What is addiction? Addiction is being adicted to something and it can be anything. Mostly, when people hear word addiction, they think about drugs, sigarets and alcohol but it can be a person, some food or work. People fall in addiction in my opinion because they get used to something or someone and then they dont want to let go anymore. After a while they start to think that they cant live without it, he or she. Firstly i would like to talk about drug addiction. Mostly people start doing drugs when their lives get realy hard and they think theres nothing left anymore to live for or thanks to bad

Summary I made my presentation about infotechnology usage in motorsport. I chose this topic because I am an infotechnology student and also I have been rally driver since 2009. I believed this could be interesting topic for others to hear because you can’t really find much information about the technologies used in different motorsport disciplines from the Internet but you can learn about them usually when somebody tells you about those technologies. Because I’m a rally driver and I know most about rallying I focused on rally and in addition talked little bit about Formula One and also about simulators. Most of the information I used to make this presentation was based on my personal experience. In addition, I found some
Class essay. Music is the Universal Language. Music is everywhere around us.. it is in the wind when it blows.. birds, who are loudly screaming now. The noise of cars.. the noise of humans, expecialli their laughing makes me a little happier everytime when I hear it. There're such beautiful voices. Sometimes we just must stand quiet in center on those voices, and catch their message. Music tells us stories wich were never known. Nowadays young people hear music on MP3. They're like in their own reality. Yes it's great to feel that, but a little bit strange, because when somebody wants to ask something at the bus stop, they can't hear anything. Thats sad. I listen to my iPod too, but sometimes it disturbes me, and then I

In the third stanza we are explained how the Bell came to be there, where it now stands. The Abbot of Aberbrothok put it there, on a buoy near the Rock to warn ships of the hidden danger. During a storm the buoy swings and the Bell rings, by doing so, alerts the ships of nearby peril. The fourth stanza is pretty much the same as the third one, just written in different words. It says that although the Rock is hidden beneath the waves, sailors are able to hear the warning bell, can avoid the Inchcape Rock and thank the Abbot of Aberbrothok for putting the bell there. With the fifth stanza, we turn back to the beginning, repeating the first stanza, in a slightly different manner. The location is described it is a sunny day, everything seems to be joyful and 1 lovely. The seabirds are screaming with joy, as they are flying high in the sky. The only thing worth
From: Gerton Korsten Sent: 3th April Subject: Re: New job I´m very glad to hear that you got a job that you wanted. It´s good to hear that you´re doing well and that your financial stats are improving. The experience will come, you just have to work hard and be positive. Just do things you are suppose do and you will be fine, trust me and if you must ask questions just be straight and nothing more or less. You have to tell me more about the job and what will you do there. I would like to know everything about the job and how you are doing there. Especially you have to tell me about your first day at your job.
annoying. It surprised me because your advertisement said that you have private bathrooms. Furthermore, the food in the restaurant was horrible. It was cold and tasted awfully. I had to wait for two hours for the waitress to bring me my meal. It was really unpleasant and unlike the "5 star restaurant" you advertised. I am very disappointed indeed. I would like a full refund for the cost of my cruise as well as an apology for the appalling conditions. I hope to hear to hear from you regarding this matter as soon as possible. Yours faithfully, John Smith
Dear Tom, It was nice to hear from you and you asked me to write about religious holidays that are celebrated in my country. I will talk about Easter and Christmas celebrations. Easter is a moveable feast, meaning it is not fixed in relation to the civil calendar. The date of Easter therefore varies between March 22 and April 25. Originally only Christians celebrated Easter. According to Christians, Jesus was resurrected from the dead that day. Newer elements such as the Easter Bunny and Easter egg have become part of the holiday's modern celebrations, and those aspects are often celebrated by many Christians and non-Christians alike. There are also some Christian denominations who do not celebrate Easter. Other religious holiday is Christmas. It's one of the most popular festivals of Christian community celebrated all over the world. According to Christians it's the day when Jesus was born. Christmas is held on December 25 in mo...

Dear Meg Thanks a lot for your letter. It was so interesting to hear about English traditions. I wrote about an Estonian holiday. Halloween, or Hallowe'en, is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31.Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses" and carving jack-o-lanterns. The term Halloweenis shortened from All-hallow-even, as it is the eve of "All Hallows' Day", which is now also known as All Saints' Day. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North

can read e-books online. Reading is not only fun and entertaining but it also improves your writing skill. From books we can learn many new words and write better essays in school. It really improves language and I don't mean foreign language but also native language. We can learn many new ways of saying things and so we can make our writing and talking much colorful by variety of words. I think that is very important for us to learn new words because if we hear them from news, tv, radio or read them from newspaper, magazine we know the meaning of the word. Knowing variety of words also shows our intelligence. Reading in foreign language is the one of the best ways to learn another language. For example, if someone goes to England or America they hear the language, but the words sound much different than they are written. That's why reading in another language is very important. The reader sees how the words are written

