My Ideal Room

It would have probably more than one window, to have more natural light. There might be some stylish curtains in front of windows; their color might be something in the middle, not too dark, but also not too light. Walls, which would be covered with wallpaper, would be the same type, as the curtains. I'd probably have hard floor, which would have maybe one carpet on it. All the furniture, I'd have in my room, would be in some kind of a brownish variation, to make the room more natural. But I'd combine the entire furniture whit some hi-tech technology, for example a powerful computer, maybe also a 5.1 stereo system, surely a big TV set, about "32" inches diagonal and maybe a big deck too. In my room there would be one medium sofa, maybe one or two closets, studying desk and some shelves for mainly storing CD-s and DVD-s. Of...

Essay: My Ideal Home

The house is made of bricks. In my case I would have as many windows as possible. Light colour in the hall, it's the first thing you see when you walk into the house. There's not much space, therefore, this is fulfilled only essential things. On the right hand, there is a low cupboard, which is next to the vase of globeflowers. On the opposite wall, there is rocking chair and a peg. The ceiling is painted white and cream colored carpet covers the parquet. The next room consists of dining and livingroom. This is the biggest and the brightest room in this house. A rich mintcream walls and hardwood floors these two are well contrasted with furniture. One wall is all glass with a nice view of the ocean, so it's left almost uncovered. Only dining table and four chairs in oak are located close to it. This way you should have a good view at sunset. It is even better in autumn and spring, when you can enjoy it at dinner time...

This particular franklin is a connoisseur of food and wine, so much so that his table remains laid and ready for food all day. The five Guildsmen: Carpenter (est: PUUSEPP) , Haberdasher( est: PUDUKAUPMEES), Dyer (est: VÄRVAL), Weaver (est: KANGUR), Carpet maker (est: VAIBAMEISTER): how were they dressed? What has been said about their wives? Listed together, the five Guildsmen appear as a unit. English guilds were a combination of labor unions and social fraternities: craftsmen of similar occupations joined together to increase their bargaining power and live communally. All five Guildsmen are clad in the livery of their brotherhood....

The mysterious affair at styles

Mary. Though Poirot has retired, he quickly agrees to investigate the murder of Mrs. Inglethorp. After all, Emily had been instrumental in settling Poirot and some other Belgians in the village. The clues are plentiful. There is the crushed coffee cup in Mrs. Inglethorp's room, the remains of the cocoa in another cup, the stain on the carpet , the locked despatch case, the thread on the door bolt, the candle grease on the floor, the burned fragments of paper in the fireplace. The police are kept busy with suspects. First, there is Alfred Inglethorp. But his alibi is convincing. Then there is John Cavendish, but the evidence also points to his brother Lawrence. Even Dr. Bauerstein is taken into custody. In the end, of course, it is up to Poirot to use his "little gray cells" to discover the murderer....

Videvik(kogu raamat Inglise keeles)

I stepped unwillingly out of the toasty truck cab and walked down a little stone path lined with dark hedges. I took a deep breath before opening the door. Inside, it was brightly lit, and warmer than I'd hoped. The office was small; a little waiting area with padded folding chairs, orange-flecked commercial carpet , notices and awards cluttering the walls, a big clock ticking loudly. Plants grew everywhere in large plastic pots, as if there wasn't enough greenery outside. The room was cut in half by a long counter, cluttered with wire baskets full of papers and brightly colored flyers taped to its front. There were three desks behind the counter, one of which was manned by a large, red-haired woman wearing glasses. She was wearing a purple t-shirt, which immediately made me feel overdressed....

Tennis

Sometimes they might use tennis dresses or just simple shorts. Players often use sweat bands on their wrists to keep their hands dry as well. Although the game can be played in a variety of shoes, specialized tennis shoes have wide, flat soles for stability and a built-up front structure to avoid excess wear. Tennis is played on a rectangular, flat surface, usually grass, clay, a hardcourt of concrete and/or asphalt and occasionally carpet (indoor). In most professional play and some amateur competition, there is an officiating head judge or chair umpire, who sits in a raised chair to one side of the court. The umpire has absolute authority to make factual determinations. The umpire may be assisted by line judges, who determine whether the ball has landed within the required part of the court and who also call foot faults. There also may be a net judge who determines whether the ball has touched the net during service...
