Actually, there is nothing to develop them into. The house, we're talking about, sits high atop a rocky hill alone, as a ruin. There is much history to this place, but that history is centuries old. Recently has nothing happened here. This huge manor has been vacant for nearly a hundred years. It was cleared of human-kind by a spirit so malevolent no one will step foot inside. It is mostly made of wood. There are no windows left, merely shells. The master of the house held it in such fear, that the ghosts are still visible, as reported by some who have been there. The reason why I chose this book is because I’m interested in fantasy,psychological illnesses and have always wanted to read it when I past the book. It writes about death, zombies, mental illnesses and contains a variety of genres like fantasy, romance and also anxiety. The story starts with a fourteen year old girl getting her period and seeing a ghost in the bathroom. When the ghost wanted to talk to her, she started yelling so loud that a janitor came and tried to calm her down. Unfortunately it didn’t work and she ran out of the restroom while yelling. On the way down the stairs a couple of teachers tried to stop her but she fought them and because of that they gave her a sedative. due to that, the monster kills Victor's wife. He then escapes and Victor starts to look for him. The reach to the North Pole where Victor meets Robert Walton. He tells the story to Walton and asks him if he could kill the monster for him. Victor dies and soon Walton manages to talk to the monster. The story ends with the monster sailing away on an ice shelf. I really enjoyed reading this book because I adore horror movies and ghost books. It was deep, touching, sad and exciting. I believe that Mary Shelley tried to show that we should not judge people by their appearance and that we should look in the person's character deeper. The society should be more tolerant and kind. Luckily nowadays this is not such a big problem as it used to be. I liked the eloquent writing style and the authors' ability to put real emotions into the story. It made me feel empathic sometimes for Victor and sometimes for the monster
