Some people say that schools should not offer meals for pupils In city schools are the meals pointless because there can children they own food with him or buy it some place nearby. Traditionally, at the age of 14 students start a programme that lasts for 2 years and during which time they study up to 11 subjects of their choice. The difference of Estonia and France schools

In France the schools are very different with Estonian ones. Now im going to talk about the differences abot the Estonian schools and France schools. The school In France In France I did went to school named Therese Davila. This school is one of the best schools in North of France. This school was only for the age 11- 16 years old. This school was an elitcschool. In this school you have to have a good level to study in this school. This school was pretty big, there were 700 pupils. The school starts at 8 am and it finishes in 17:35. In my school one lesson lasts about 55 minutes and every break is in 2h. The break is 10 minutes. In my school there were 7 parallel classes. In one class you have around 30 pupils. The lunch break is 1h and 30 minutes. You can eat in school or outside ex (home). For the lunch tou had to pay, but the lunch was very good. The hardest thing in this school was the homework, beacause we had very much homeworks for everyday.

The Good Schools Guide says of the school: "For the right boy or girl, simply the best," also mentioning ( nimetama ) that the atmosphere is "famously relaxed and liberal as has been felt appropriate in a school which thrives ( edenema ) on the individuality of its members." To balance the academic pursuits of the pupils, a wide and varying number of activities are offered to all pupils. Sports are a key activity at Westminster, as are Art, Drama and Music. Essay: What Makes a Good Teacher

have. It is commonly accepted that teaching is often extremely difficult and stressful because pupils can sometimes give the tutor a hard time. Only the tough ones survive. I reckon it all comes down to the circumstance whether the teacher loves her job or does she do it just for the salary. If she only does it for money, the children will not take her seriously. She should also have a vast knowledge of her subject. Otherwise, it is really difficult for the attentive and eager pupils to get answers to their questions.Another important quality is humour. I believe that helps to make picking up knowledge much easier and more fun. Children always prefer teachers with a good sense of humour. However, tutors should be a litte strict otherwise the class will not behave. Furthermore, the relationship between a student and a tutor should be formal but friendly. That is why co-operation is very significant and necessary. Dealing with misbehaving and

books, which give guidances how to use art in teaching religious education. One of the best and oldest is book ,,The Use of Art in Religious Education" by Albert Bailey in 1922. There are also many newer approaches for example, ,,Christianity through Art: A resource for teaching Religious Education through Art" by Margaret Cooling in 2009. The field of books to use Art in RE is various. Allthough useing this method we shoud consider our own cultural backround to adjust it for our pupils. One of the mentioned resources Margater Cooling´s book ,,Christianity through Art: A resource for teaching Religious Education through Art" seems to be a very useful source for RE teachers, who would like to use art as a method. Her book offers 24 large colour prints of a variety of works of art in different media (painting, sculpture, engraved glass, woven cloth, etc.), which have been chosen to reflect the global nature of Christianity. The children develop their basic faculties, improve their speaking skills and are introduced to the world of reading and writing, numbers and other key areas of learning. From age 6 to 11, the children attend elementary school which is mixed and freein the case of public (state) schools. The 'collège' accepts all pupils after elementary school without the need to pass an entrance exam. The teaching is structured by subject: French, mathematics, history-geography, 'civics' or civil education, biology and earth sciences, technology, art, music, PE, physics-chemistry. The objectives are fixed by national programmes. After the 'collège', pupils continue their education in a general and technological 'lycée' or a professional 'lycée'. The effect of modern technology on our everyday life

In the nowadays world, we are living in the era of advanced technology. Almost every activity that we do in our daily life is somehow connected with technology usage. It plays a major role not only in our lives, but also helped in development of various industries, changed education, entertainment. We can not measure this process and it`s impact on society, but one thing we can say for sure – technology has become part of pupils lives. There are so many advantages connected with technology and how it affected our everyday life. To start with, development of mobile technology, computers and internet made life easier. Comparison of Education in Britain and Estonia

When looking into the educational systems of Britain and Estonia, several differences appear. In this essay I am going to point out some of the most distinguish features in the education of both countries. Firstly, there are dissimilarities in the age at which children go to school. In Estonia the age is 7 whereas in Britain children start their educational journey already as young as 5 years old. Primary school lasts 6 years just like in Estonia but the pupils in Britain are 2 years younger when they finish primary school than the pupils in Estonia. However, students in Britain and Estonia finish secondary school at the same age because secondary school lasts 5 years in Britain instead of 3 like it is in Estonia. Altogether, compulsory school in Britain lasts 11 years which is 2 years more than in Estonia. Moreover, there are slight differences as for the compulsory subjects taught in the first three years of secondary school in Britain and Estonia

