What makes a good leader? There are many different leadership theories and opinions about characteristics and skills that leader should have. The Great Man Theory declares that the leaders are born not made, but the another theory claims that some people just have more leadership gifts than others. It's good to know leadership theories because the better you know them, the better you are likely to lead. If you want to succeed in your career or business, it is important to be the leader in your field. Leaders need clear sense of their calling and they need to be curios about it to notice new things. Nevertheless good leaders have to remember that they don't know everything.
From 28 to 27. What is the long-term consequence of the UK leaving the European Union? There is no question that the United Kingdom leaving the European Union or Brexit as we all know it, is a big hit for the EU and the UK. It’s by no means an easy process and a lot of people are against it, but today nothing can be done to stop it. Even though Brexit is seen by its leaders as a positive change, it will also have quite a negative effect on Britain and play a big role in reshaping European Union. Most British people were voting for Brexit to regain sovereignty, to ‘take back control’ and regulate their laws. At first glance, it may seem that they would be in charge of their actions which would mean that nobody on the outside can manipulate them. Although nowadays countries depend on each other a lot and the UK is no exception. Everything is more connected

Furthermore, at the conference of Yalta, he and the other leaders of the Allies decided what would happen after the end of the war and how Europe would be divided. Winston Churchill was one of the important leaders in World War II and his decisions had an impact on the entire world.

Summary of ,,Nelson's management style could have come from a modern textbook" By Stephen Howarth Many people think that it is almost impossible to use war leaders of the past as role models for the present. Although leaders and heroes are still needed. Nelson's character and training for the adventure of the Nile still makes him an figure example for everyone. Today even at the hardest boardroom battle almost no-one has to feel the level of responsibility that Nelson had in 1798. He bored responsibilities that are also described in modern books, there he mentioned important themes. Those themes, for example developing teamwork, are still very valuable.

built an earthwork barrier, known as Wat's Dyke. It reached from sea to sea. Wat's Dyke was the first permanent boundary between the Welsh and English people. In England the period from 800-1000 AD is often called the late Anglo-Saxon period. Anglo- Saxon kingdoms liked nationalism. Numerous attempts were made throughout this period to create, if not a nation of Wales, then at least larger and more powerful kingdoms within Wales. One of the early leaders of these tentative movements toward nationalism was Rhodri ap Merfyn, later to be known as Rhodri Mawr (Rhodri the Great). In 877 the two "Greats", Rhodri and Alfred clashed, and the Welsh leader and his son were killed. England kings fearful of the power of Rhodri's sons, submitted to the overlordship of Wessex, who were English leaders. Eventually even two other son's of Rhodri the Great were forced to acknowledge Alfred Wessex as their overlord. This step was to have far-reaching

It consists of about 750 members (a variable number ) most of whom are Life Peers (i.e. not hereditary lords), or people who have been ennobled for services rendered to the nation. These Life Peers are mostly former members of the House of Commons, or former senior officials, judges, or former business leaders or trade union leaders: each government and opposition party has the right, each year, to propose new Life peers . The other members of the House of Lords are 96 hereditary Lords from the "nobility" of the United Kingdom, and 26 Bishops of the Anglican Church. As mentioned above, the House of Lords can not block bills proposed by the Government in the House of Commons, and can only delay some bills . It is rare that the House of Lords use

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing in response to your advertisment about camp Conway, a summer camp for young children. As I am very interested in sending my two children to this camp I would be grateful if you could answer some questions I have. Your advertisment states that this camp is for young children. What is the age group? I would also like to know when exactly and for how long is the duration of the camp. As I wish the best for my children I would like to know more about the team leaders. Do they have enough experience with children and what are their qualifications? In addition I would like to know how much does it cost and what time does it have to be paid for. I am looking forward to sending my children to this camp as they seem very interested in it too. Thank you for your kind attention. I hope to hear from you soon. Yours faithfully, Anne Richards

