Comparing artists This report describes two different artists. The first one is Troyal Garth Brooks, American country music artist, and the second one is Tracy Chapman, American pop singer and songwriter. United Kingdom Country Music determined that Garth Brooks has taken country music further than any other performer. He has reached the widest possible audience, gained phenomenal success, yet still retained the basic ingredients of country music. His eponymous first album was released in 1989.
Museums and art galleries of London London is very rich in museums and art galleries. If you are fond of painting you'll go to the Tate Gallery. A rich sugar manufacturer Henry Tate founded it in 1897. There are about 300 oils and 19000 watercolours and drawings. There are many works by the English painter William Turner there. Most of his paintings are connected with the sea theme. There are a lot of paintings by the 16-th century English artists and paintings by foreign artists of the 19-20- th centuries. There are some paintings by impressionists there. You can see works by modern painters: Pablo Picasso among them. There are many interesting sculptures there. Henry Moor's can be seen there. He was a famous British sculptor. The National Gallery is one of the most important picture galleries in the world. The Tate Gallery is the most necessary compliment to the National Gallery as it contains contemporary works particularly by English and French masters

Navajo rugs are one of the most popular crafts, not only for a floor rug but to hang as a wall tapestry. Silversmithing Silversmithing is an important art form among Navajo. Silversmithing dates back to the 1800s when Navajo artists began melting silver coins to make jewelry. By the 1890s, Navajo silversmiths had begun setting turquoise into their jewelry. Navajo smiths began adding large chunks of stones, usually turquoise, to the silver in unique designs. Over time, they developed tools and techniques to stamp or engrave the metal. Today, Navajo jewelry is well known and highly valued by both Native and non-Native Americans. It remains a distinctive feature of Navajo history and culture.

I think that Lady Gaga's concert will be different than other artists concerts. I have seen one Lady Gaga concert in television and It was amazing. Who is your favourite superstar? Dear Mr. Roberts, 14/01/2016 I am writing this letter to protest against the recent decision to close down the schools art studio. I would like to let you know that I truly believe it is a bad idea. First of all, the studio offers a large variety of services that aspiring artists can use. Very few students can allow themselves to have this opportunity and kind of equipment at home. Further more, the instructors in the studio help young promising artists discover and develop their talents. Secondly, the art studio is situated in an excellent place and is open round the clock, which is very convenient for the students as it allows them to relax and study there without going too far away from the school. The venue can also be used to host exhibitions where artists can demonstrate their works of art. Thirdly, I feel that it is my responsibility to let you know, unless the arts department’s decision is changed, a protest will be held.
should not do it but the question is, should we be able to do it legally. To begin with, music is a big part of our lives. If children were not given the ability to cheer them up with music, the depression levels would definitely be higher, as well as less motivation in children. For an example, the average American child listens to 4 hours of music in a day. I personally listen to at least 5 hours of music a day and all that from the computer when I get home. Secondly, the artists would not have such big crowds at their shows and concerts. This way, the artists are getting more recognition and popularity. They are even getting more feedback, which songs people like more. Thirdly, downloading can lead to more purchases of CDs and such. Children especially, who have a favourite band or artist, want to support them or show other friends that they have a material piece from the band. More or less, they are supporting the artists by purchasing their merch.
Report on the artists' financial support Aim of the report According to a recent survey, many artists could soon be having some serious money problems as The National Art Association is planning to stop paying a financial support to professional painters and it seems that they can not sell their paintings either. The survey which interviewed over 1000 The National Art Gallery guests was conducted by British Government. It found that guests are not flattered to buy art. Expensive Two out of five thought that it is nonsense to buy a painting. They thought that

" — JR I choose the topic for writing an essay - street art. Why did I choose this genre? Because for me it is something magical and special, not at all similar to those works that are in museums, at exhibitions and so on. Think for yourself, because street art began with the graffiti, and now we can see on the streets of our city just a work of art. I think graffiti, by the way, is also a great and invaluable work. Trends are changing. Now, young artists are moving from an endless unthinking tagging to a more conceptual and rich sense, abstract and volumetric work. Street art has become popular among the general public, because it is more accessible to him both in content and in location: for art, now you do not need to go to a museum or gallery, and the meaning of the work is often clear at a glance. In our environment there are not enough professional critics and theorists who could competently evaluate and describe the work of street artists
backing beats. Hip hop music is part of hip hop culture, which began in the Bronx, in New York City in the 1970s, predominantly among African Americans and Latino Americans.[1][2] The term rap is often used synonymously with hip hop music. Rapping, also referred to as MCing or emceeing, is a vocal style in which the performer speaks rhythmically and in rhyme, generally to a beat, recently, however, a difference has developed between "rapping" and "MCing". "MCing" has been used to describe those artists who possess and exercise superior lyrical ability and prowess. Beats are traditionally generated from portions of other songs by a DJ, or sampled from portions of other songs by a producer, though synthesizers, drum machines, and live bands are also used, especially in newer music. Rappers may perform poetry which they have written ahead of time, or improvise rhymes on the spot with or without a beat. Though rap is usually an

