1.The Conceptual Architecture identifies the high-level components of the system, and the relationships among them. Its purpose is to direct attention at an appropriate decomposition other system without delving into details. Moreover, it provides a useful vehicle for communicating the architecture to non-technical audiences, such as management, marketing, and users. Logical Architecture In Logical Architecture, the externally visible properties of the components are made precise and unambiguous through well-defined interfaces and component specifications, and key architectural mechanisms are detailed. The Logical Architecture provides a detailed "blueprint" from which component developers and component users can work in relative independence. Logical Architecture. National innovation system (NIS) The national innovation systems approach stresses that the flows of technology and information among people, enterprises and institutions are key to the innovative process. Innovation and technology development are the result of a complex set of relationships among actors in the system, which includes enterprises, universities and government research institutes. For policy makers, an understanding of the national innovation system can help identify leverage points for enhancing innovative performance and overall competitiveness. It can assist in pinpointing mismatches

results come only after great efforts. Sensitivity in my integrated meaning is broad, covering literally the senses, so that deaf and blind people are less sensitive, as well as people whose senses work perfectly, but whose receptivity or thought processes are blunted for whatever reason. A person can be insensitive in one way, such as blind, and extraordinarily sensitive in another way, such as in hearing. It is also possible to be so ultra-sensitive that the result is disadvantageous. I expect no argument in asserting that a normal sensitivity is a healthy, indispensable ingredient for optimal education. Sensitivity can be heightened or blunted by education. It is intertwined with curiosity. An ideal education affords numerous and varied opportunities for students to touch, see, smell, listen, hear; to spark their curiosity. When I was a child the things that pleased me were largely other than the plants which have earned me a living as an adult

. Ülesande vastu võtnud: Tanel Friedenthal ………………………. Abstract How are 3D and BIM Changing the Design, Fabrication and Construction of Complex Steel Structures? The adoption of three-dimensional (3D) design and construction tools have created a remarkable shift in the building industry. Intelligent 3D technology in the form of Building Information Modeling (BIM) not only promises to improve the notoriously inefficient construction process, but also opens the door for designing new geometric shapes, which until recently have been considered unbuildable. Steel has been extensively used to build some of the most challenging architectural icons of the 21st century, due to its low weight and high strength in both compression and tension. Therefore, the steel

solutions using wireless networks. Being a relatively new sector, the M2M connections are expected to grow up to 55% a year in Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia between 2010 and 2013. Approximately two-thirds of mobile operators in Europe provide M2M services, being a sign of market maturity, in comparison with about half of the operators in the Americas, Asia and Oceania. By 2020 the amount of connected devices is anticipated to ascend to 25.6 billion, of which 10.5 billion use mobile technology. The automation of services and cross-industry cooperation will presumably be beneficial for the sectors of transportation, healthcare and utilities. It is predicted that the socio-economic influence of the Connected Life will save a vast amount of lives and money in healthcare and transportation and gives the opportunity for education for the children in developing countries. The economic growth of businesses in the mobile ecosystem will likely depend upon

The Rise and Demise of the New Public Management Wolfgang Drechsler (University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia) © Copyright: Wolfgang Drechsler 2005 Within the public sphere, the most important reform movement of the last quarter of a century has been the New Public Management (NPM). It is of particular interest in the post-autistic economics (pae) context because NPM largely rests on the same ideology and epistemology as standard textbook economics (STE) is based (for my take on this, see Drechsler 2000), and it has had, and still has, similar results. Already more on the defensive within public administration (PA) than STE is within economics, NPM also shows that such major paradigm shifts in theory and policy may actually happen
There is some of them. In organisational behavior and industrial and organisational psychology, organisational commitment is the individual's psychological attachment to the organisation. Organisational commitment predicts work variables such as turnover, organisational citizenship behavior, and job performance. In Business Dictionary is written that organisational commitment is a strength of the feeling of responsibility that an employee has towards the mission of the organisation. Porter et al further describes organisational commitment as an attachment to the organisation, characterised by an intention to remain in it; an identification with the values and goals of the organisation; and a willingness to exert extra effort on its behalf. Another perspective on organisational commitment is the "exchanged-based definition" or "side- bet" theory. This theory holds that individuals are committed to the organisation as far as they hold
Considering this, governments nowadays have a task to evaluate the work of their civil service, to make it more productive and cost-effective. For this, different methods have been discussed, being influenced by different contexts, religion and other factors. Constant pressure on civil service forces governments to improve its performance and make it more and more effective. With a “help” of New Public Management and its rationalism and managerialism public management and civil service has been influenced in many countries either voluntarily or under duress. Due to new public management public sector has become more like private sector putting emphasis on instruments that drives from its “culture”, designing public sector to become and act more like private sector organisations. From this influence is inspired the pay-for performance tool that in private sector is usually used with car salesmen or with other sale fields. In very simplistic way pay-for

