Another aspect is that when student is really into that organization it might distract them from schoolwork. It becomes more interesting and enjoyable than school. It is clear from the above that student organizations are beneficial for students. It is not compulsory for students so it is they own responsibility to fit organizations in their schedule.

Eesti Vabariik sai ÜRO liikmeks varsti pärast taasiseseisvumist 17. sept 1991. ÜROl on mitmeid allorganisatsioone: IBRD – Rahvusvaheline Rekonstruktsiooni- ja Arengupank IMF – Rahvusvaheline Valuutafond UNESCO – ÜRO Haridus-, Teadus- ja Kultuuriorganisatsioon UNICEF – ÜRO Lastefond WHO – Maailma Tervishoiuorganisatsioon jt 2) NATO – Põhja-Atlandi Lepingu Organisatsioon (ka: allianss) Inglise keeles North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Loodi 1949 kui sõjalis-poliitiline liit. Võrreldes külma sõja aastatega on eesmärk muutunud. Tänapäeval osaleb kriisikolletes, rahuvalvamises, konfliktide reguleerimises jne. NATOl pole oma sõjaväge, on liikmesriikide omad. Kui ilmneb tõeline sõjaoht, läheb juhtimine üle NATO väejuhatusele. Oluline on kollektiivse kaitse põhimõte – kallaletungi ühele liikmele käsitletakse kui kallaletungi kõigile (Washingtoni lepingu e NATO asutamisdokumendi artikkel 5)

26. juunil 1945 kirjutasid viiskümmend üks riiki San Fransiscos alla ÜRO põhikirjale. See jõustus 24. oktoobril 1945 pärast seda kui kõik Julgeolekunõukogu liikmed ja enamik ÜRO liikmeid olid põhikirja ratifitseerinud. Praeguseks on 193 riiki ühendav ülemaailmne organisatsioon, mille laia tegevusvaldkonda kuuluvad nii rahu- ja julgeoleku-, arengu- kui ka inimõigusküsimused. Eesti võeti Ühinenud Rahvaste Organisatsiooni - ÜRO (United Nations Organization) liikmeks 17. septembril 1991.
