Seven days

Seven days It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. I was still sleepy when I answered with a furious tone: ,,What is it? Do you even know what freaking time is it? It's 3 in the morning. Why aren't you sleeping?" Suddenly I heard a voice that told me: ,,Seven days!" and after that just beep beep beep. At first I thought it's just some stupid joke but I got frightened and I couldn't even get any sleep. I creeped downstairs looking after my shoulder from time to time because I had this feeling someone was watching me and when I looked after the window I saw someone standing in the dark alley. That seriously creeped me out

Fairy tale

Once upon a time there was a boy named Sebastian. He had a gorgeous mother, who was very kind and helpful, her name was Cassy. One late night an old woman came to their door. She was sick and dieing and she said: ''I know you are helpful. So I ask you, could you go Far Far Away and bring me green flowers? These flowers could help me to heal.'' Cassy agreed and said: ''I pack my suitcase tomorrow morning.'' Then she went to Sebastian and told him: ''I'm going to leave tomorrow morning and will be back after a week.'' Sebastian was in the bed and very sleepy, he couldn't understand and he thought this was just a dream, but in the morning he understood this was real. Cassy was already half way to Far Far Away when she reached ocean. At the beach she saw red bubbles shaped as big basketballs. Crossing beach made her journey much harder. Finally she reached Far Far Away. It was really snowy there

I will never forget the day

I will never fotget the day... I will never forget the day when i was in the country, at my grandmother's, i was listening to the sounds of nature. Everything was quiet, as if everything was standing still. There was a gentle breeze, and the sough in the branches made the morning almost perfect. You could hear birds from further away. I was alone. I had time to enjoy the moment. I was restless and couldn't stand still, so i got up and went to do my usual affairs. To this day i still think and wish i could sit outside early in the morning and listen to the nature. Time has passed by so much, that now i spend much of my free time at the computer, and do not fall asleep until 3 in the morning, and so i do not have the time to go outside in the early mornings.

Essay: online news and newspapers

can just get them for free or buy from internet E-books. And what´s main- newspapers are also disappearing, people read them online. Online news portals are eating newspapers out: they are comfortable, internet is accessible and fast and ofcourse, when something important happens on another side of the world, people can read information about it after 5-10 minutes, not like with newspapers, where information is available on the next day morning. I can say that, not like others, I prefer old-fashioned newspapers, because of the feeling what reading them offers. For example: fresh newspaper, which smells good on the table, morning coffee, turning pages and reading pleasure. Newspaper is exclusive. Only chosen ones can in the newspapers, space is limited and stupid comments below the articles are missing. Instead of these are readers letters, jokes and some famous person´s opinion.

The climate in Estonia

peninsula and southern coast of Alaska. However, due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf Stream, the weather in Estonia is considerably milder than the continental climate characteristic of the same latitude. The temperature in the summer months (June September) is typically 15ºC...18ºC and in winter 4ºC...5ºC. Estonian weather offers many surprises. Temperatures may fluctuate by 20ºC. In the early morning the thermometer might read 12ºC and by afternoon it may already be 10ºC. Although it doestn't always snow in winter, there tends to be about 10cm of snow on the ground consistently from late December through to the beginning of March. Often, at the end of October till the end of November, when it is quite cold there already, it hails. Hailstones are almost as big as pin's head. It very often sleets in winter because of too warm temperature. Snow melts before it reaches the ground

Every person should train each day

Many people are training every day and the other people just watch and ask ,,Isn't that bad?". Yes, there are negative things about that, but mostly it is because you work out too hard and then the good things fade away. The biggest positive thing about training is that your body looks good. You feel more comfortable in it when you know you've worked very hard to get it. Another good thing about training every day is that you feel more energized. Usually you wake up in the morning and feel very tired, but when you go on a daily run, it wakes you up and you feel a lot better during the day. Some people think that it is bad for your health to train daily, but I disagree. Studies have shown that people who train are more healthy and they don't get ill as often as other people. There might be few negative things when you train each day, but it's usually because people get too into it. You shouldn't train so hard that you overwhelm your body

I was shocked and didnt realise that they said yes. I was soo happy and exited . When arrived the importand day when we had to pick it up i couldnt sleep at night, thats how exited i was. In the morning we went to my friends house and chose the kitten we wanted. He was black with white dot under the chin and pawand because oh hes color we he got the name Musti. At first he was really shy and calm. But when he got compfortable he was the most energetic and annoying thing in the world. But i loved him anyway. Weather forecast

