The Wisdom of Youth
There is a proverb “ Knowledge in youth is wisdom in age” . People usually assosiate wisdom with older people.
Young people don’t often feel their voice is being heard. They feel they have lot to give but peole just don’t want to give them an opportunity. They might and certanly are seeing things in other perspective than older people do. Older generations are not used with upgrades in and new features in society and thats why they are all saying that the youth is in ....
But younger generation have more advanced and newer information with them. Nowadays the young know much more than the older did at the same age. They have innovative ideas, they are very active and fully commited into their doings and projects . If they take something up, they are will finish it. The next generation are not here just to receive knowldege and information, they are here to be heard and involved in decision making processes.
It clearly reflects in workmarket. Especially in tehcnology, networking and information technology. The fact that executives and international leaders have started to employ people much younger than themselves, proves that younger people are neccecary and essential for society.
They are sometimes called the Fat brains.
The Fat Brains are Gen Yers anywhere between the ages of 20 and 35, also known as “ Digital Natives,” born and raised in the digital age. It’s not just their proficiency in technology that distinguishes them; it’s also their crazy problem-solving skills and their creativity.
More ethnically, racially, and gender diverse than any generation before them, they live at the cutting edge of social innovation and embrace an enterprsing lifestyle.
As the proverb said „Knowledge in youth is wisdom in age”
the knowledge in youth will become wisdom during later years and time.
Afcourse the older people are here to advise and guide the the youth, and we have still much to learn from them, but the old age have even more to learn from us. It’s time for older to step back , and give an opportunity to the youth. The youth should be invloved in making important decisions. After all it is the wisdom of youth that will be building up the future.

Using Blogs as a Platform in the TEFL

In recent decade on the internet scene appeared such term as `weblog', the later version of which had been simplified and is nowadays known as `blog'. Due to the fact that these `personal online, web-based publications' (Armstrong & Retterer, 2009, p. 233) have found a broad response among many users both on leisure and professional level, the amount of definitions rose highly as well. Term `weblog' originally was coined in 1997 by John Barger and Robert Wisdom as they defined it as a `webpage where a web logger `logs' all the other webpage's he/she finds interesting' 4 (Armstrong & Retterer, 2009, p. 233). Since then it has simply been referred to as `a blog' and explained as it is `an online journal that users can continuously update, in their own words, online' (Matheson, 2004, p. 449)

English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. organization in charge of the mass communication is also getting publicity by the word-of-mouth channel! Mass Media Influence It is hard to argue with the fact that mass media has a compelling effect on the human mind. Especially on minds which are more impressionable. For example, the mass media influence on children is understandably higher than it is in adults. So how exactly does mass media influence us? Mass Media Influence on Youth There is a burgeoning need amongst the youth to be accepted as a part of a group, to be popular, to have friends and relationships with people of the opposite sex etc. Mass media experts understand this need of the people and hence they come out with advertisements on TV, or in the newspapers, or on websites on how people can be more popular using a certain product. Most advertisements you see which are aimed at the youth generally talk about the 'cool quotient' of the product and how it is going to be the next 'in-thing'

reach the enemy lines. They wreak havoc and destruction before grabbing all of the provisions they can carry. They run back to their position to rest for an hour. They devour the tins of food they have gathered, noting that the enemy has far better provisions than they do. Later, Paul stands watch. Memories of the past come to him. The calm and quiet memories bring sorrow rather than desire. He muses that desires "belong to another world that is gone from us." He is sure that his youth is lost and that he has become permanently numb and indifferent. Days pass while dead men accumulate on both sides. Paul and his comrades listen to one man's death throes for three days. They are unable to locate him despite their best efforts. The new recruits figure heavily in the dead and wounded; these reinforcements have had little training, and they drop like flies on the front. During an attack, Paul finds Himmelstoss in a dugout, pretending to be wounded. Paul tries to

Education

abstraction rather than consciousness, answers instead of questions, ideology and efficiency rather than conscience." The same could be said of the way our education has prepared us to think about the natural world. It is a matter of no small consequence that the only people who have lived sustainably on the planet for any length of time could not read, or, like the Amish, do not make a fetish of reading. My point is simply that education is no guarantee of decency, prudence, or wisdom. More of the same kind of education will only compound our problems. This is not an argument for ignorance, but rather a statement that the worth of education must now be measured against the standards of decency and human survival - the issues now looming so large before us in the decade of the 1990s and beyond. It is not education that will save us, but education of a certain kind. SANE MEANS, MAD ENDS What went wrong with contemporary culture and with education
