Dmitri Martila ([email protected]) Latter affiliation: Tartu University (Dated: September 16, 2016) Abstract Is studied the possibility to replace the Dark Matter and the Dark Energy with the single Higgs Field (or fields). The study in close direction was made in arXiv:1603.06242, and in “The Higgs Boson May Disintegrate into Dark Matter” (the Google News). Just because the physics is physical, then the Higgs Field do exist, do exist throughout the spacetime, and even acts on curvature of the spacetime even in the cosmic void (the places without the baryonic matter). In case of the places with the baryonic matter the Higgs Field emits the
Tallinn University of Technology Faculty of Chemical and Materials Technology Department of Chemical Engineering Estonia ERASMUS PROJECT STUDY OF THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN A HELICAL COIL Supervisor: Albina Ribeiro Porto 2015 2 Abstract The following work investigates overall heat transfer coefficient of a helical coil and how it changes in different situations. The variables investigated were flow rate inside a submerged helical coil and agitation of the bath. To investigate the change in heat transfer coefficient in different situations, a simple experiment was set up. It consisted of a rectangular isolated tank, which was filled with water, submerged steel coil and an agitator. A rotameter was used to measure the flow rate, and a pump was used to force the water through the coil. A thermocouple was placed at each end of

1 Wave energy Introduction to wave energy There are several possibilities to harvest different forms of energy from the sea. One of these options is the usage of waves for the generation of electricity. The devices needed to perform this task are called wave energy converters. Wave energy is indirect solar energy in twice. At first there is the wind, which is caused by variations in atmospheric pressure due to a differential solar heating of earth's surface by the sun. Different regions of pressure drives a force which rises

Russia has suffered through rough times in war, mad leaders and tough life amongst the locals. Over times the country has had several different names and political systems. They have been an empire ruled by a czar, a communist nation, and a democratic federation. Nowadays the country's official name is the Russian Federation ("Basic facts about,"). The head of the executive branch in Russia is the president who works with the prime minister. The legislative branch is the Bicameral Federal Assembly which consists of the Federation Council and State Duma. The Judicial branch consists of the Constitutional Court,

Compare the differences between the “bang-bang“ control and proportional control. What are the functions of Integral and Derivative terms in the PID equation. Solution: Draw a PID control system: (Figure 5.5, page 111) Write down an equation to describe the PID control: (page 111) Compare the differences and the advantages between the “bang-bang“ control and Proportional control: (page 105) “Bang-Bang“ control or ON-OFF control is the simplest control system. It turns ON when the system needs more INPUT and tuns OFF if the system doesn’t need INPUT any more. The INPUT is similar to the PWM square wave (running ON and OFF during the length of the needed INPUT). Bang-Bang control is similar to the PWM input signal Proportional control: Bang-Bang control and Proportional control So th

kHz)) Relational database software: theory and first research groups. In 1970 an IBM researcher named Ted Codd published the first article on relational databases. Codd envisaged a system where the user would be able to access information with English like commands, and where information would be stored in tables. Due to the technical nature of the article, and the reliance on mathematics to support its case, the significance of it was not realized immediately. However, it did lead to IBM starting a research group known as 'System R'. Eventually System R evolved into SQL/DS which later became DB2. The language created by the System R group, SQL. (Structured Query Language) has become the industry standard for relational databases and is now an ISO standard. First commercial SQL database created by Honeywell Information Systems Inc., which released a commercial product in June of 1976. 1971

ix Introduction Modern electronic systems are increasingly digital: digital microprocessors, digital logic, digital interfaces. Digital logic is easier to design and understand, and it is much more flexible than the equivalent analog circuitry would be. As an example, imagine trying to implement any kind of sophisticated micro- processor with analog parts. Digital electronics lets the PC on your desk execute different programs at different times, perform complex calculations, and communicate via the World Wide Web. While the electronic world is nearly all digital, the real world is not. The temperature in your office is not just hot or cold, but varies over a wide range. You can use a thermometer to determine what the temperature is, but how do you convert the temperature to a digital value for use in a microprocessor- controlled thermostat? The ignition control microprocessor in your car has

elief Sometimes "folklore" is religious in nature, like the tales of the Welsh Mabinogion or those found in Icelandic skaldic poetry. Many of the tales in the Golden Legend of Jacob de Voragine also embody folklore elements in a Christian context, as well as the tales of Old Mr. Brennan. Examples of such Christian mythology are the themes woven round Saint George or Saint Christopher. In this case, the term "folklore" is being used in a pejorative sense. That is, while the tales of Odin the Wanderer have a religious value to the Norse who composed the stories, because it does not fit into a Christian configuration it is not considered "religious" by Christians who may instead refer to it as "folklore." insulator when reverse biased. 7) A power diode is more complicated in structure and operational characteristics than the small signal diode. The forward bias characteristic of the power diode is approximately linear, which means that the voltage drop is proportional to the omic resistance and to the current. The rated currents of power diodes are thousands of amperes and the area of the pn junction may be tens of square centimeters. In the case of power diode, the additional n- layer exists between these two layers, which is termed as a drift region. This layer can be quitewide for the diode. The wide lightly doped region adds significant ohmic resistance to the forward-biased diode and causes larger power dissipation in the diode when it is conducting current. Most of the power dissipation in a diode occurs in the forward-biased on-state operation. Real
network engineers as an event during the call. It requires the least processing by the network providing service. When the mobile is between base stations, then the mobile can switch with any of the base stations, so the base stations bounce the link with the mobile back and forth. This is called 'ping-ponging'. (2G, Soft handover - Is one in which the channel in the source cell is retained and used for a while in parallel with the channel in the target cell. In this case the connection to the target is established before the connection to the source is broken, hence this handover is called make-before-break. The interval, during which the two connections are used in parallel, may be brief or substantial. For this reason the soft handover is perceived by network engineers as a state of the call, rather than a brief event. Soft handovers may involve using connections to more than two cells: connections to

Principle of CE devices is very simple and is shown in Fig. 1. Analysis sequence is also very simple. Both ends of the capillary with electrodes immersed in the electrolyte container. The capillary is filled with buffer, to which the sample solution is applied on one side. Then, sample components are separated by an applied voltage, as they move in a buffer at different speeds.

MANY PEOPLE have urged me to put out a paperback edition of The Codebreakers. Here it is. It comprises about a third of the original. This was as big as the publishers and I could make it and still keep the price within reason. In cutting the book, I retained mainly stories about how codebreaking has affected history, particularly in World War II, and major names and stages in the history of cryptology. I eliminated all source notes and most of the technical matter, as well as material peripheral to strict codebreaking such as biographies, the invention of secondary cipher systems, and miscellaneous uses of various systems. I had no space for new material, but I did correct the errors reported to me and updated a few items. The chapters have been slightly rearranged. Readers wanting to know more about a specific point should consult the text and notes of the original.