- Wolfram Alpha, an online service that answers queries by computing the answer from structured data [10]. Projects mentioned above all possess the same structure of having 4 primary stages [11][12]. - Data is collected, examined, cleaned, prepared, split by its origin and where it should be placed. It can come in many forms, ranging from social media posts to website cookies. In a game, it involves setting up viable moves, making the data easily accessible for future use. In voice recognition applications it is required to make separate databases for different languages. - A set of instructions is set, on what to do with the data by selecting algorithms and setting the goal in mind. In a game, it can be achieved by granting the learner points for every right choice he does and penalizing for bad ones according to the algorithm used.
Case Google 1. What were the key factors behind Google's early success? There were 4 main key factors behind Google's early success: · Perfecting an innovative search engine- clearly the most important factor for Google's success. Google stopped counting keywords like old search engines and started using famous Page Rank algorithm. A reliable searches through the number of websites that link to a page to weight search result relevance. · Google focusing on the user- Focus on the user and all else will follow. Attraction for users were the no-nonsense simple white search pages and distractive colorful logo with no ads or editorial content on the page lead to easy and fast search that Yahoo couldn't imitate. · Google delivered search results people really wanted- trustworthy for users. The promised not to sell placement in search results to advertisers and instead

The first section discusses what AES is, how it works, and who the major purveyors of the technology are. The second section describes outgrowths of the technology as it applies to on-going projects in measurement and education. In 1973, the late Ellis Page and colleagues at the University of Connecticut programmed the first successful automated essay scoring engine, "Project Essay Grade (PEG)" (1973). The technology was foretold some six years earlier in a landmark Phi Delta Kappan article entitled, "The Imminence of Grading Essays by Computer" (Page, 1966)

Girli Vasiljev HAAGAHELIA University of Applied Sciences RB1X 12.12.2011 Consumer behavior Introduction Each and every one of us is a consumer. We buy products and services every day. But why do we prefer one product or service to another? What leads us to make the right decision before every purchase? There are many aspects influencing our decision making process and thereby our consumer behavior. Attitudes, perceptions, image, roles, motivations, determinants etc. encourage us to buy or not to buy a product or service. (Cooper & Gilbert, 2008, p. 43) There are many different definitions about consumer behavior. Emphasizing the most important ones and referring to the decision making models I will try

among them are the very same jobs that people are queuing to get out of, says John Lees, author of How to Get a Job You'll Love and Take Control of Your Career. Many of us get to the point, whether in our twenties, thirties, forties or fifties where we decide to change careers. Some of us will make radical changes, while others will move to the edge of their comfort zone, perhaps shifting from acupuncturist to homeopath or PR office to journalist. But the key to making the right decision, says Lees, is to bring your dream back down to life with a hard thump. "I always say to people, 'Find out what you will actually be doing in the job of your dreams. What does the nitty-gritty day-to- day work involve?'" Conversely, he says, people should not be put off by their dreams. "If you did a straw poll of the number of peoplewho think about changing career and those who actually do it, you'd be looking at less than 5 per cent. And yet it's never been easier
when things go wrong. Only by adopting a mindset of full responsibility will you be able to make the most of your talents. When author observe managers and directors who continually achieve success there is often a cerain characteristic a mixture of firmness, strength af character, courage, integrity, and being true to oneself that he calls ,,bottle". Throughout your career you will have many opportunities to show your ,,bottle". By making the right choices ones that show your courage and integrity you will grow and mature as a manager and as a person. Building on the ,,bottle" factor, it is worth noting the importance in general of having a positive attitude about your abilities. The skill and commitment may be there in abundance, but a negative or cautious approach can undermine your potential every time. Though very few would actually welcome adversity, advice is to see it for what it is and make

Unfortunately this technology has been relegated in a niche market due to several factors such as proprietary standards, high price tag, limited integration with existing telephony environments. However in the last couple of years the situation changed dramatically since some open source tools such as asterisk as well as low-cost
