For and against capital punishment

For and against capital punishment Capital punishment as death penalty is the killing of a person by judical process for retribution and incapacitation. And it has advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage of capital punishment is that it permanently removes the worst criminals from society and should prove much safer for the rest of us. It is self- evident that dead criminals cannot commit any further crimes, either within prison or after escaping or being released from it. Another advantage of capital punishment is that country can have minor costs in prison. In other words, the country may very well better spend our (limited) resources on the old, the young and the sick etc., rather than on the long term imprisonment of

My life without the Internet

It is used for a wide variety of purposes, such as surfing for information, working, playing online games, and just chatting. The fact that people are not interacting in visible public spaces does not mean that they are in isolation. It is just sometimes quicker and easier way to find needed information and for some people who simply don't have time to meet and have a chat in a cafe or somewhere it might be the only way to chat. On the other hand the situation where the Internet would permanently disappear would create a massive information isolation as the humanity is deeply comforted to the fast information interchange that is included to Internet. In my point of view, when we would never had the Internet we couldn't really miss it too. The most distributed historical information interchange opportunities would have maximally developed and the humanity would still be happy with it. The more desperate version is losing a big success like the Internet is.

Plastic bags aren’t just at the grocery store, there everywhere, landfills ,some coutrys they are even in the lakes, hanging on trees around our neighborhoods and suffocating wildlife As a human being, I’m agree that plastic bags should be banned permanently. This is because plastic bags are not biodegradable, so where ever people leave them, they will stay, forever. Buying on credit

A credit card is a great way to cover one`s expenses when the next paycheck hasn`t arrived yet. Such kind of activity is the most popular in the Unites States of America. Advertisers always praise how buying on credit is beneficial but people also need to get familiar with it`s disadvantages. First of the various utilities is space savings. It is very easy to carry on credit card in a purse because it takes less room than a bundle of dollar bills. Secondly, when we lose cash then it´s permanently gone but in case of missing credit card it is possible to cancel the bank account. Another important benefit is ability to handle expenses that might be out of one´s reach. In case of an emergency, such as car breakdown or illness, it is very useful. Despite of great advantages, people should keep in mind it`s downsides. A credit card leads people to unresponsible spending. Well, there are the obvious things that describe a healthy person: He or she doesn't smoke, is at a healthy weight, eats healthy foods not trans fats and exercises on a regular basis. It sounds so simple, it's funny just how hard it is to do all of those things in our current world. The good news is, you don't have to change everything at the same time

Nigeria population 2015 During 2015 Nigeria population is estimated to be increased by 3 465 943 people and reach 182 307 178 in the beginning of 2016. The natural increase is expected to be positive, as the number of births will exceed the number of deaths by 3 478 462. If external migration will remain on the previous year level, the population will be declined by 12 519 due to the migration reasons. It means that amount of people who leaves Nigeria to settle permanently in another country (emigrants) will prevail over the amount of people who moves into the country (to which they are not native) in order to settle there as permanent residents (immigrants). Population dynamics in 2015 According to our estimations, daily change rates of Nigeria population in 2015 will be the following:  17 399 live births average per day (724.96 in a hour)  7 869 deaths average per day (327.88 in a hour)

Structural loads

But in the real world the engineer's first job is to determine which loads will act on a structure and how strong they might be in extreme cases. This is anything but a simple task. Loads are further divided into environmental loads, thermal, settlement and sesmic loads. Then there are live loads these are the impermanent loads, that may be shifted around and change in value, for instance people, furniture, equipment and other stored goods. In addition, there are dead loads, which are permanently there and support their own weight these are the heavy elements like columns, beams, floors, arches, domes, but also ceiling and inslulation material. Finally, it leaves us with other loads corrosion, fire and loads during construction. First of all, thermal loads are sometimes called hidden or locked-in loads and caused by daily or seasonal change in air temperature. All floats are hauled before the line is hauled, resulting in irreparably tangled lines. Only the pollock fishery in Korea uses this. The third method is known as overhauling. Tundra

Tundra comes from the Finnish word tunturi, meaning treeless plain. It is noted for its frost-moulded landscapes, extremely low temperatures, little precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons. Dead organic material functions as a nutrient pool. The two major nutrients are nitrogen and phosphorus. Nitrogen is created by biological fixation, and phosphorus is created by precipitation. The most distinctive characteristic of tundra soil is its permafrost, a permanently frozen layer of ground. The average winter temperature is -28°C, but the average summer temperature is 3-16°C. During the brief summers, the top section of the soil may thaw out allowing plants and microorganisms to grow and reproduce. However, these plants and microorganisms become dormant during the cold winter months. Soil is formed slowly. The constant freezing and thawing in the tundra helps to break the rocks into smaller pieces. Permafrost consists mostly of gravel and finer material