Try, ,,Kaido, put your shoes on the rack," rather tan ,,Do not put your shoes on the floor." Every cildren needs some time for answering, not every brain is fast thinking. It sometimes need only few seconds more to wait child answer. Every sentence what you say to your siblings has to be simple. You can not say ," Kuldar, take your shoes off, brush your tooths ,wash your face and clean your room and come hear," it is better when you say ,,Kuldar , take your shoes off , wash your tooths and face and then come hear." languages. Due to the fact that both of my parents are Estonians , my mother tongue is Estonian, therefore I can speak and write in it very fluently. I also prefer read the books in Estonian. I know that some people like to do it in some other languages, in English for instance. I am really amused by the Estonian literature. I like to read books and stories from Andrus Kivirähk and F.R. Kreutzwald. English is one of the world most spoken language. You can hear it everywhere, no matter which part of the world are you in. In the third grade of elementary scool I started to learn English as a second language so since then i have learned it for nine years and i have reached the level of B2, like all the poeple in Estonia who have finished the high school. For me another helpful nuance in learning English were Hollywood movies and Cartoon Networks Channel. I learned the first basic words and sentences from the cartoons. In

Zuckerberg is shown as a bastard and Savarin with a broken heart and betrayed by his best friend. In the reality, Savarin did his own mistakes which lead to the consequences and also it is not fair to Zuckerberg, that many people now think that the founder of our favorite website is an arrogant, self- centered fool. But this is the only negative aspect of the film. The amount of real material was just a little bit too poor for me. In conclusion, this is definitely a movie we will hear about for a long time. It has its advantages for grabbing a vast majority of people with the joy of recognizing and even the critics will not let go the chance to experience the invention of this genius website and the creativity of a so called "ordinary" Harvard student. Facebook has become a part of our everyday life. This is something we could not have imagined even one year ago. I remember when my sister made an account on Facebook in the end of 2006 or in the beginning of 2007

3 March 2012 Dear Jane, How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while. I am writing to tell you about my recent health problem I had food poisoning. I got it when I visited Mexico. I ate something that probably caused it. I am not really sure what it was. I had to drink plenty of fluids and rest a lot. I was down with that poisioning for two days. On the third day I could finally turn back to my normal life and start eating again. That poisoning was very terrible. I felt extremely bad and mostly I was sad about ruining my vacation. For at least two days I couldn't enjoy Mexico. That is all for now. Let me know if your health is okay. I hope I'll hear from you soon. Love, Mari
The product I am talking about is an iPhone. Firstly, I would like to point out that the most annoying things are that the screen colour is totally wrong and I am unable to receive any new messages. Secondly, I have to say that the on/off switch gets stuck almost daily, so I can not use my phone like I should be able to use it. Thirdly, I have encountered some problems with the sound and also with the camera. That means the camera will not focus and I can not hear any ringtone at all. I hope that you will come up with a reasonable soultion. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely, Mati Mets

I would also like to know when exactly and for how long is the duration of the camp. As I wish the best for my children I would like to know more about the team leaders. Do they have enough experience with children and what are their qualifications? In addition I would like to know how much does it cost and what time does it have to be paid for. I am looking forward to sending my children to this camp as they seem very interested in it too. Thank you for your kind attention. I hope to hear from you soon. Yours faithfully, Anne Richards

30/03/2009 Dear Mr Friedberg, I am writing to complain about the last three movies you made: "Disaster Movie", "Meet the Spartans" and "Disaster Movie". I recently saw all of them but unfortunately they are really bad. In the first place you promise that your movies are very funny, but they don´t. The jokes are just lame. Only 5th graders would laugh when they hear the jokes. I know that these movies are meant to be parodys but you should show more respect to the original movies. In addition to that the acting is very poor. You should have hired some well know actors. Maybe they would have saved the movies. Also the movies had lots of mistakes in them. For example the positions of furniture changed in several frames. The mistakes could have been avoided when you had edited the movie more carefully.
Dear John, Thank you for your letter. It was very interesting to get to know more about British Christmas and the traditions related to it, but now I would like to write about how we celebrate Christmas in Estonia. Usually we start to prepare for Christmas four weeks before it, by putting out advent candles. Each week we light one, till by Christmas it's four of those. On Christmas Eve we usually go to cemetery, where we light candles and also go to church to hear Christmas service and where well known Christmas songs are sung. After that we go home, to eat traditionally sauerkraut with potatoes and blood sausage and also roast pork or brawn. Earlier we have baked and decorated gingerbreads. Then soon Santa Claus comes with a bag full of presents. We all have to read poems or sing songs to get a present. Usually by that time it is very late already and we go to sleep to rest. On next day we visit our relatives and parents or grandparents.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of living forever? Scientists believe that in 30 years we have a technology, that makes possible to live forever. Being immortal has its advantages and disadvantages, which you can't just look over. Living for decades or even eons, a person gets the chance to see his future generations. It gives an opportunity to see, how fast the world changes every day. I think most people, who hear about being immortal, think that it would be great. But if they think about it, then they realise that it also has its bad side. For example, you won't grow older of the age you started being immortal, and you will always have the same look, just as 30 or 50 years ago. All the memories from your childhood will vanish in time. A problem with population would come up in 20-30 years after making people immortal. The world is even now being overcrowded in many places, such as China and India
