THE IMPACT OF THE MEDIA ON BAD BODY IMAGE IN CHILDREN Today's children grow up in a world flooded with the mass media. Statistics reveal that, on average, a child watches up to 5 h of television per day and spends an average of 6 to 7 h viewing the various media combined. Body image issues have been on the rise rince the introduction of social media websites that hoste the idea of ,,perfect" or ,,idealized" body sizes. Over the past 20 years, several articles have proposed a link between the thin female beauty ideal and the muscular male body ideal portrayed in the media with a range of psychological symptomatology including body dissatisfaction and eating disorders. Over time the cultural ideal for women's body size and shape has become considerably thinner and leaner and men's body size and shape has become stronger and more muscular.

Nowadays, if you ask a person, when he or she has read last a book and what the book's title was, the person will not know what to answer. Nobody reads any more, or if they do it is on the internet and only a summary so as not to get tired too much. The Internet entertains superficially, as people do not gain too much by ''surfing'' it. Yes, maybe a new pair of glasses for spending so much time in front of a computer. I do not say there are no educating websites that are worth visiting, that really help, but their number is quite small. As not to get fat, while sitting on an arm-chair, people could instead go to a library, borrow a book and go to a park and start reading. Everybody will notice the difference. They will think so well of themselves while doing more things at once: reading and enjoying themselves in the middle of nature. People should try to understand that the Internet is benefic to our life till one point. If
It has replaced live, face-to-face communication with other people. Instead of going out and meeting a friend for coffee, people prefer to sit In front of a computer screen, typing. The internet has another very bad characteristic feature: it is highly addictive. It takes valuable hours from your working day without you even noticing. Because the Internet is limitless, it has no boundaries, much like the universe, people always discover new things, new websites, new information and that curiosity is what keeps them constantly online. Not only does the Internet reduce our face to face communication, it also has a dramatic effect on our intelligence. It has been scientifically proven that while surfing the Web, certain parts of the brain deteriorate, reducing the capabilities of one"s brain. It demands less brain activity than reading a book for example The Internet, at the same time, is both a blessing and a curse. When using it for the right
The second tier of importance includes Spanish and Arabic and French for their wide use and Japanese, from Japan's economic influence. The third tier of importance covers Portuguese (for Brasil), German, and Russian. The remaining languages are essentially regional or minor. Success in business in the global economy requires fluency in one or more of the languages in Tier One or Tier Two, no matter where you live.Business operations reception, customer service, sales, websites, advertising that entail use of one or more languages provide access to major additional segments of the global economy. Likewise, the executive or office worker or retail clerk with multi-fluency has the edge over co-workers and competitors who do not. The isolationism of single-language operations in business and in government amounts to arrogance, and eliminates the single-language entity from effective competition.
Please pay attention, that sharing journeys reduces carbon emissions, traffic congestion on the roads, and the need for parking spaces. What do you think about problems with parking places? It is really hard to find parking place near our university. In our days, when the Internet could be used not only from a computer, it has greatly helped carpooling to expand, enabling people to offer and find rides thanks to easy-to-use and reliable online transport marketplaces. These websites are commonly used for one-off long-distance journeys with high fuel costs. Just for your information I would like to say that there are some Estonian carpooling groups in Facebook, like Tallinn-Tartu-Tallinn, Tallinn-Rakvere-Tallinn and so on.So you could get to the place you need using these kinds of groups or some apps in your smartphone. In conclusion I would like to tell, that carpooling platforms in internet are meeting points for people who wants to reduce travel costs and pollution.

For example, the mass media influence on children is understandably higher than it is in adults. So how exactly does mass media influence us? Mass Media Influence on Youth There is a burgeoning need amongst the youth to be accepted as a part of a group, to be popular, to have friends and relationships with people of the opposite sex etc. Mass media experts understand this need of the people and hence they come out with advertisements on TV, or in the newspapers, or on websites on how people can be more popular using a certain product. Most advertisements you see which are aimed at the youth generally talk about the 'cool quotient' of the product and how it is going to be the next 'in-thing'. And if you want to stay ahead of the game, it is absolutely vital that you procure it. The visual effect, seeing the things happen in front of you and the slice-of-life effect makes them look a lot believable than they should be. So how should mass media be used with youth

Using proxies is like using someone elses computer when browsing different webpages but the difference is there, when you can use your computer as you always do and by using Internet you can use another computer. I know that I am not the best person to explain it but it is a very simple thing and I hope that you know now something more about proxies. If you are interested now in using proxies then I can tell you a little tip: you can get proxies from different websites, just use google or any other search engine to navigate to the right page. I almost forgot to tell you that there is at least one more way to get an access to somebodys Facebook account. This method is the cheapest and it's price depends only on you and how smart you are and how good you know this person whose account you want to hack. This is by guessing the password. I know that I seems to be almost impossible but never give up, it's very easy and it

The main purpose was to research the presumable reasons why those buildings collapsed. Furthermore, terrorists work was also a part of the research. Many reference books and websites were used for this research. Only the most important information was used and made as a synopsis. As a result of this research it was found that the towers collapsed because of the melting of the supports that held the floors. The melting was caused by the burning fuel and because of that the floors collapsed on one another. 3 SISUKORD RESÜMEE....................................................................................2 RESUME..............

In order to make right calculations we used our theoretical knowledge as well as specific books and websites. From now on we have also practical knowledge of how the whole transport operation works. 41

We need to use meaningful, realistic and relevant writing tasks, based on our learners' needs and interests. Another solution is to design individual tasks based on what individual learners need to write. In addition we should talk about writing with our learners: · How we write well? · Why we write? · Who we write for? · What makes it difficult? tables drawn up for the analysis and the results of the questionnaire. Most of the material originates from the Internet. A major part of the information on legislation comes from the website of the Consumer Protection Board that includes an abundant selection of links. The information on emulsions and cream types mostly originates from the “Kosmeetiline keemia” electronic textbook prepared by L. Simisker for beauticians. Information on harmful substances originates from various blogs and websites devoted to natural cosmetics. The surveymonkey.com website has been used to conduct the questionnaire and the selection of creams is based on the face creams sold at the Selver, Maxima and Rimi supermarkets. The research has revealed that the percentage of daily users of face cream is quite high – 62%. However, most of the users do not examine the ingredients, but rather trust the recognition of the brand. At the same time, 84.38% of the users have found that they choose a product with

Shaw noted that recessive traits emerge in pedigree cats because of line-breeding and inbreeding which matches together genetically similar individuals. This means a better
