BARRIERS TO DISTRICT HEATING DEVELOPMENT IN SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Only certain components for production and distribution of district heating are manufactured in a single country, which calls for international cooperation. The Swedish Government provides certain but limited support to promotion of district heating business abroad. For example, Swedish district heating consultants work abroad but it is seldom followed by goods export. financing the DH value chain Financing is a large barrier to district heating development. DH systems require large investments and may have long payback times. The cash flow is negative for a long time during the establishment of a new DH system. Time horizons are distant, which stresses financers in our present situation of rapidly changing conditions. Private companies often focus on short-term profit and public involvement may be necessary for the deployment, modernisation and long- term development of district heating systems.

The Dog fence

The Dog Fence When you think about the world's longest manmade structures, China and Great Britain (Stonehenge) spring to mind. Very rarely does the Australian continent get a mention, which is a shame, because the Dog Fence, or Dingo Fence, is the longest structures on earth. The Dingo Fence is a barrier that was built in Australia during the 1880s and finished in 1885.This fence was built only on one purpose: to stop dingoes (Australia’s wild dogs) from killing sheep. It is one of the longest structures on the planet, and the world's longest fence. it’s 3,307 miles long. That makes about 5,320 km. That is about two and a half times longer than the Great Wall of China. The fence starts near the coast of Great Australian Bight and ends up

) There are about ten times more sheep than people in Australia. Sheep are raised for wool and for meat. In Australia what Americans call a ranch is known as a station. Stations are very big. Some stations are so big they have to use planes to keep track of the animals. The most famous animals in Australia are marsupials. A marsupial is a mammal that has a pouch to carry its young. Some kangaroos can jump 30 feet. The koala sometimes stays in the same tree for days and is endangered. The Great Barrier Reef is also in Australia. It is made up of coral and algae. Coral are tiny invertebrate animals. The Great Barrier Reef is about 1250 miles long. There is a channel of water that separates the reef from the Queensland coast. It is the largest deposit of coral in the world. It is also the world's largest living structure. Australia's national sport is Cricket. ,,Emigrating" (essay)

Young people often move away from their homeland, because they think that they might get a better education, if they study in a well-known university. Finally, you can find a lot of new friends. However, for every plus there is a minus. The main disadvantage is that you might start feeling homesick, because you have left all your relatives and friends behind. Culture shock can also be a problem. It might not be so easy to get used to local traditionds and customs. Moreover, the language barrier might be a huge problem. In conclusion, I think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Although it depends very much on the person, who emigrates, it seems to me that in general emigration is a good thing.

Why learn English?

Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family. In addition to that it is a whole lot easier to find a job abroad, if you are fluent in English, because they are looking for workers who are able to talk with no language barrier and it shows that you are open to different challenges. All in all, I find that learning English is extremely important and useful, because we can use it everywhere and everytime.

Studying abroad

Studying abroad is becoming more and more popular in young people. But why is that so? Studying and living abroad puts one young person to very difficult situation, he or she has to become independent. You do not have your parents right next to you, you have to handle everyday -life yourself. Maybe the beginning itself is hard, but it is definately useful. You learn to live life on your own. One of the disadvantages is language barrier, especially when you are going to country, where the English is not a spoken language. So the previous work with that new language is vital. Also when you are in that atmosphere you learn new language very quickly. And here comes advatage from disadvatage you learn to communicate in totally new language. But the most harder aspect in my opinion of studying abroad is that you cannot look away from homesickness. It comes earlier or later

persistent on staying on that path is even more important than a well-rounded education. An excellent example to support that idea is Steve Jobs, one of the founders of Apple Inc., who had a poor education, but a clear vision of what he wants to do. Conclusively, one will be able to foresee even some of the hurdles one will or will not have to overcome, a physicist knows, that his physical condition won't be a barrier on his way to success. Secondly, resilience should be a key word for every success-seeker. Everyone meets setbacks in terms of opposing people, financial troubles, or one might just be lacking in time. However, giving up on one's dreams is definitely not the solution. Depending on the problem blocking the path to success, one should keep plugging away towards the goal or give the situation some time to settle and try to tackle them after some time.

