It involves identifying a specific group or category of people and collecting information from some of them in order to gain insight into what the entire group does or thinks; however, undertaking a survey inevitably raises questions that may be difficult to answer. How many people need to be surveyed in order to be able to describe fairly accurately the entire group? How should the people be selected? What questions should be asked and how should they be posed to respondents? In addition, what data collection methods should one consider using, and are some of those methods of collecting data better than others? And, once one has collected the information, how should it be analyzed and reported? Deciding to do a survey means committing oneself to work through a myriad of issues each of which is critical to the ultimate success of the survey. Yet, each day, throughout the world, thousands of surveys are being undertaken. Some surveys
Our aim was to find out how many students use drugs in Jõhvi Gymnasium, investigate what kind of drugs students consume and to find out how often they are being used by teenagers, and whether it has changed their way of life in any way. The work was carried out by an online survey questionnaire and the compilation of students' answers to analyse the students' opinions and habits of drug use. Only the students of Jõhvi Gymnasium were within the scope of the survey, we got a total of 58 respondents. Throughout the work, we revealed that our estimated problem of drug abuse in Jõhvi Gymnasium didn't meet our limits.The problem was that over 70% of the respondents consumed or have consumed legal drugs such as tobacco and alcohol, and over 50% of these respondents were minors, it can be inferred that high school students' way of life is quite unhealthy. Use of illegal drugs among young people was less than 50% and thus a reasonable result

However in the secondary school and high school there were about 19% of students who mentioned few problems. Vast majority were girls from secondary school who had problems with handicraft. Those questions were about online-gambling, frequency of gambling, their biggest financial losses and winnings, reasons of gambling, and on which gambling games do they play. I found out that almost all of these young people, who answered to my questionnaire, have played gambling games. Most of these young people gamble only once a year or less often.
