Hooajal 2000-01 liitus ta Belgia liiga klubiga Telindus Oostende. Belgias ei olnud tema karjäär kõige edukam, sest teda vaevas tõsine küünarliigese vigastus ja ta oli sunnitud naasma Eestisse.
