Estonian cuisine

Estonian cuisine The traditional cuisine of Estonia has substantially been based on meat and potatoes, and on fish in coastal and lakeside areas, but is influenced by many other cuisines by now. In the present day it includes a variety of international foods and dishes, with a number of contributions from the traditions of nearby countries. German, Scandinavian, Russian and other influences have played their part. The most typical foods in Estonia have been rye bread, pork, potatoes and dairy products. Estonian eating habits have historically been closely linked to the seasons. In terms of staples, Estonia belongs firmly to the beer, vodka, rye bread and pork "belt" of Europe. The Cold Table Flounder The first course in traditional Estonian cuisine is based on cold dishes - a selection of meats and sausages served with potato salad or Rosolje, an Estonian signature dishes based on beetroot, meat and herring

Japanese festivals

Japanese festivals Japanese festivals are traditional festive occasions. Some festivals have their roots in Chinese festivals but have undergone dramatic changes as they mixed with local customs. Some are so different that they do not even remotely resemble the original festival despite sharing the same name and date. There are also various local festivals (e.g. Tobata Gion) that are mostly unknown outside a given prefecture. It is commonly said that you will always find a festival somewhere in Japan.

British Youth (2) Most 18 and 19 year-olds in Britain are quite independent people. English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. They can leave home, drive a moped, marry with "parents' consent" buy beer. Age 17 can drive a car. Age 18 can vote, get married, drink in pubs. Education is a very important part in the life of British youth. One can't become an independent person without it. When time comes to enter a college a young Englishman chooses one far away from home. It is a necessary part of becoming adult. During the last 30 years there were a lot of different trends in youth movements. All of them were characterized by their own philosophy, way of life, style of dressing. Each

In the southern the climate ranges from warm temperate to cool temperate. Winter temperatures can be low but rarely freezing in the southern states. Australia is a land of droughts and floods. The droughts are caused by the EL Nino, a weather pattern which happens when the Southern Pacific Ocean heats up. This causes the wind direction to reserve. Instead of bringing moist air towards eastern Australia, the rain bearing clouds are blown away. An EL Nino occurs every four or five years causing droughts and bushfires. Droughts are often followed by floods. Plant Life A long time ago Australia was separated form other countries. This movement caused the difference of species, plants and animal form the other countrys. The water controls the type of vegetation in a country. Trivia · The sunflower is the state flower of the U.S. state of Kansas, and one of the city flowers of Kitakyushu, Japan. · The Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosa) is related to the sunflower. The Mexican sunflower is Tithonia rotundifolia. It is an economic doctrine I have christened the “Spider Web Doctrine,” because I believe we all understand how spiders behave. They build a web, and if an ant or fly dares enter the web, they are not allowed to come out. The spider closes its web. That is exactly how the Indians have employed the spider web doctrine to become a major economic force

about 60000 years ago. The first known Europeans to arrive in Australia were the Dutch. William Jaanzsoon tried to reach the East Indies, but landed in western Australia in 1611. The Dutch gave a poor account of Australia considering it to be and arid land inhabited by fierce savages. Abel Tasman was also a Dutch sailor and he discovered Tasmania. Captain James Cook discovered the fertile eastern coast in 1770 and had a more favourable outlook. He explored the coast and named some most important features, such as Botany Bay, for instance. Australia was called Terra Australis Incognita before 1770 and it means `southland'. After the disgraceful loss in the American War of Independence, Britain looked to establish new penal settlements to replace the North Atlantic colonies. The first fleet of 11 ships with 1500 aboard, half of them convicts, arrived at Botany Bay in January 1788. Sydney grew from that first British penal settlement.

Public International Law is a system of law

Public International Law is a system of law, different from domestic law. Why is this system unique? Usually law regulates relations between people, people and the state etc, PIL regulates relations between states. Thats why PIL is important for international relation students. PIL influences the life of everybody, it doesn't regulate people directly but indirectly (through the decisions of the states), because it's everywhere. It's like air. E.g. when you want to send a letter to Brazil, you put a stamp from your own country and send it from your post office and the letter gets delivered. Why is this so easy, because there are certain international conventions that regulate postal services. E.g
