What are the Estonians like?

What are the Estonians like? Estonia is a very small country, therefore its population is quite small. We, Estonians, are very friendly and care about each other. When our country is going through rough times , we stick together and try to go through them as one . There aren't many riots in our country, because we aren't violent people. We like to stay quiet, so only a few of us have the courage to say their opinion out loud. Estonians have quite good manners. We say hi to each other and we often say sorry, even if our acts aren't so bad. There are also many gentlemen in Estonia, who open doors for women and make a lot of compliments. I really like that, because one opened door or one little compliment can make your mood for the entire day. Our country has four seasons and every season changes our mood. In summer and winter

Letter, Dear Frank

Dear Frank, I’m very glad of your visit to Estonia in this July. I have planned many things we can do while you are here, so this week will be great. Unfortunately, my grandmother got seriously ill and has to stay with my family for this summer and because of that you cannot stay at my place. However, Mari has a spare room for whole summer where you can stay at the time while you are in Estonia. Mari is my friend from childhood and she is great, I’m sure you two will get along just well. Waiting forward to see you again, Tiiu

Complaint letter

Dear Sir, My name is ... I am writing this letter following my stay at your hotel, Hotel Titanic. I stayed in room 603 from September 3rd to September 10th. I am wiriting becouse of the poor level of service and overall an unpleasant experience. When I first got to the hotel, I had to wait for 15 minutes in the reception before a young woman came, and helped us book in. Throughout my stay I was served mediocre food. The bathroom wasen't cleaned properly and the room servise was pretty bad. The room servise rearly changed my bed sheets and towels. There were 6 power-cuts wich each lasted for atleast 2 minutes. Worse still, I had an extremly noisy neighbour who was entertaining his visitors until 4 AM, two nights in a row. I even complained to the manager but that didn't impove the situation until the third day.

tourists residing in the hotel. This may imply that the most business people staying in the hotel are men. The women occupancy seems to peak at three points: April, October and December. The latter is probably due to couples and families (influx of people aged under 20 is in December and October too) going on vacation for Christmas, New Year's Eve and other seasonal holidays. The length of the stay is the shortest in December, which may serve as further proof for the above theory of families coming in for the winter holidays. The average length of stay also tends to drop significantly as tourists gain in occupancy percentage, which may indicate that the location of the hotel is not very favourable to tourism business as the area can probably be explored quickly. The conventions seem to affect the average length of stay positively. This may be due to the

P.E in my life P.E is very important for all of us. It keeps us healthy and physically fit. I think that every person should do some sports to stay physically fit. If you do sport, you can run about 3 km without getting exhausted. If you don't to any sport, you get tired very quickly and gain a lot of weight. I think that to stay healthy, physically fit and feel good for itself every person should do some sport every day. After you do sport, you have a good feeling and you're happy that you did that. Do whatever - run, walk, play ball games, throw a ball and you do it yourself to feel better. There are P.E lessons in every school. That is good, because some people do not work out, outside the school and so they do at least some movement. In school we have two P.E lessons a week and that isn't enough

nutrients and oxygen to your muscles. You also need fluids, or your body will have a hard time performing at its best. Is there an ideal meal to eat before exercise? There's no one meal that you need to eat before working out. Instead, focus on these 5 things: Low fat Moderate in carbs and protein Low fiber Includes fluids Made up of familiar foods that you tolerate well A grilled chicken sandwich or a slice of cheese pizza might fit the pregame meal description, but stay clear of the fried food (including french fries), greasy burgers, and soft drinks. Why is it so important to drink plenty of liquids during exercise? Water acts as your body's cooling system. You don't want to get dehydrated. The best way to stay hydrated is to drink plenty of fluids with meals, and drink about 2 cups (16 ounces) of water 2 hours before exercise. Is it better to stay hydrated with sports drinks or plain water? Water is often enough

Love- your worst enemy?

It is quite natural. You can feel the connection between that person and yourself. On the other hand, loving someone outside your family is something very different. It can be very painful and yet that pain may be the best thing that had ever happened to you. Most of us start out as just friends and love comes later. Others fall in love at first sight. It takes a lot of courage to become more than friends. What happens if this doesn't work out? It is not that easy to stay friends after a bad break-up. There is one thing you must not be afraid of and that is heartache. Especially young people who are inexperienced and easy to become attached. It is said that you should not fall in love and become too fond of someone when you are young. It think that is wrong. You can not force your feelings down and nobody is too young to. Love does not have age limits. The key to being successful in love is not being afraid of making mistakes and taking risks

Are young people living in Estonia patriots of their homeland?

