Some people seem born lucky. Everything they touch turns to gold. Others are dogged by misfortune. But what is luck- i would define it as the accidental way things happed without being planned. Some people say that they are lucky and others say that they are unlucky. In my opinion is not just people who might be lucky or unlucky- it can be single acts. When someone does not win a card game or misses a shot in basketball then they often think that they are unlucky. People who say that they have bad luck are negative. For example they woun´t even play bingo or take part in raffle

Terrorism and fighting against it Terrorism is not new and even though it has been used since the beginning of recorded history it can be relatively hard to define. Terrorism has been described differently as both a tactic and strategy; a crime and a holy duty; a justified reaction to oppression and an unforgivable abomination. Obviously, a lot depends on whose point of view it is being represented. Terrorism has often been an effective tactic for the weaker side in a conflict. Terrorism is most common in nations with the average political freedom, and is least common in the most democratic nations.

themselves, and they talked about authenticity and love and belonging in a way that was completely new to me. So many of us try to live our lives according to other people’s rules. We try our hardest to fit in: to do what we think we should do. We work hard at our job, because society expects us to; we don’t spend that much time having fun, because we think people would judge us as frivolous. But what’s the result of all this? We end up leading anxious and unhappy lives. No one can define what’s meaningful for us. Culture doesn’t get to dictate if it’s working outside the home, raising children, lawyering, teaching, or painting. Like our gifts and talents, meaning is unique to each one of us. Throughout human history, we’ve relied on laughter, song, and dance to express ourselves, to communicate our stories and emotions, to celebrate and mourn, and to nurture community. While most people would tell you that a life without laughter, music, and dance would
People's eyes are attracted to beauty and it's quite natural. We look at flowers, landscapes, pieces of art, and so on. We understand why it is beautiful. People also think of a man's/woman's appearance as of a masterpiece of nature and enjoy it as much as a landscape in the Alps. But is the essence of this beauty the same? Landscapes are parts of nature, pieces of art are created by gifted people; these objects are not alive, don't possess an intellect, so it is much easier to define the essence of it's meaning and purpose. Humans have divine gift of speech, abstract thinking and freedom of action. We can't but agree that it's very difficult to define, what is hiding behind good looks. Our mind is used to assume that beauty contains only good things. We forget that beauty can also be dangerous. This rule can be applied to some people that use their appearance to harm others for their own profit.

What makes a person successful ? To answer that question, we firstly have to define a word success, because I personally think that everybody does it differently, but here comes my version. Success is a moment when a person achieves a goal that they has made for himself for a long time period. In my opinion, we have to stress the words ,,long time period." Why ? Because I do not think that somebody has made an enormous success, when the goal they had made was not actually a challenge. To make it more clear to You, we should not use extremely widespread Borat's

What they have in common is a mission to penetrate that fog of uncertainty to discover a successful path to a sustainable business. I learned about startup philosophy, which is used by both startups and more mature companies. This Book part´s are Vision, Define, Learn, Experiment, Leap, Test, Measure, Pivot or Preserve, Grow and Innovate. My favorite sentence from this book is “Those who look to adopt lean startup as a defined set of steps or tactics will not succeed. In a startup situation, things constantly go wrong.” I recommend this book for everybody who are interested about startup philosophy and investing. Kristiina Toomik
Good afternoon! My name is … I will be speaking today for 10 minutes about market and marketing. At first I am going to talk about meaning of market and I must define what is market in modern marketing context. The common usage of market means a place where goods are bought or sold. A market need not necessarily mean a place of exchange. The word market is commonly used and may even mean or aim in any of the following: Market may mean a place where buying and selling take place Buyers and sellers come together for transaction An organization through which exchange of goods takes place
Which I consider to be more important: education or upbringing? I can not even define which is more important to say, education or upbringing. For me are both very important. About education: Education is provided by the school, and whose existence will be checked. Education is a prerequisite for personal development, purpose and resources. Education is a purposeful process. Education is a prerequisite for communication, rather than treatment. Educational effects will turn out truthfully, in a problematic choice of situation.

This was called the Doctrine of Signatures. 7 slajd On this picture you can see some example of herbs:
It is a well-known fact that most people will say they want to be successful in numerous, but success is many things to many people. Why is it difficult to define? What means real success to you? When we talk about success very often we think about money. Perhaps it happens because money pays a big role in our life. In other words, we can say if someone has money this person is successful. For some people the word success means being famous, for others it means being great at some specifc career. Yet for other people the word success means all together: having money, being good at one's professional life, personal life,
experiencing something they haven’t before. Usually they’ll try to explore the lesser known areas that locals suggest and not the areas where tourism drives the economy. They don’t have a plan set in stone, they’ll see what life has in store. Travelling is a personal experience, so what other people do, what they see, where they go shouldn’t affect what you do or how you feel about travelling. It’s not necessary to commit to one title or the other, but figuring out the way you define yourself can help you get the most out of your travels.

