„The Princess Diaries“

I read the first 20 pages of the novel „ The Princess Diaries.“ The main character , Mia Thermopolis, didn't get along with her mother so well. So, her mother advised her to start writing a diary . Thats how the book started . Mia thaught that she was a freak, because she was flat chested although she was the biggest girl in her class , and she was a freshman. She had another problem, her mother was going to go out with her Algebra teacher , Mr. Gianini. Mia hated her because she was failing maths. Mia's best friend is Lilly and they talk about almost everything. Mia was also falling for a guy called Josh Richter who was a senior , he was also going out with Lana Weinberger, who was a mean , although a beautiful person .
Mia hated the fact that her mother was going on a date with her Algebra teacher. One day, Mia came home from school and noticed that her mother had made pasta for dinner . Mia couldn't believe what she saw. Usually Mia's mother doesn't do anything for dinner and they order chinese food or something . As I said, Mia hated the fact that Mr. Gianini was into her mom. She also thought wether they were going to kiss on the first date or not.
The next day, Mia told Lilly about Mr. Gianini and her mother and Lilly's older brother Michael overheard the conversation . Thankfully, Michael promised he won't tell anyone that her mom was dating with the algebra teacher. One day, the date happened , Mia tried to stay up at night until her mom comes home, so she can ask about whether Mr. Gianini put his tongue into her mothers mouth. She was so tired and it was so late , that she went to sleep . The next morning , Mia woke up and saw that her mother was already up and making breakfast , it was another huge thing for Mia, because usually her mom gets up later than her. So, they talked about the date. Everything had gone well, and when Mia asked about the kissing part , her mom blushed. Mia was happy that the date went well and that her mother was so happy, but that ment , that Mr. Gianini and Mia's mom would go on another date.
