Story about English humor
At first , I have to say that English humor is very frightening and quite shocking for us, Estonians . But if to talk about British people and their humor then for them , it’s more than everyday life. It is something they are use to see and hear every day, day after another . They do not take it that serious as the other nationalities would and they are definitely the best laughers at themselves.
The brightest memory I have from those two videos is that guy in the wheelchair . Unbelievable how selfish and rude they are! And no-one can do anything about that. If they say so then all the people around them have to act like they wish . They are absolutely innocently taking the advantage of other innocent people. Certainly we cannot talk about all disabled people from that point of view, but the exception affirms the rule . And in Britain , you can find a lot of exceptions .
The second thing which also amused me was the humiliation of other people for unjustified reasons. The scene of a transsexual lady , feeling sick and puking in the teacup was a perfect example of humiliation in nowadays just in different context . It is a real problematic topic every single country and it only gets worse . Actually it is quite sad that people are only laughing at it, ignoring the problem whether they see it or not. But as to look from the other side then it is good that even if people haven’t noticed it yet, then maybe the problem comes out from making fun of it? Maybe NOW people really notice that, yes, we have a problem here . And maybe that forces people to find solutions. But that’s only my imaginary.
The third thing which caught my attention was the scene where a disabled lady named Ann was working in the library, trying to help people and lend out the books . I find it absolutely ridiculous that people who cannot think right and are not capable to work in such a public places have to have all the same rights that normal people have. And also do the same things as the normal people can do. Every one of us sees that it is quite inconceivable. But my opinion does not count , life will still be the same.
As a matter of fact I have to say that just watching the videos for fun and entertainment, then they completed their task . But if to take better look “inside” that fun, then it is quite frustrating . Let’s just hope that life in Britain will change someday and the laughter will teach them how to live their life right.

THE CAPITALIST NIGER

I have made what I believe is my own major contribution to the debate on the state of the Black Race. Whether you agree with me or not is immaterial. The only important point is that we must stop the blame game and accept responsibility for the present state of the Black Race. Truth shall set you free, it has set me free. RAPE OF A RACE Let’s take slavery for instance. We attribute everything that has happened to the Black race to slavery. We delude ourselves about African Kingdoms which had thrived before the onslaught of first the Arabs, and later the Caucasians. We talk about the Pyramids of Egypt, the great empire of Mali and the learning capital of Timbuktu. Yes, I am constrained to agree that these were great legacies that our ancestors left us, but one cannot deny the fact that in the middle Passage of the 19th century we stopped functioning as a people with intelligence and the instinct to defend ourselves.

They say it's unimaginable, boring, tasteless, it's chips with everything and totally overcooked vegetables. The basic ingredients, when fresh, are so full of flavour that British haven't had to invent sauces to disguise their natural taste. What can compare with fresh pees or new potatoes just boiled and served with butter? Why drown spring lamb in wine or cream and spices, when with just one or two herbs it is absolutely delicious? If you ask foreigners to name some typically English dishes, they will probably say "Fish and chips" then stop. It is disappointing, but true that, there is no tradition in England of eating in restaurants, because the food doesn't lend itself to such preparation. English cooking is found at home. So it is difficult to a good English restaurant with a reasonable prices. In most cities in Britain you'll find Indian, Chinese, French and Italian restaurants. In London you'll also find Indonesian, Mexican, Greek..

You hate him and reject him Because he tells home truths to all of you. 'Tis sin alone that moves his heart to anger, And heaven's interest is his only motive. DORINE Of course. But why, especially of late, Can he let nobody come near the house? Is heaven offended at a civil call That he should make so great a fuss about it? I'll tell you, if you like, just what I think; (Pointing to Elmire) Upon my word, he's jealous of our mistress. MADAME PERNELLE You hold your tongue, and think what you are saying. He's not alone in censuring these visits; The turmoil that attends your sort of people, Their carriages forever at the door, And all their noisy footmen, flocked together, Annoy the neighbourhood, and raise a scandal. I'd gladly think there's nothing really wrong; But it makes talk; and that's not as it should be

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:17 PREFACE I'd never given much thought to how I would die -- though I'd had reason enough in the last few months -- but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. I stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at me.
