The effect of modern technology on our everyday life
In the nowadays world, we are living in the era of advanced technology . Almost every activity that we do in our daily life is somehow connected with technology usage . It plays a major role not only in our lives , but also helped in development of various industries, changed education, entertainment. We can not measure this process and it`s impact on society, but one thing we can say for sure – technology has become part of pupils lives.
There are so many advantages connected with technology and how it affected our everyday life. To start with, development of mobile technology, computers and internet made life easier . We can find information in sites like Google in a couple of minutes instead of looking for required information in books for hours .
In the older times , writing a letter, sending and bringing to a required person took minimum a month; now this procedure happens within a minute , if people communicate using social networks . Also, social networks gave a chance to people to communicate with old friends , relatives and so on, who are far away from them . Of course, seeing them in real live is better than just seeing their messages or talking in Skype, but programs give feeling , that distance has no matter and loved one is near you. Even if he or she is at the other end of the world. Development of technologies gave new working places. Without computers where would be no such profession like computer science , web designer. Also, being an architect, engineer would be difficult without technology usage.
Technologies can be found in education, too. All materials are now available in internet or can be found in university sites. Now there is no need to go to lectures – students can see it online or watch recording. It is more easier to combine studies and work .
Technologies are used in banking – for transferring money or getting financial information; in agriculture –genetically engineered crops make farmers out puts bigger, because they can stand harsh conditions as well has survive pests and diseases .
Technology like automobiles, airplanes, speed boats, electronic trains have made movement so easy and cheap . Tickets are not so pricy, because there is variety of choices .
On the other hand, there are instances which show the problems with improved and advanced technologies. In older days we attended events and took care personal; now we are sending sms or giving a call on important occasion.
Children are becoming addicted to games , internet, social networks. They do not play together anymore like we used to do, then we were young. They do not know , how to communicate, because they saw only computers, laptops or mobile phones since they were little .
The aviation technology, automobiles and other vehicles, releasing unwanted green house gases into the environment, are creating serious environmental problems and pollution and some of them, health problems for their workers.
The more time people are spending engrossed in video games, talking to friends online and watching videos, they are spending less time being active or exercising. This lifestyle can bring to obesity, and it, in turn , can lead to serious health problems and even to death.
Technology has the negative effects on sleep habits. People do online activities that keep them up too late ; information stream , that passes through people`s brains, can make it difficult to turn off our brains and go to sleep.
Technology has both positive and negative sides. It is in our hands , how to use it. If we use it for positive things, it will have positive effect of our lives and vice versa, using it for negatiive things give negative effect. The developments should be in a positive way and they should not have any negative impact on present or future generations, because future is not technology – it is people.

It is because the communication is designed in such a way that it appeals to a larger demographic segment. The test of a good mass communication marketing drive is to see if it gets the people talking. If it does, then not only does it mean that the advertising drive has been successful, but the organization in charge of the mass communication is also getting publicity by the word-of-mouth channel! Mass Media Influence It is hard to argue with the fact that mass media has a compelling effect on the human mind. Especially on minds which are more impressionable. For example, the mass media influence on children is understandably higher than it is in adults. So how exactly does mass media influence us? Mass Media Influence on Youth There is a burgeoning need amongst the youth to be accepted as a part of a group, to be popular, to have friends and relationships with people of the opposite sex etc. Mass media experts understand this need of the people and hence they come out with

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The development of the space rockets took place during World War II. It was the Germans who built the first really big rockets, as a way of bombing Britain without needing to use aircraft. First the V1 was built and then later the V2 - a more powerful rocket which was able to carry a large warhead of explosives to Britain. After the war, the Soviet Union and the United States took German rocket technology back to their countries. The main motive was to build rockets to launch nuclear missiles. The idea of using military rockets to launch a satellite was really an afterthought. In the 1950s the Soviet Union and the USA invested large amounts of money in their new space programmes. On 4 October 1957, an announcement by the Soviet Union took the world by surprise. `Sputnik', the first artificial satellite, which literally means "travelling companion" had been launched and

Informational technology is most commonly used to talk about computers and computer networks but it also includes other information sorces such as television and telephones. Electronic computers began to appear in the early 1940's. The origins of the internet are from the 1960's. Over a third of the human's population have used the services of the internet. But what about the other two thirds? Is is better for them to have not been able to use this huge network, or is it a bad thing?

