Hot winds blowing from the Gulf of Mexico often bring hurricanes. The summers are warm and the winters are cold in the central part of the country. The rainfall is heavier on the western slopes of the Cordilleras, the eastern and the south-eastern parts of the country get a lot of rain too. It rains less in the area of the Great Plains. The western coast is much warmer than the eastern coast because of the influence of the Pacific Ocean. National Parks There are many national parks in the U.S.A and the oldest and the largest of them is Yellowstone. It was founded in 1872. It is situated in the western part of the country. It lies mainly in Wyoming. There are about 10,000 hot water springs and 300 geysers and a canyon in the park and an old forest where live buffalos (bisons), elks and deer, pumas, coyotes, grizzly bears and wolves. The most famous geyser is called Old Faithful. More

Report: Canada

Nature: Canada is also geologically active, having many earthquakes and potentially active volcanoes. The volcanic eruption of Tseax Cone in 1775 caused a catastrophic disaster, killing 2,000 Nisga'a people and the destruction of their village in the Nass River valley of northern British Columbia; the eruption produced a 22.5-kilometre (14.0 mi) lava flow, and according to legend of the Nisga'a people, it blocked the flow of the Nass River. As of 2008, there are 36 National Parks and six National Park Reserves.. The biggest natural parks are Banff National Park, Gros Morne National Park of Canada, Wood Buffalo National Park of Canada and Prince Edward Island. I will tell you more about Banff National Park: Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park, established in 1885 in the Rocky Mountains. The park, located 110-180 kilometres west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain,

It was an age of exploration and expansion abroad, while back at home, the Protestant Reformation became more acceptable to the people, most certainly after the Spanish Armada was repulsed. It was also the end of the period when England was a separate realm before its royal union with Scotland. Shakespeare- was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon". His surviving works, including some collaborations, consist of about 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and several other poems. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright 20. The Civil War - (16421651) was a series of armed conflicts and political machinations between Parliamentarians and Royalists. The first (164246) and second (164849) civil wars pitted

Through a system of separation powers, all three branches have some authority over the others and are equal. Federal government was given the powers and responsibilities to deal, that face the problems of a whole nation (foreign affairs, trade, control of the army and navy etc.). In addition, the powers of the federal government as a whole are limited by the Constitution. State governments have the power over the laws that aren't granted to the national government. These include education, crimes, family law and contract law. Like the national government, state governments have three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. The chief of the state is elected by governor, who typically holds for a four-year-term. The constitutions of the various states differ in some details, but generally follow the general laws. 1. Introduction If you had to use two words to describe Canada, they might be large and diverse. Canada is the second largest country in the world, bordered by three oceans, and across the country, Canadians experience many different landscapes from rolling plains and mountains to the cold tundra of the north. Despite Canada's great size, it is one of the world's most sparsely populated countries. This fact, coupled with the grandeur of the landscape, has been central to the sense of Canadian national identity. 2. Geographical position Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia. In the Arctic, Canada reaches almost as far north as Greenland. To the south it extends to the same latitude as southern France. The distance from Canada's west coast, the Pacific Ocean, to its east coast, the Atlantic Ocean, is farther than from North America to Europe. Canada's total land area includes thousands of adjacent islands, notably