Little girls followed their mother and were taught all that was necessary for a mother to know. In Aboriginal society every person (particular every initiated male) was considered to be equal. No one had authority over anyone else in the sense of ruling them, but this is not to say that there weren't leaders. But there were no elected leaders in Aboriginal society. There were leaders known as Elders. People, whom others listened to, asked for advice and generally obeyed when they issued orders. The Elders were considered to be wise in knowledge of the Dreamtime the law and the lore's of the tribe. An Elder was usually a male but gray hair and old age were not the only criteria to be an Elder. The first British to arrive to Australia were Captain James Cook, in the year of 1788. The
The importance of education Education is one of the most important part in our today's society. Children are our future and educating them is really necessary. In the first place, giving children education is really important, because they are our future leaders, teachers and they have to develop our government for centuries. Moreover, schools, highschools and even universities teach some of the things you will have to encounter in your life after studies and have to step to work-life. In Fact, you will probably have to make presentations, CV-s and know how to communicate correctly with people. Furthermore, education gives you experience you can always relay on. It is shown in your documents that you will have for rest of your life

Benefits of the EU The European Union was formed after the Second World War, because some political leaders believed that it was the only way to avoid conflicts in the future. There are many benefits in the EU, for example the EU has allowed citizen of the European Union to travel freely around Europe and millions EU citizens have moved to other EU country to work or to study. The EU has also given European countries a voice in world affairs. Smaller countries like Estonia and Latvia now can also get a word in world affairs, they are heard.
The Union rejected secession, regarding it as rebellion. The war began in 1861 with the bombing at Fort Sumter in South Carolina. After 4 years of war, the South finally surrendered and the Confederate States of America was destroyed. Political system The U.S.A is a federation and a democracy. It is made up of 51 States. Each State has its own government and there is a Federal Government for the whole country. It is a democracy because the government leaders are elected by the people. For Americans, democracy means more than majority rule. It also means minority rights. The powers of the Federal Government are divided. The Congress writes the laws. The President carries out the laws and policies of the Government. The Supreme Court decides whether the laws themselves are legal or illegal. In the Federation, the citizens elect most of the Federal leaders as well as the State leaders

Introduction My name is Karl-Erik Lett. The title of my book is Love medicineand the autor of this book is Louise Erdich. This book was Publisher in 1984. I really enjoyed reading this book, seeing events from different point of views was facinating and made reading interesting. I chose this book because of its interesting title. Native American government policy is a recurrent topic, especially because the Kashpaw family is (according to Nector) “respected as the last hereditary leaders of this tribe. Loss of a cultural identity and Native American spirituality characterizes and separates the two generations in Love Medicine: “They gave you worthless land to start with and then they chopped it out from under your feet. They took your kids away and stuffed the English language in their mouth.” The generations that Erdrich covers experience that loss of culture. The youngest family members (or, perhaps those who attend American schools) are socialized in an

to realise themselves, need to ensure the well-being of their children, etc. So, on one hand, we can undoubtedly say that some women are more suitable for executive jobs than males because they are more advanced and have more management flare. On the other hand we cannot disagree that in usual men have better grip and energy in business, leadership and management affairs. That is the main reason why most of the world's political leaders were and are men, but again with some exceptions (Angela Merkel - Germany, Margaret Thatcher the United Kingdom, etc). To sum up, I must point out that it is natural that most top executives are men, but it is also absolutely normal when they are not. Companies should choose their top management members not by their gender, but by their personal characteristics.

They have innovative ideas, they are very active and fully commited into their doings and projects. If they take something up, they are will finish it. The next generation are not here just to receive knowldege and information, they are here to be heard and involved in decision making processes. It clearly reflects in workmarket. Especially in tehcnology, networking and information technology. The fact that executives and international leaders have started to employ people much younger than themselves, proves that younger people are neccecary and essential for society. They are sometimes called the Fat brains. The Fat Brains are Gen Yers anywhere between the ages of 20 and 35, also known as "Digital Natives," born and raised in the digital age. It's not just their proficiency in technology that distinguishes them; it's also their crazy problem-solving skills and their creativity.
Independence was declared on the late evening of August 20 in 1991. Soon, on 11 September 1988, a massive song festival, called "Song of Estonia", was held at the Tallinn Song Festival Ground. This time about 300,000 people came together, which was more than a quarter of all Estonians. Estonians sang national songs and hymns that were strictly forbidden during the years of the Soviet occupation, as Estonian rock musicians played. On that day political leaders were participating actively, and were for the first time insisting on the restoration of independence. Finally, the Soviet Union fell apart in 1991. I would say that this is the most glorious moment in the history of the Republic of Estonia, because not only Estonians but also other countries have a change to decide about our future by ourselves. In conclusion, 20 years later in Estonia was celebrated the singing festival, to note and remind the beginning of the reindependence