Imagine trying to learn to draw from listening to a lecture. You must draw, draw, draw, and with time and tutoring, will improve. This is a truism, just like saying "reading is valuable." I imagine nobody complains about children spending too much time working. If anything the contrary complaint rings loudly. What I don't begin to know is the ideal breakdown, according to age, of reading, listening to instruction, and working or hands-on time. What about technology in excess? Before the age of printing and cheap paper, comparatively few people could become learned. Now, theoretically, our electronic age makes learning easier than ever. Well, technology is indisputably better. We can store and retrieve data much more efficiently. We can communicate in a flash. But still, at the basic level, we must be well grounded -- we must possess common sense, civil manners, frank discussion skills, reasoning abilities, and moral fiber

Social media Humans have always felt the need to socialize. Constantly. From the early ages to the signs and speech, from letters to telegram, from phones to internet, need to communicate has become less of an hussle and more convenient and accessible. In our modern society social media usage is constantly rising. For example since January 2016 to January 2017 active social media users have increased by 21% and internet users have increased by 10%. Our every day life is internet connection, sharing information, expressing ideas, liking and disliking content. It helps us to feel connected to the world and mostly provides to information we need, or at least think we need. Social media has become

hallucinations. They concluded from this study that sensory deprivation triggered the release of serotonin, which actually altered the way the monks experienced the world. The application of such research has improved the lives of many people, because drugs have been developed stimulating or blocking certain neurotransmitters. Psychologists however, consider the role of neurotransmitters on behavior, but do not solely rely on it to explain behavior. Brain technology has developed rapidly during the past century and is now used extensively in neuropsychology because it provides an opportunity to study the active brain. EEG Prints out brainwaves, registers patterns of voltage change in the brain. PET scan monitors radioactive glucose metabolism in brain. Produces colored maps of brain activity. Can record ongoing activity. fMRI provides 3D pictures of the brain structures, using magnetic fields and radio waves. It shows actual brain

He actually read it, and then he bought it for our whole team/department/company!” (I love that story.) People keep telling me that they got their job thanks in part to reading it or that it influenced their choice of a career. 2 2 I’menormouslypleasedandflattered, butIhavetoadmitthere’salwaysapartofmethat’sthinking“Yikes !Ihopeshewasn’tmeanttobeabrainsurgeon.WhathaveIdone?” But I know that eventually the aging effect is going to keep people from reading it, for the same reason that it was so hard to get my son to watch black and white movies when he was young, no matter how good they were. Clearly, it’s time for new examples. #2. The world has changed To say that computers and the Internet and the way we use them have changed a lot lately is putting it mildly. Very mildly. The landscape has changed in three ways: Technologygot its hands on some steroids. In 2000, we were using

around and encrypting the valuable data within its core, in addition to logging and honeypot detection. It can become quite a difficult task considering the evergrowing amounts of data, as we are talking of petabytes of data already. Data storage and retention is the most obvious risk associated with big data. When data gets accumulated at such a rapid pace and in such huge volumes, the first concern is its storage. Traditional data storage methods and technology are just not enough to store big data and retain it well. Enterprises today need a shift to cloud-based data storage solutions to store, archive and access big data effectively. [21] Storing high quantities of data doesn't come cheap. Small and medium-sized businesses are struggling to afford the initial set up, migration, but when the overhauling cost is taken care of, then big data acts as an incredible revenue generator for digital enterprises [21].