And with the population growing, it will become an even bigger probleem. This means people in the future may not have enough resources, because right now humans are using too much. Another huge problem is global warming. The effects of global warming can already be seen today. Half of the Great Barrier Reef already dead because of the increasing temperature. At that time people talked in Celtic language, which later on was evolved to Welsh. When Kingdom of Mercia invaded England it the was the most powerful from 650800. The Welsh people didn't want to surrender so they kept fighting back but they sadly lost their land to this powerful new kingdom. Wat's Dyke was the first permanent boundary between the Welsh and English people. In England the period from 800-1000 AD is often called the late Anglo-Saxon period. Anglo- Saxon kingdoms liked nationalism. Numerous attempts were made throughout this period to create, if not a nation of Wales, then at least larger and more powerful kingdoms within Wales. She set six personal bests in the seven disciplines including a 1.94m high jump and an exceptional 200m of 22.98s. At one stage she was on the brink of elimination from the competition after overstepping on the first two of her three long jump attempts but ended up recording the best jump of the competition with 6.68m. She was later awarded Waterford Crystal European Athlete of the Year Trophy 2003. That same year, Klüft also received the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal.

washed by the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Australia has an even coastline. The northern coast is more idented (tasane). There are the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Cape York Peninsula in the north. The Great Australian Bight washes the southern coast. The seas and oceans that wash the coasts of Australia are warm. The Coral Sea is the warmest that is why many corals live in the seas. The skeletons of these tiny organisms have formed a great belt of coral the Great Barrier Reef. It is 2000 kilometres long and 2-150 kilometres wide. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef on earth. Tourists from everywhere visit it because it is a unique natural phenomenon. There can be found more than 300 varieties of corals with colours ranging from pale blue to bright yellow. Recently, black coral, the rarest of type all, was found on one of the reefs. There are also big-game fish, like the coral cod, which weighs up to 200 pounds. The Relief

Forestry and fishing. Forests cover about 6 per cent of Australia. The majority of Australia's trees are eucalyptuses. The wood of eucalyptus is used for making paper, floorboards and furniture. Although Australia is surrounded by water, its fishing resources are limited. They catch shellfish, lobsters, oysters, prawns and scallops, also salmon and tuna. Tourism. Australia has a variety of tourist attractions. They include wildlife sanctuaries, sandy beaches, the Great Barrier Reef, the Australian Alps and much more. Tourism aids the economy. About half of Australia's visitors come from nearby, especially New Zealand, Japan and Southeast Asia. These places are also the ones most visited by Australian tourists. Foreign trade. Farm exports remain vital to the nation's economy. For many years, Great Britain was Australia's chief trading partner. But today, Japan is Australia's biggest customer. It especially buys coal, iron ore, and other minerals

until we have built, unwrittingly, a better society. The most fruitful central idea for future is to be found in the main doctrine of the British Labour Party. Author is convinced that the faith of the Party in a moderate and democratic form of Socialism is a natural outcome of our slowly growing faith in human liberty, equality and brotherhood and represents the next step in our social emancipation. The main evil from which we suffer and the main barrier to social progress is the disgraceful inequality in the distribution of income and property that we still tolerate. We can only remove this evil by abolishing property as a main source of income for anyone. To do this, it will be necessary to modify the right of inheritance so that it is only possible to pass comparatively small sums of money or nothing at all from generation to generation. Private monopolistic control will bring into existence a better balanced and a more securely

More than one speaker has tripped over that cord on the walk across the podium. · Try moving out and around from the lectern. Skilled speakers know that the lectern can represent a barrier between a speaker and the audience. That's why many novice speakers stand rooted behind it, often leaning on it for support. The lectern becomes both a prop and defense barrier. But, if you observe experienced speakers, you'll notice they will move from one side of the lectern to the other as if signaling that they are anxious to make better contact with the audience. Some will also stand at the side and casually put