Millions of people tune into the weather forecast each evening on television. Most of them imagine that the presenter does little more than arrive at the studio a few minutes before the broadcast, read the weather, and then go home. In fact, this image is far from the truth. The two-minute bulletin which we all rely on when we need to know tomorrow's weather is the result of a hard day's work by the presenter, who is actually a highly-qualified meteorologist. Every morning after arriving at the TV studios, the first task of the day is to collect the latest data from the National Meteorological Office. This office provides up-to-the-minute information about weather conditions throughout the day, both in Britain and around the world. The information is very detailed and includes predictions, satellite and radar pictures, as well as more technical data. After gathering all the relevant material from this office, the

lawyers. The most famous of them was an old mr. TREVES .Mr TREVES eas close to eighty. He was member of the famous lawyer company. He knows the historical background to various more than anyone else in England. People said Mr. Treves ought to write his memoirs. Mr. TREVES knew better. He knew that he knew too much. He's opinion was always respected. The group who sat around the fireplace talked about the murder what had happened in the Old Bailey in the morning. They talked themselves out, little by little and then their eyes turned to mr. Treves. Then mr. Treves said a few wise words. He likes a good detective story, but they all start with the wrong place. They start with the murder. But murder is and should be at the end of the story. It should begin at long before, perhaps even years before that. the whole story should culminate to towards zero. The story continues in the 11th January. Angus MacWhirter wanted to commit suicide but he

Twitter news, Instagram news, is it weekend already or maybe somebody has texted me? After that there comes i-don’t-want-to-go-to-school whine and make-up After make-up there comes my-make-up came up so ugly whine. I will make a little stop over here now. Isn’t it already really funny? How much girls actually whine and specifically in the morning while they are really sleepy. You only try to disturb a girl in the morning. I can assure you, it will not end up well. Okey back to the point now. To cut it all short will eventually go to school through a lot of whining and pain in the ass talking. At school there are 2 options. They will be cheered up by her friends or they will keep whining until the night comes. IF she cheers a little up the rest of the day will come easier, but look out. Growing Methods Strawnberries growing location in planting bed should be 30,5 to 61 cm apart in rows that are 122 cm apart. The plants will produce side stems with daughter plants called runners. Writing and Me - An Essay

Writing and Me When I was younger I absolutely loved to read books and desperately yearned to be a writer. The idea of waking up in the morning and not having to go to work appealed to me, I imagined the life of a writer as something relaxed and effortless. If I were a writer I could sleep until noon if I wished to, take my morning coffee to the balcony, light a cigarette, let the sun lightly kiss my face and just write. About anything. And it would come naturally. Except it did not. Do you know the feeling after you wake up from a really good dream? When you are desperately clinging to it, trying to remember everything, but it all just floats away as if you were trying to catch smoke with your bare hands? That is what writing feels like to me. I used

Literary analyses of Beowulf

evil, whereas Grendel is a hideous, horrific, grim, fierce and merciless fiend who possesses no good qualities. With the description of Grendel the author actually describes Beowulf as well as he is always the absolute contrary to Grendel. We know that this is an Anglo-Saxon text because it has all the characteristic features of Anglo-Saxon literature. For example the metrical system is alliteration and it is used in abundance e.g. "Many at morning, as men have told me", "Folk-leaders faring from far and near", "By that bloody battle the boon had come" etc. Another characteristic is that there is no rhyme, but rhythm. This was very important in the Anglo-Saxon period as in the contemporary time the epic was performed by court singers. "Beowulf" was written with four beats to each line. The lines were divided into two parts, each with two beats. This is a natural place for a stop in a line of words and is called a caesura

History of Gillette Razors

History of Gillette Razors On November 15, 1904, patent was granted to King C. Gillette for a safety 'razor'. In 1895, after several years of considering and rejecting possible inventions, Gillette suddenly had a brilliant idea while shaving one morning. It was an entirely new razor and blade that flashed in his mind --a razor with a safe, inexpensive, and disposable blade. It took six years for Gillette's idea to evolve. During that time, technical experts told Gillette that it would be impossible to produce steel that was hard, thin, and inexpensive enough for commercial development of the disposable razor blade. Then in 1901, MIT graduate William Nickerson agreed to try. By 1903, he had succeeded.