Instances have been reported in which users play compulsively, isolating themselves from, or from other forms of, social contact and focusing almost entirely on in-game achievements rather than broader life events. saw the world through his own perfection. Seemed to me, that Wright thought about other parties and societies as well and saw the whole thing from a much bigger perspective, which ultimately, makes him differ from Karl Marx. Wright also saw difference from the obedience relationship between classes, he distinguished domination and exploiting rather than just upper and lower class, which have very concrete aspects that define them. In my opinion, Wright did not think the same because he did see the society in a much larger context and bigger picture, whereas the middle class was dealing with life instead of revolutionizing, which inevitably causes inequality. Some people have business knowledge and others have skills, which necessarily makes one getting exploited by the other. What he wanted to say was, that the proletariat does not have to be against the upper class.

Many of us don't have the opportunity to live a healthy and full life , that is why we should always treat each other equally. Tolerance is all about politeness against people from other countries with other religions and cultures. People like this never discriminate others against on the basis of their sex, colour, religion, culture and so on. It is about a norm of polite society when you are interacting with another person with a different background. This means that you don't define your religion by saying "I'm not like those people over there." It means that you describe what you believe and practice it in positive ways, with as little reference to other religions as possible. Then again there are those who feel themselves comfortable and also special when someone is staring him on the street about his different race. That is a very rare but strong attitude and problems with self-confidence never appear. The basic right of every human being is the right for life

They'll only ever pay you what they think you're worth, and you control their thinking. Casey Brown told two stories. One story was about herself reevaluating her pricing to her clients. She found that eventhough she was pricing consultant an expert, she had doubts and fears too. What problems do I solve for clients? 5. What value do I add? 6. slaid communicating your value

ethics. Youth fashions became more and more bizarre , and sexual, in an attempt to rebel against the mainstream values. Some argue that the embrace of spontaneity and worship of the “primitive” have turned us towards mindlessness and violence. Hippies in 1960’s used different drugs etc to expand their counsciousness; today’s (not only) hipsters use also drugs and alcohol to relax and get away from reality. What is funny about it all, that people with similar lifestyle and habits do not define themselves as hippies, they might even hate the hippies, altough they life the same way. In my opinion, the 1960’s hippies behaviour has been an influence on today’s adolescents. At the head - hipsters. If I look at my friends and people I communicate, then many of them have the attitude “I don’t care” or the same “If it feels good, do it”. They don’t bother themselves with the opinions of others nor ask for the opinions of others
Marii Haak 2017 To start with... · Two main concepts to understand - Psychology - Psyche How do you define them? What is psychology? · The study of the soul and mind (psyche & logos) · Psychology is the scientific study of the behavior of the individuals (what we do) and their mental processes (inner thoughts and feelings) · Studies human behavior, inner experiences and circumstances under they occur · Is psychology a study of differences between people or rather a study of similarities? - General tendencies Primary goal
not a Chihuahua. In fact, inheritance is an "a... is a" relationship between classes, while instantiation is an "is a" relationship between an object and a class: a Collie is a Dog ("a... is a"), but Lassie is a Collie ("is a"). Thus, the object named Lassie has the methods from both classes Collie and Dog. Multiple inheritance is inheritance from more than one ancestor class, neither of these ancestors being an ancestor of the other. For example, independent classes could define Dogs and Cats, and a Chimera object could be created from these two which inherits all the (multiple) behavior of cats and dogs. This is not always supported, as it can be hard both to implement and to use well. Example DEFINITION MODULE Counter; PROCEDURE InitialiseCounter(InitialValue: INTEGER); PROCEDURE IncrementCounter; PROCEDURE GetCounterValue(): INTEGER; END Counter. IMPLEMENTATION MODULE Counter; VAR MyCounter: INTEGER; PROCEDURE InitialiseCounter(InitialValue: INTEGER);

Question 1 Define the following ADC terms: 1. SNR – (Signal to Noise Ratio) SNR is a calculated value that represents the ratio of RMS signal to RMS noise. 2. SINAD - (signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio) Ratio of the RMS signal amplitude to the mean value of the root-sum-square (RSS) 3. ENOB – (effective number of bits) The effective number-of-bits and relates to SINAD 4. THD - (total harmonic distortion) Ratio of the rms value of the fundamental signal to the mean value of the RSS of its harmonics. 5. SFDR - (spurious free dynamic range) Ratio of the RMS value of the signal to the RMS value of the worst spurious signal. 6. Channels - related to the inputs of the ADC can either be multiplexed or individually selected. 7. Linearity - relates to how a ADC follows a linear function. All ADCs are to a certain extend nonlinearity. 8...