My ideal school

My ideal school I am sure everyone has their own idea of what an ideal school is.It is a place where you can feel comfortable to learn in. My ideal school would be situated in the middle of a city so it is near to shops, cinemas and theatres. Around the school would create running tracks, football places and facilities for every sport you could think of. There would also be a huge park for the pupils and public to enjoy together. Each classroom would be fitted with the most modern computers. Only twenty pupils would be in a lesson at one time so that the teachers could pay attention to each pupil. White boards and projectors would be available in every classroom. In my ideal school students would have large amount of technology. I would love for all students to have use the iPads. I think if students get to use something like the iPad it allows students to do work with a fun

The Estonian Education System

The current Estonian education system consists of pre-school education, basic education, general secondary education, vocational education and higher education. Basic education is the compulsory education minimum, whics is provided by basic schools. Estonian law requires all children to be in full-time education from age of seven. In Estonia the National Curriculum is compulsory for all schools. The academic year begin on the first of September and is divided into four terms. So pupils have four holidays: a week in October, two weeks at Christmas, a week in March and three months in summer. Most Estonian children receive free education in state schools. School uniform is not compulsory. At the end of basic school pupils take three exams and at the end of twelfth form pupil take five exams. On completion of basic education, studies may be continue in a general secondary school or in a vocational institution.

Proposal

Proposal I think our school lunch breakbrake system has gone out of control. There are too many people eating at the same time and canteen workers have to rush all the time, because everyone has to have food on their table. Many people have already stopped eating in the canteen and are buying snacks, hamburgers and Ffrench fries, which has a negative effect on pupils weight and healthiness. School should be the first place for students, where to go eating. We have to wait in the line for 10 minutes and then we have only 10 minutes for eating and together with having no space while having a lunch it makes a big chaos. Even our school chefs have asked us to talk with our teachers to make it reasonable and convenient for everybody. Students and also school canteen workers feel, like they don't have a say in school affairs. As

The Integration of subjects

The Integration of subjects The present-day school system revolves around traditional education, in which students learn each subject individually. This structure means that pupils don’t have the capability or know-how to connect math, biology or even art into their daily life. Even though the tutors of this conventional education have faith in the arrangement of subjects it is still entirely about high test scores, grades and graduation. The essence of progressive, alternative education like the integration of subjects is learning and the accumulation of valuable knowledge & skill.

What are the responsibilities of and challanges to the Freedom of speech in the 21st century

Words can make World a better place or even destroy it. By words we can affect the World. Because of that, we have to be very careful by using them. Using words wrong , we can hurt very many people and ourselves too. When we use wrong words at the wrong time, we can hurt somebody very bad. We can insult people or make them suffer. And this can bay back very hard. For example the event what took place in Kauhajaki school, where one young guy named Juhani Saari, who killed very many his fellow pupils and himself too. This disaster took place because other pupils taunted and japed him. Religion is in the 21st century very disunited. This makes society acceptive to every little suasions. At the same point education is very easy to get. And when some malevolent human studyes psychology, can he or she manipulate whit other humans and that way he or she can create his or her new religion. And the end of this religion could be very tragic and it could

Freedom of speech

But I am not an only student who have had problems or difficulties at school. On example I can bring one Estonian literature work "Kevade" and it's author Was Oskar Luts. He discripted in his own book a one class young students and events, what were between them. He was talking about tidy students who discharged them school duty. Here I can call a character from the book. Her name is Teele, she was a tidy and polite pupil. Oskas Luts discripted in his book a bad students and pupils who did not allowed to the rules. I can remember from book Kiir and Imelik, who often fell into troubles and breaked the rules. They liked to say their word everywhere but as I explained before, this is verboten at school. After that they had a lot of problems with teachers. Like every school life still there are a good and a bad pupils and also intermediated. But all they have a limited freedom of speech.

School libraries are part of the education system. It supports the curriculum as it helps the teachers and pupils to prepare for the lesson. Pupils can read extra materials there about the subjects they like. Everyone doesn't have a computer neither good encyclopedias at home so they can get the required information needed for their homework from the books or from the Internet. “ Government fails to serve up free school meals for all “

1. " Government fails to serve up free school meals for all " from http://www.timesonline.co.uk 2. The article is about Scottish government who has failed to achieve it's goal of extending free school meals to all children in the first three years of education. This healthy meal serving is now extended because of the tight public finances caused by the economic slump. There's mentioned that at the moment government can only offer a healthy lunch for 20% of the pupils in Scotland. 3. This topic is interesting because now I can compare my school lunch with Scottish meals. Here we have it for free until the end of the primary school. It's also interesting to read how are they handling with this economic crisis. 4. reluctance vastumeelsus, magnetiline takistus provision säte, lepingutingimus acute, akuutne, terav 5. Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow

Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow? People name school the school of life. But may they affirm that? On the one hand, school period is time of growing up and forming of a human`s personality. A child gets know how to get on with people, how to communicate and makes his or her mind up about many questions with help of classmates and teachers. On the other hand, it depends on school. Tutors of some schools focus only on education. They don`t care of the discipline and pupils` behaviour at all. Probably such school-leavers have only several opportunities for the future to become criminals, join local gangs or to control themselves and to do their best in studies. Such schools may be really named the schools of life because children studying there are forced to grow up earlier than others. Furthermore, present youngsters spend a great deal of their spare time sitting in Internet. They communicate, s...

