Most mature adults feel a responsibility to both self-education and assisting others; the majority even tax themselves to help educate others. Schooling choices are varied. If money was not problematic I would send my kids to the best schools. If money is lacking (and so far, it is) I'd send them to the best public schools within reasonable proximity.