over the world, advertising and introducing it proudly. Furthermore, there are many young men and nowadays also women, who want to take part in time service, which is indispensable when crisis situation should brake forth, because those people are trained and prepared to fight for Estonia whenever it is necessary. They are ready to give their life for the freedom of their homeland. One the other hand, there are many young Estonians who want to go to study abroad and sometimes they stay there for the rest of their lives. They think that life is better compared to the contitions Estonia has to offer. Also, many young women are convinced that Estonian men are dolts and wusses and think that foreigners make much better husbands for them and better fathers of their children. So, this is the point where young Estonian men should step out for themselves and prove that this belief is not true. There is yet another a well-known saying

killed by larger predators like the lion and hyena. Up to 80% of the cubs are killed by lions. The cheetah compensates for this by having many offspring. For the cubs that survive, the life span is up to 12 years. Female cheetahs typically live alone and are not territorial. Males form coalitions of 2 to 4 members. This helps them defend territories for hunting and mating. Fierce fights can occur between rival coalitions as a result of a territorial dispute. Young cubs stay with their mother, who raises them by herself for the first 18 months. She then leaves the cubs, which stay together for about 6 more months before breaking up. Male siblings will stay together for life. Cheetahs do not roar like lions and tigers. Instead, they make chirping sounds and hiss when angered or threatened. When alarmed, they whine or growl. They purr loudly when content. They do not roar. The cats have a good sense of smell and

How to avoid colds?

pneumonia. There are a lot precautions to avoid colds, but not everyone pays attention to. The most common way to avoid them, is to dress according to the weather. When it is windy outside, people should wear something windproof, mostly in early spring and late autumn. In winter the dressing should be warm and layerd. Eating healthy food, doing sports and sleeping normally are also very important actions to stay healthy. Healthy food, for example, is different fruits, vegetables and non-fat soups and fries. Also it's very important to drink herbal teas and eat different berries, like bilberries and cranberries. Sport is neccessary to stay active because it strenghtens the immune system and illnesses do not attack that fast. Sleeping less weakens the immune system as much as wrong dressing and unheathly eating together. That is why it is important to sleep every night about 8 hours.

How to live healthy

Men should drink about 3 liters water a day, for women it's about 2 liters. Also, you should have enough sleep. If you are tired you eat more. Sleep is a key to a healthy lifestyle, and can benefit your heart, weight and mind. People who do regular activity have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer. Choose walking over transport for close distances and climb the stairs instead of taking the lift. When you enjoy the sports, you'll naturally want to do them. If you want to stay fit eat fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables contain many vitamins and minerals that are good for your health. Also you should stop eating fast food because many processed food contain a high amount of salt which leads to high blood pressure. Positive mental healthy is an important part of a healthy life. Tourism

Tourism For ages people have had a constant urge to travel different and new places. Today tourism is a global multi-billion industry and essential as an income for many countries. What are the pros and cons of it? Should we limit the flow of tourists or let them come and sometimes stay forever? As I mentioned before, one of the most positive thing about tourism is money. Basicly tourists creat jobs and give people a chance to do something with their lives. The money and taxes, that all the hotels and companys pay, help to develop the local community. Tourism is also a reason to keep the crime down and the streets clean of rubbish. As a tourist it is also a way to learn about other cultures. It is possible to go almost averywhere and to do almost everything.

Advantages and disadvantages of advertising

of goods mostly expand themselves and that may give job to thousands of people. Unfortunately there are some dark sides of advertising. Firstly, it uses children to increase its income and impressionable kids will make their parents life as hard as possible to get what they want, even if it is not necessary or healthy. Secondly, it encourages monopoly because big companies can afford advertising their products more so other products will stay in shadow. And finally, advertising is very expensive and the money that is spend on advertisements could have been used for charities for example. As we can see now, advertising does not have only the good side, but also the dark one. Still, no matter how many disadvantages we will find about it nothing will change. Advertising is here to stay and I think that we should focus on positive because noticing only negative will not lead us anywhere.

How does the United States influence Estonia?

