Dear John, Thank you for your letter. It was very interesting to get to know more about British Christmas and the traditions related to it, but now I would like to write about how we celebrate Christmas in Estonia. Usually we start to prepare for Christmas four weeks before it, by putting out advent candles. Each week we light one, till by Christmas it's four of those. On Christmas Eve we usually go to cemetery, where we light candles and also go to church to hear Christmas service and where well known Christmas songs are sung. After that we go home, to eat traditionally sauerkraut with potatoes and blood sausage and also roast pork or brawn. Earlier we have baked and decorated gingerbreads. Then soon Santa Claus comes with a bag full of presents. We all have to read poems or sing songs to get a present. Usually by that time it is very late already and we go to sleep to rest.
Viimast korda esines Delacroix Salongis 1859. aastal. Orphan Cemetery, Girl at the 1823 Sand George

In the last few years outdoor education has become more and more popular worldwide and in Estonia too. While there are many definitions for outdoor education, I think the best way to describe it would be outdoor education is a form of education, when learning takes place somewhere else than a classroom and the subjects are not only about the environment and nature but also linked to the national curriculum. Outdoor education often takes place on a walk around the block, a visit to the cemetery or a local post office. It can happen at a city zoo, on a forest trail, or in a national park. These kinds of locations are conducive to first- hand experiences and these places can provide direct contact with the topic and also learning this way can help participants interact and socialize. Outdoor learning can contribute towards getting deeper knowledge and understanding, better health and choices in lifestyle, valuing

1644. Following Victorian trends, the grounds and adjoining Loch Fyvie were landscaped in the 19th century. The American industrialist Alexander Leith bought the castle in 1885. It was sold to the National Trust for Scotland in 1984 by his descendants. The castle (like many Scottish castles) is said to be haunted. A story is told that in 1920 during renovation work the skeleton of a woman was discovered behind a bedroom wall. On the day the remains were laid to rest in Fyvie cemetery, the castle residents started to be plagued by strange noises and unexplained happenings. Fearing he had offended the dead woman, the Laird of the castle had the skeleton exhumed and replaced behind the bedroom wall, at which the haunting ceased.Today, the castle is open to tourists during the summer months. Crookston Castle is located in the Crookston area of south-west Glasgow, Scotland. The castle is located some 5 miles (8 km) south-west of the city centre, and 3 miles

(Wikipedia homepage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Plague_of_London) 8 CONCLUSION During my research I had a taste of life in London during the plague. How people struggled when there was no hope left. How the city was packed with dead rotting bodies and people bulled the corpses of their family members onto carts. When there was no room left in the cemetery and lots of corpses were buried in one hole. I cannot imagine the pain that people felt during the plague, how much tears they shed and how many family members and friends they lost. The largest problem in making of my research was how to divide the information. I wrote very little about the previous outbreaks of the plague. There was a lot of information but I decided to include more details about the Great Plague in London 1665 because this was the

" I hung up. I ran from the room, through the door, out into the baking heat. There was no time to look back at my house, and I didn't want to see it as it was now -- empty, a symbol of fear instead of sanctuary. The last person to walk through those familiar rooms was my enemy. From the corner of my eye, I could almost see my mother standing in the shade of the big eucalyptus tree where I'd played as a child. Or kneeling by the little plot of dirt around the mailbox, the cemetery of all the flowers she'd tried to grow. The memories were better than any reality I would see today. But I raced away from them, toward the corner, leaving everything behind me. I felt so slow, like I was running through wet sand -- I couldn't seem to get enough purchase from the concrete. I tripped several times, once falling, catching myself with my hands, scraping them on the sidewalk, and then lurching up to plunge forward again. But at last I made it to the corner. Just another

constitutes the second basic column of Estonian national symphonic music. In the Twenties and for the first half of the Thirties he was quite productive. Being a graduate from the St. Petersburg Conservatoire (1920) he was especially impressed by the music of Alexander Scriabin: later when visiting Paris, he took a serious interest in the modern currents of European music. The tone poem Viirastused (Ghosts) was an artistic reflection of his visit to the famous Paris underground cemetery. His period of renewal was introduced by the tone poem Öö hüüded (Night Calls, 1920), inspired by the impressions of a stormy night he spent in an empty seaside summer cottage.2 The restlessness of the main theme becomes menacing: Example 25. 1 Juhan Aavik.
