styles of behaviour but also many similarities of respectful and happy environment. There is also many nature-related love in both people, Estonia's large area of forest makes for a lot of affection coming for the republic's people and Australia with it's tropical and warm climate flatter many people, tourists, travellers and students here. To sum things up, Estonia and Australia show both large differences and also some similarities, making them seem quite close to one another for being so far divided. Both enjoy happy and simple lifestyles, one takes high trust to be friend, the other sees respect as a symbol of friendship. Words: 526

Other fine bridges survive in Iran, such as the Bridge of Khaju at Isfahan (1667), with eighteen pointed arches, carrying an 85ft (26m) wide roadway with walled, shaded passageways, flanked by pavilions and watch towers. This magnificent bridge, combining architecture and engineering in splendid functional harmony, also served as a dam, and included a hostelry where travellers found cool rooms for rest and refreshment after hot desert crossings (Figure 3). Picturesque bridges, such as the Kintaikyo at Iwakuni (1673), with its five wooden arches intricately wedged, slotted, and dovetailed together, are found in Japan. The superstructure of this bridge has been rebuilt for centuries (the central three arches every 18- 22 years, and the side spans every 36 years), maintaining the fine craft tradition of the bridge keepers for centuries (Figure 4). southeast corner of the city to keep them under control. This castle was expanded by later kings until it became the complex we now call the Tower of London. The Tower acted as royal residence, and it was not until later that it became famous as a prison. In 1176 the first stone London Bridge was built. This bridge was to remain the only one in London until 1739. Because the passage across this one bridge was narrow and clogged with traffic, it was much quicker for travellers to hire boatmen to row them across the river, or transport them up or down river. In 1191 Richard I acknowledged the right of London to self-government, and in 1192 the election of the first Mayor was held. In 1245 Henry III began his lifetime work of rebuilding Westminster Abbey, which was re- consecrated in 1269. An other building project of the medieval period was Old St. Paul's Cathedral which was finished in 1280. Tudor London 1485-1603

These domestic cats with pendulous ears, of which we have full descriptions, are still farther removed from the wild and primitive race, than those whose ears are erect." In a supplement, Buffon added that there was some doubt as to whether the Sumxu was a cat or some other animal: "I formerly remarked, that, in China, there were cats with pendulous ears. This variety is not found any where else, and perhaps it is an animal of a different species; for travellers, when mentioning an animal called Sumxu, which is entirely domestic, say, that they can compare it to nothing but the cat, with which it has a great resemblance. Its colour is black or yellow, and its hair very bright and glittering. The Chinese put silver collars about the necks of these animals, and render them extremely familiar. As they are not common, they give a high price, both on account of their beauty, and because they destroy rats."
