The Unique Girl
When walking on the streets you can often see someone with a great style whom you look at and think “What an odd appearance. Kind of cool, but odd”. If you bothered to waste your brain you could think that about every other person actually.
It must be said that the Lila looks cool and stylish . Her style has become a trend even though she doesn’t admit to it. She sees herself as one of a kind. At least that is what she wishes she could be. She mustn’t be mistaken for the labels girl. Lila hates all kinds of labels. She never wears Guess or D&G even though she could very well afford them . She does all her shopping in second hand stores. She is trying so hard to keep the locations secret , not to have competition. Even though she actually shops a lot in her own secret places Lila doesn’t have a decent pair of jeans or black pants. Or at least she is never seen in one. Her cupboard is full of big granny pullovers, black tights and all kinds of different dresses that she combines with her various cardigans. As you have probably noticed her appearance is very important to her. She wants to change her looks as often as possible which is why she colors her hair almost every month. Lila also makes sure that everyone knows that she cuts her own hair.
When you happen to be a friend of a friend of Lila you’ll love her. She is funny and friendly and always has a great story to tell about the previous weekend’s crazy party where she got really drunk and argued with an annoying bitch. But when you happen to be a new person outside her clique, let’s say just in the same workout group, you will probably find out about all your mistakes on the spot . She quickly figures out your mainstream style, disturbing way of pushing back your hair every one in a while and the lack of personality you have. And she most certainly makes sure to share her views with her friend in a loud enough voice so that you ought to be deaf not to hear it. Indeed, Lily loves attention . You could recognise her laugh from a mile away because she laughes oh so loudly. You simply can’t help yourself but to start laughing with her, but actually laugh at her laugh. At least it’s good to know that Lila doesn’t mind. Or if she does she hides it well enough because from an outsiders view point it seems that Lila simply doesn’t care what others think of her. If she feels threatened she uses the help of a good old friend called sarcasm. Always handy and helps you get rid of annoying people and their stupid questions .
And last but not least, something essential to Lily is hating everything mainstream. There are tons of thing she loudly and gladly expresses her hate towards as they are to common. To bring an example the colour pink, pop songs , everyone’s favourite teacher , the prettiest or the nicest girl in the neighbourhood, jeans and so on.
But as already mentoned, if you’re a friend, Lily seems like any other (yes, in time you’ll get used to her loud laugh). The good thing is that few don’t own an opinnion about her. It’s the matter of an individual mind..
Love her or hate her. She is still there .

my partner. At such an assembly as this it would be insupportable. Your sisters are engaged, and there is not another woman in the room whom it would not be a punishment to me to stand up with." "I would not be so fastidious as you are," cried Mr. Bingley, "for a kingdom! Upon my honour, I never met with so many pleasant girls in my life as I have this evening; and there are several of them you see uncommonly pretty." "You are dancing with the only handsome girl in the room," said Mr. Darcy, looking at the eldest Miss Bennet. "Oh! She is the most beautiful creature I ever beheld! But there is one of her sisters sitting down just behind you, who is very pretty, and I dare say very agreeable. Do let me ask my partner to introduce you." "Which do you mean?" and turning round he looked for a moment at Elizabeth, till catching her eye, he withdrew his own and coldly said: "She is tolerable, but not handsome

Stay where you are. I can dispense with your polite attentions. ELMIRE We're only paying what is due you, mother. Why must you go away in such a hurry? MADAME PERNELLE Because I can't endure your carryings-on, And no one takes the slightest pains to please me. I leave your house, I tell you, quite disgusted; You do the opposite of my instructions; You've no respect for anything; each one Must have his say; it's perfect pandemonium. DORINE If . . . MADAME PERNELLE You're a servant wench, my girl, and much Too full of gab, and too impertinent And free with your advice on all occasions. DAMIS But . . . MADAME PERNELLE You're a fool, my boy--f, o, o, l Just spells your name. Let grandma tell you that I've said a hundred times to my poor son, Your father, that you'd never come to good Or give him anything but plague and torment. MARIANE I think . . . a few tears escape. I wasn't in the mood to go on a real crying jag. I would save that for bedtime, when I would have to think about the coming morning. Forks High School had a frightening total of only three hundred and fifty-seven -- now fifty- eight -- students; there were more than seven hundred people in my junior class alone back home. All of the kids here had grown up together -- their grandparents had been toddlers together. I would be the new girl from the big city, a curiosity, a freak. Maybe, if I looked like a girl from Phoenix should, I could work this to my advantage. But physically, I'd never fit in anywhere. I should be tan, sporty, blond -- a volleyball player, or a cheerleader, perhaps -- all the things that go with living in the valley of the sun. Instead, I was ivory-skinned, without even the excuse of blue eyes or red hair, despite the constant sunshine

there for us no matter what, even when things get rough. Friends are always there for us, to laugh with us in the happy times and to provide us with a shoulder, when we feel like crying. There is not a list of qualities you expect to see in a friend. Every friend has different qualities and they are beyond comparison. Some friends might be good listeners and some can help you to find solutions to problems. Everyone is unique in their own personal way. But a perfect friend has to be faithful, honest, fun and understanding. I think I have those qualities but I cannot judge myself. Because others may see me in a different way. True friends love us and care for us. They always make us feel special and never expect anything in return, other than our love and friendship. They stay true to us throughout their lives. Sandra has become one of my closest friends. I met her when we were in the second grade