Some lessons may not like for pupils. For example, students have to learn foreign languages, be in a choir or do psychical educaion even if they do not like it at all. However, should there be compulsory subjects or should there be not? On the one hand, students do not work hard if they are not interested in the subject. Then they just waste their time doing nothing important. Also, if there are the subjects the student wants then there is no more undone homework, distracting or undiscipline. The Estonian educational system does not differentiate between primary and lower secondary education. Almost all schools are public. There are three religious schools. The amount of private schools is quite small. Some private schools are partly funded by the state. Education becomes compulsory when a pupil turns seven until he or she has reached the age of seventeen or has graduated (usually most of the graduates are 15 or 16 year old). After satisfactory completion of basic education the pupils are obtain the Basic School Leaving Certificate and are to continue their education in gymnasium or vocational education institutions. An Essay

An Essay There are many different education systems in the world. Basics are pretty much the same, but ofcourse depending of the culture, the differences and interests of educating people, are big. Children go to school at age five in Great Britain, which is too early in my opinion. Most children in Estonia start school at age seven, only some of them at age six. I think starting with school and competition, rivalry, witch always associates with schooling, too young, shortens the childhood and may affect negatively self-esteem, success and coping in the future. Children´s job is to play, it develops child the best, so I think anyone shouldn't forbit humans inherent needs. Children don´t have to become too fast to an adult. The high school in Great Britain starts at age eleven, but in Estonia at about age fifteen. Biggest difference is that in Great Britain they prepare young people to get a job ...

Robert Burns

His greatest wish was to give his children the best education in his power. It was from him where Robert received his love of books. When Robert was six he and his brother Gilbert went to school, but only after a few months the teacher left and the school was closed. Their father persuaded two or three neighburs to join him in engaging another teacher. The new teacher was called John Murdoch. Although he was only eighteen, he was a very clever teacher. Robert interested him more than other pupils. When Robert´s father decided to try his hand at farming their family moved. John Murdoch stayed with the family and continued teaching the boys for two more years. On the other hand Robert´s teachers were folk songs and ballads of his country. He knew a great number of them by heart. These years Robert read any book he could get. At the age of thirteen Robert had to take over most of the work on the famr because his father was growing old and weak. Those were hard times

luLUGEMISHARJUMUSED TALLINNA REAALKOOLI ERI VANUSES ÕPILASTE SEAS

sarnased kogu Eestis. Kuigi Tallinna Reaalkooli õpilaste seas leitud protsentuaalsed, arvulised väärtused ei pruugi kehtida teiste koolide õpilaste hulgas, on selge, et just lugemisharjumuste muutumise kohta tehtud üldiseid järeldusi saab laiendada kogu Eesti õpilaskonnale. 58 SUMMARY The topic of this research project is "Reading Habits among Pupils of Various Age Groups in Tallinn Secondary Science School". The problem is very acute as nowadays pupils tend to spend more time using the Internet which leaves less time for reading. The main purpose of this research is to find out the connections between pupils' age and reading habits. To make broader conclusions, not only books, but also Internet-based media, newspapers and other periodicals are considered.

dogs and visit the New York Aquarium, which contains about 10 000 fish. The New York authorities encourage learning for people of all ages and run thousands of schools and collages. The city also provides private education. American children must complete 12 years of education. In New York City this lasts from the ages of 6 to 17. Children begin at elementary school, move on to middle school and finish at high school, where most gain a diploma. New York offers a variety of high schools for pupils who want to specialize from their teenage years, for example the School of the Performing Arts. New Yorkers seem to be always on the move. In Manhattan the pavements are full of pedestrians, while cars, buses and taxis jam the roads. Driving in central New York is only for the daring, so people often take one of the famous yellow taxis instead. There are about 12 000 of them in the city. Another way to get around overground is to take a bus. New

Truancy in school – individual responsibility

money they have to pay is smaller. But it is still wrong to fee the parents especially when dealing with the high school students. In conclusion I would like to say that truancy is the students' own responsibility and they should be completely responsible for their actions. Positive sides of outdoor learning

If we want to set the pattern of being active daily, we should involve outdoor education into our curriculum on a regular basis. Students practitioning outdoor education already in elementary school are more likely to be physically active and enjoy outdoors in their future life too. Outdoor education includes lots of teamwork and interaction between students, therefore it is an excellent way to get students socializing. All students need friends in school. Sometimes it is hard for some pupils to make friends and they need help. Doing teamwork in lessons are always a good way to get children communicating and making platforms for further friendships. In outdoor education students have the same goals they are reaching for and by respecting each other and working together, they can achieve them. Successfully accomplished common tasks will give students the feeling of team spirit and understanding that everybody is important.