How does the United States influence Estonia? The United States of America is one of the most influential countries in the world. Its’ influence can be seen even in Estonia. Estonian national security is built upon being a member of NATO and it is dependent on Article 5. Therefore, it is important for us to be in good political relations with America because it is the most influential member of the organization. To stay in good terms some of our political decisions might be affected by the United States, however, it will stay out of the public view. Although Estonia is not directly dependant on America economically but as the United States’ economy has an effect on the global economy, we are bound to be influenced indirectly. In the cultural aspect, Americanisation is taking spreading all over the world. In our everyday life, we are exposed to American culture because it is everywhere: music, films, food

Identity as a personal project

who is right about skipping lessons, his friends or his mother. This very common thing could influence characters´ future and his decision depends only on his choice, his thoughts and behaviour. What happens when characters´ identity is created? Then a person is free to go to “big world”, where his identity will develop inside a particular sociocultural space, with it´s own rules, processes and other people. In this space important is ability to be flexible, on the one side, and to stay individual on the other side. An identity should be strong and reflective to be able to change and to adapt. “Particular narrative going” Actually I like the metaphor, as I already mentioned, I think of an identity as a story and characters. I think every word in this metaphor means something special about self-identity. My own “narrative” consists of these three words “particular” “narrative” “going”.

Learn From Mistakes, Improve Your Intelligence

for a better future, to learn, to differ the wrong form the right. Now why do we bollocks up in the first place? The answer lies in you, yourself have to find out why did you fail and what can be learned from it. Frequent failing can cause sadness, depression and lack of motivation but it's not the way to go if you want to succeed in life and become a better you. It's better to understand your mistakes and learn from them to expand your knowledge rather to get everything right and stay on elementary level of problem solving. To fail or not to fail, that is the question. To everyone who state they've never felt failure, first of all, remember when you missed the bus or burnt a meal, tripped over something or got an F in school, they are all but backslides. Secondly if you've never failed you have yet been successful to learn anything in this life. My point is: it's better to fail than do everything right

How far can we go being tolerant?

are already children's books on "mummy's going under a knife"- a role model from early years onwards. And we tolerate these things blindfold, letting everything natural be succeed out of our life. Is this not a bit too overboard? For me, it is. To sum up, we have to face and tolerate many innovative ideas encouraged by the pursuit of personal freedom, but is it a reason enough to get so mixed up that we do not know who we are any more. I do not think so. I believe men should stay men and women should stay women. Traditional families as a model and not forget about being natural. Thanks for listening!

My dream vacation I would travel with a person who is similar to me, is in great shape,is interested in science and is durable. We would travel to u.s.a with a private jet and travel to nasa with a car. Then we would travel to space with a space rocket.we would go to a space station which is hovering 360 km above Earth.we would stay in space for one month because it is too expensive to travel between Earth and space.we would get around by flying in the space station because there is zero gravity in space. Car vs horse.

A horse dont need any fuel like cars, only food, water, and some vitamins. Horse does not emit toxic lead or carbon monoxide which can cause diseases on people and animals. But with horse you cant drive so fast and long distances like with car. Horse causes no traffic jam, he does not need to be managed traffic light since it travels with much slower speed and can stop faster than car. But of horse you must take more care than car. Car may stay in garage a long time, nothing happening with that, but horse often needs food and takeing more care.

Formal letter - about suicideterrorism lecture

Such information, which I did not yet know or have heard. I can use that information in our bibliographical and if lucky, the English language examination. Such lectures could be more, because terrorism is a situation which can be found in almost every country. Still the subject of terrorism, I would like to know more. I would like to know more precisely how to deal with situations if someone wants to commit suicide and kill others or have any advice on how to stay calm and help others. Or, how could help, who wants to organize a suicide. Your sincerely Karel Varik

Is football better than reading?

IS FOOTBALL BETTER THAN READING Everyone knows that sport and education are very important, but which one is better- football or reading? Gary Lineker said:" Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.." Football is quite important for all of us. This is a game of emotions, where everyone can show, who they are supporting. This is a team sport, where all 11 players are involved on every play. Reading is an entertainment, by which we slip, involuntarily, often helplessly, into another's skin, another's voice, another's soul. Reading is also very educating. In my opinion, football is a thousand times better. Playing football improves a team spirit and It also helps to stay fit. So my choice is definitely football.

Informal Letter Inglise keel

There are people I love and hobbies I enjoy. I should have had almost three dance lessons by now and the fact that I don’t get to dance with my partner for such a long time is really disturbing. I tried to dance on my own or with my sisters, but it’s not the same. It feels like I’m between some kind of war between my heart and mind. I’d like to go out and meet the ones I have been missing, but it would be so selfish of me. If I were you I’d stay indoors and avoid contact with others it really is a serious matter. Because of the prisonlike position I’m in, I’m often on the verge of crying and I feel like I can’t control my feelings anymore. Despite the insane amount of worry and stress I still hope that the virus slowly disappears and we all can go on with our regular lives. It would be great if the scientists would discover the cure and all the ill would get the treatment they need. But I don’t think it will