Civil War, and was disbanded in 1660 after the Restoration. It differed from other armies in the series of civil wars referred to as the Wars of the Three Kingdoms in that it was intended as an army liable for service anywhere in the country (including in Scotland and Ireland), rather than being tied to a single area or garrison. Its soldiers became full-time professionals, rather than part-time militia. To establish a professional officer corps, the army's leaders were prohibited from having seats in either the House of Lords or House of Commons. This was to encourage their separation from the political or religious factions among the Parliamentarians. partly from among veteran soldiers who already had deeply-held Puritan religious convictions, and partly from conscripts who brought with them many commonly-held beliefs

II. There Penn founded the colony of Pennsylvania, where he set up laws protecting freedom of religion and speech. People fleeing persecution in Europe eagerly settled in the colony. Men like Penn set an example which helped spread democratic ideals and practice throughout the colonies. As time passed, the colonists began to present the governing power that Britain exercised over them. In 1774, a group of leaders from the colonies met and formed the Continental Congress, which informed the king of the colonists' belief that they should have a voice in determining laws that affected them. The king and the conservative government paid no need to the concerns of the colonists. In 1772, fighting broke out between New England militia and British soldiers. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress issued a Declaration of Independence, primarily written by Thomas Jefferson, a farmer and lawyer from Virginia.

Valentine and Peter gained respect in the nets and became quite powerful. Of course they used false names: Demosthenes and Locke. On the lake Valentine and Ender met and talked and after that he decided to go on with his studies and try to save the world. Ender and Graff then took a shuttle flight to Eros, where Command School was. There he mostly was trained on a simulator, until he was so good that he had to start controlling bigger fleets, that means he started to control squadron leaders. Squadron leaders were his old friends from the Battle School. They practiced until, the final exam for Ender came. Usually they were out-numbered four to one, but now they were a thousand to one, and of course there were a few more surprises. And against all odds, he won, barely, but he still won, everyone in the room came to congratulate him and the Graff told him that all the time he was fighting the buggers and that now the war is over. He was too exhausted and so he just went to sleep
Public sympathy remained with Mary, and she soon overcame resistance to her accession. . Mary first began to earn her unofficial title of "Bloody Mary" when she had her cousin executed to prevent any possible power struggle Mary tried to turn England back to Roman Catholicism. This effort was carried out by force, and hundreds of Protestant leaders were executed. The first was John Rogers the printer of the "Matthews-Tyndale Bible" .It was followed by the execution of former archbishop Thomas Cranmer, who was primarily responsible for the printing of the "Great Bible". As a result, around 300 Protestant heretics were burnt in three years. They were mostly poor and self-taught people. This earned the queen the title of "Bloody Mary".
evil, whereas Grendel is a hideous, horrific, grim, fierce and merciless fiend who possesses no good qualities. With the description of Grendel the author actually describes Beowulf as well as he is always the absolute contrary to Grendel. We know that this is an Anglo-Saxon text because it has all the characteristic features of Anglo-Saxon literature. For example the metrical system is alliteration and it is used in abundance e.g. "Many at morning, as men have told me", "Folk-leaders faring from far and near", "By that bloody battle the boon had come" etc. Another characteristic is that there is no rhyme, but rhythm. This was very important in the Anglo-Saxon period as in the contemporary time the epic was performed by court singers. "Beowulf" was written with four beats to each line.