Canada has very famous lakes called the Great Lakes which includes seven lakes: Lake Huron (which is also the biggest lake of Canada), Lake Great Bear, Lake Superior, Lake Great Slave (also the deepest lake, with a depth of 614 m), Lake Winnipeg, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. They are also the biggest lakes in Canada.

associated took power. Although born into a Guelph family, Dante became more neutral later in life realizing that the church was corrupt, believing it should only be involved in spiritual affairs. At the turn of the century, Dante rose from city councilman to ambassador of Florence. His career ended in 1301 when the Black Guelph and their French allies seized control of the city. They took Dante's possessions and sentenced him to be permanently banished from Florence, threatening the death penalty upon him if he returned. Dante spent most of his time in exile writing new pieces of literature. It is believed that around 1307 he interrupts his unfinished work, Convivio, a reflection of his love poetry philosophy of the Roman tradition, to begin The Comedy (later known as The Divine Comedy). He writes a book called De Vulgari Eloquentia explaining his idea to combine a number of Italian dialects to create a new national language

Social Problems

Proposed solutions to homelessness In 2007 urban designer and social theorist Michael E. Arth proposed a controversial national solution for homelessness that would involve building nearly carfree Pedestrian Villages in place of what he terms "the current band- aid approach to the problem." A prototype, Tiger Bay Village, was proposed for near Daytona Beach, FL. He claims that this would be superior for treating the psychological as well as psychiatric needs of both temporarily and permanently homeless adults, and would cost less than the current approach. It would also provide a lower cost alternative to jail, and provide a half-way station for those getting out of prison. Work opportunities, including construction and maintenance of the villages, as well as the creation of work force agencies would help make the villages financially and socially viable.

Some prairie trees have thick bark to resist fire. Prairie shrubs readily resprout after fire. Roots of prairie grasses extend deep into the ground to absorb as much moisture as they can extensive root systems prevent grazing animals from pulling roots out of the ground. Prairie grasses have narrow leaves which lose less water than broad leaves. Grasses grow from near their base, not from tip, thus are not permanently damaged from grazing animals or fire. Many grasses take advantage of exposed, windy conditions and are wind pollinated. Soft stems enable prairie grasses to bend in the wind. Taiga- Due to the harsh environmental conditions, not many plants can survive in the taiga biome. Hence, there is less diversity in the plants found in this biome. As already mentioned, the common taiga plants are coniferous trees or evergreens with long, thin, and waxy leaves

preference tariff for colonial products entering the British market. Economic hardship was the prime motive behind the Morant Bay rebellion by freedmen in 1865. The British ruthlessly quelled the uprising and also forced the frightened legislature to surrender its powers; Jamaica became a crown colony. Poverty and economic decline led many blacks to seek temporary work in neighboring Caribbean areas and in the United States; many left the island permanently, emigrating to England, Canada, and the United States. Indians were imported to meet the labor shortage on the plantations after the slaves were freed, and agriculture was diversified to lessen dependence on sugar exports. A new constitution in 1884 marked the initial revival of local autonomy for Jamaica. Despite labor and other reforms, black riots recurred, notably those of 1938, which were caused mainly by unemployment and resentment against British racial policies. Jamaican

When the first clinical sings were noticed the calf was treated with florfenicol (40 mg/kg SC). Although the eye healed, unfortunately calf was permanently blind in the affected eye (Angelos, 2018). Moraxella bovis is usually considered to be influenced by different antibiotics. IBK Moraxella bovis is normally very susceptible and should be disturbed by every single-drug therapy (Angelos, 2018). Here quotation forms one sentence so only first letter is capital (e.g. "Ideas," writes Carl Jung, "spring from something greater than the personal human being."). 5. A closing comma or full stop goes inside the closing (e.g. "High school," writes Ellen Willis, "permanently damaged my self-esteem."). 6. A closing semicolon or colon goes outside the closing quotation mark (e.g. The head of the union announced, "The new contract is a good one for management and labor"; then she left the room.). 7. A question mark or exclamation mark that belongs to the quotation goes inside the quotation. One question mark within the quotation serves also for whole sentence (e.g. Who wrote, "What's in a name?"). 8
