People whould have the rights to design their own babies

People should have the right to design their own babies. Have you ever caught yourself thinking about what if you had the power to design your own baby? Most likely everyone has. It is every parent's hope that their child will turn out to be a perfect human being without any physical or mental disabilities . But is it moral? First of all, if parents could design their own baby everyone would be perfect. What is more there would not be any babies born with illnesses or disabilities, both mental and physical. This is good news both to parents and children because living together with a handicap or being one is a very hard and sad thing. Another major point is, how far would people go designing their babies. One thing is...

Crazy Lady

Maxine's outrageous behavior is accurately depicted through clothes and language. Vernon changes from the role of teaser to the protector during the progress of the story. The author tries to show the life of 1980 in Tenley Heights. It feels like the story is based on real-life. The story addresses peer pressure, alcoholism, and people perceptions of other people with disabilities . Vernon finds out that you cannot control anyone's actions but your own. He finds out that his father has been there for him all the time and Vernon discovers that triumph and tragedy often go hand in hand. I didn't have a certain plan to read this book. I found it accidentally. In my opinion, it was easy to follow, but it was written in American English. It was hard to translate into Estonian....

Disabled Athletes should take up in Sport

Everyone should have the opportunities to learn sport skills and become active for life. But some of them were born with birth defects that resulted in lost limbs or paralysis. There are professional athletes, who inspire me with their strength, spirit and ability to overcome their disabilities. To begin with, they are pushing back the barriers which, until recently, kept the disabled from taking part in sports. They are demonstrating their abilities in an environment where their disabilities don't count. Moreover, disabled athletes are very hardy. Many of them have suffered accidents and illnesses which would be enough to make most of us want to give up. Nevertheless, there are those who claim that, «Why can't people simply face the fact that if you're disabled, you might not get to play sports in the same manner as everyone else? Also, disabled peo...

Does children who have a very high IQ need special education at schools?

school and some of them are smarter and quicker than others they may be labeled as nerds and weirdos. They are also often ostracized. Another thing is that, in extremis gifted children often knows more than their teachers and are very bored. Gifted students need more than most regular schools can offer to them to improve their knowledge. On the other hand, some of them, who have very high IQ, may be very different than normal people. Some of them may have disabilities like autism, anxiety. With them they absolutely cannot learn in regular schools. To the conclusion, I would like to say that I think it is way better when children with very high IQ are not learning in ordinary school, because they are not at the same level with other people and it will be hard for gifted and not so gifted children....

English essay The Future of Education

The face of education is changing rapidly because of direct injection of computer technology into schools. Online courses soon will prevail over the traditional high school and college education. Online Universities will create classes sponsored by companies. These companies will direct the universities on the materials of the course. The company will then offer those who pass the course a job. This will create a worker who will not be able to do his job without a computer. Teachers will take a backseat in these courses. There is also a chance that Teachers will have an easier job in the future, they will instruct the students only if needed. Also on the horizon are smart objects. These objects are geared more to small children then those that are in high school or college. Objects with animations such as building blocks that can talk and l...
