Art versus Nonsense
What is beauty ? Why do we find certain things beautiful ? Beauty is something that everyone is familiar with. It can’t just be defined as something that may look good . It can be a feeling , a piece of art, music, or words. Anything can be beautiful depending on the person , beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. The music of songbirds is not generally considered art to us, but to birds it may be.
The study of beauty is something not easily perfected because there is no absolute and true single beautiful thing in the world. Ideas of what is beautiful and what isn’t change quickly, one day something may be thought of as “in” and the next day “out.” I have learned that beauty isn’t necessarily a person, place , or thing. Beauty for the most part is a feeling it’s internal, something in your heart or mind that makes you smile when you see, hear , or sense it. Something beautiful can give you a sublime feeling or may relax you in some ways, making you believe that everything is right in the world.
Not all works of art necessarily create an aesthetic experience in us. For example when we look at a painting and all we can think about is to determine how much we can sell it for – then obviously this is not an eye of a person enjoying art, but a brain of a businessman and one should be in an office instead of visiting and art gallery . Unfortunately, I personally tend to think that nowdays too many people are going in that way. I mean the way when you make a song within a day, sell it for billions of dollars and all this „very hard work“ just to get on the red carpet and live a fancy life. It is really annoying and disturbing, I compare it with throwing litter on the street . It just isn't the right place for it.
Same thing is with modern art and critics nowdays. To my mind, both are often really fake and doesn't express their own feelings , but the thoughts and needs what the public is hoping to get. Many people think that the more absurd things you do, the more artistic and famous you are. Doing totally nonsensical art can be good when it's made with heart and One really believes in in. For example Lady Gaga has more fans than the president of the United States. The word weird is identical to her, and that is what makes her special as she knows exactly how to represent it perfectly. But when you look at our „artist“ Pille Neeve, who is totally idiotic and most of the times doing absolutely nonsense just to be special among the other Estonian artists , it makes me sad. And often sick also.
What do fine food, beautiful art, and soulful music have in common? The thing that makes them good, of course – the quality ! When you loose this main ingredient, you can't make a wonderful recipe .

· And when you begin to miss me, dont forget it was you who let me go. · There is an end to things no matter how much we want to hold into them. Dorian Gray, Lord Henry Wotton, Basil Hallward

Dorian Gray Dorian Gray is the kind of person you could look up to from far far away but whom you would never want to be. To others he seems pretty, almost ideal but in the real world there is no such thing as an ideal person. His good looks does him no good in more than just one way. It makes him vain and obsessed with his appearance. Also looking good is something everyone wants to achieve. And people who envy you often gossip and start nasty rumors about you. A person like Dorian Gray worries about his fading beauty and would do almost anything to keep it. For example he would wish a pretty portrait of himself age instead of him. It is easier to hide away a ugly-looking painting, that depicts the eeriness of your soul, than yourself. All that matters is the present day and the face that you see from the mirror. Right? As it turns out, even for Dorian, the saying out of mind- out of sight doesn't really work. You can only try to deny something but it is inevitable that one day the

Apperances are deceitful!

People's eyes are attracted to beauty and it's quite natural. We look at flowers, landscapes, pieces of art, and so on. We understand why it is beautiful. People also think of a man's/woman's appearance as of a masterpiece of nature and enjoy it as much as a landscape in the Alps. But is the essence of this beauty the same? Landscapes are parts of nature, pieces of art are created by gifted people; these objects are not alive, don't possess an intellect, so it is much easier to define the essence of it's meaning and purpose. Humans have divine gift of speech, abstract thinking and freedom of action. We can't but agree that it's very difficult to define, what is hiding behind good looks. Our mind is used to assume that beauty contains only good things. We forget that beauty can also be dangerous. This rule can be applied to some people that use their appearance to harm others for their own profit. Good looking people are called lucky and others that don't fall under that category are ex

Dear listeners, most of us here today are soon going to make the biggest and most important step of our lives so far. We are going to start a completely new and different life after graduation. The emphasis therefore should be on the word "life". The real thing, it's coming, it's going to hit us and it's going to hit us hard. Nothing is going to be the same. Life will never ever be as simple, carefree and easygoing again. To me, the expression "life is hard" has never meant anything. I have always been more of a "life is beautiful"-type. I have never really thought that it actually is hard. Mostly because I have never thought what the real life is like. Ofcourse I have seen it, it's all around me, but only seeing and seeing plus thinking through what you see are two really different things. An example: have you ever been to a funeral of a collateral relative as a child? Do you remember what you felt? I remember I felt almost nothing and I never cried. When someone died, for example

Only in the darkness you are available see the stars. If you end up with boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some gut on television telling you how to do your shit, then you DESERVE it. - Frank Zappa *It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. - Marilyn Monroe *I love the feeling when you smile at me, or even just look at me, because I know that I've crossed your mind. Even just for a second - Anonymous You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with. Me? I'm scared of everything. I'm scared of what I feel, of what I've said, of who I am, but most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the