Art Increased Nationalism and exoticism - Artist used their works for highlighting national identity and displayed exoticism by painting new and foreign things, including far away places and odd objects. More interest in Nature and the Supernatural - Artists often used nature to convey emotions. Also the supernatural represented emotions. For example: love-cupids, fear -demons, and many other characteristics. Individuality- it was all about loosing formal constraints, giving way to artists to show their individual ideas and emotions. Heroism- Heroism didn't just mean the supernatural. Many people, like Beethoven, believed that the common man could be heroes. Artists painted this idea during the Romantic Age. Artists: J.M.W

Kristjan Raud Kristjan Raud (18651943) belongs to the older generation of Estonian artistic pathfinders. Together with his twin brother Paul Raud and his contemporary artist, Ants Laikmaa, he managed to break through the obstacles set before the Estonians by the prevailing peasant mentality and the extremely classconscious society of the time. Kristjan Raud was one of the first Estonian artists who is brave enough to try and make his career in his homeland, although his talent and connections in the art world, established already during his studies in Germany and St.Petersburg would have enabled him to easily merge in either place. The long years of study in St.Petersburg, Dusseldorf and Munich ended in 1903 when Kristjan Raud settled at home. A great part of K. Dear Mr Roberts I am writing to express my concern about the closing of the art studio and to bring out a couple of reasons why the art studio should be left open. First of all, the teachers of the studio are offering to tutor many possible artists. That way the new skills are guaranteed to be learned. In Addition, the studio is located in an easily accessible area and it is open 24 hours a day, so that students from all over the city can attend the art department anytime they want. Furthermore, young talents can exhibit their creations in the studio. Also, there are many necessary facilities that can be used in various situations, such as having an art exhibition, where all the students can show their greatest masterpieces.
Environment al art Marika Rodionova 11a What is that? The term "environmental art" often encompasses "ecological" concerns but is not specific to them. It primarily celebrates an artist's connection with nature using natural materials. The concept is best understood in relationship to historic earth/Land art and the evolving field of ecological art. The field is interdisciplinary in the fact that environmental artists embrace ideas from science and philosophy. When Akon was released he continued to write and record songs at his home, and was eventually discovered by SRC/Universal, who liked his distinct vocals and Southern beats. His debut album Trouble was released in June 2004. Akon was off to a great start after the singles Locked up, Lonely, and Ghetto became huge hits in the U.S., UK, Australia, and Germany. Although Trouble was a popular album, it was Akon's collaboration with other artists that really brought him into the limelight. In 2005 Akon was featured in Young Jeezy's song, Soul Survivor which appeared on the top five list of the Billboard Hot 100. When Akon produced his second album, Konvicted, he worked with artists such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Styles P. Akon released the album in November 2006 and it included 3 huge hit singles. Reasons why people work In today's society it is known that people work because they need money to live. As Leonardo da Vinci said " God sells us all things at the price of labour " and unfortunately it tends to be true. However, there are still some of the other reason why people work. As Mothet Teresa said " Work without love is slavery" and fortunately there are many people in world who work because they love what they do. For example artists, musicians and actors do not earn a lot of money, however they can give the world something we need- entertainment. In addition to musicians, actors, and artists there are many other sincere, thoughtful and open-minded people who find time in addition to their daily work to help those who need help giving food to homeless people, helping children who are left without parents and taking care for the animals in the shelter. These people are doing this without getting any

The house really looks fantastic, it is surrounded with a luxuriant garden. And it's a quiet area, but the best thing about it is that it is less that kilometer from the city center. Inside, the house is nice and comfortable. It has two floors. On the ground floor there is bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. Upstairs there is my own huge bedroom and bathroom. I hope I'll see you here soon, darling! Yours sincerely, Katrin Agejeva

RELAX It doesn't take long to get into the swing of things, as I found out. Café de L'Opera is the classiest venue on Las Ramblas, the city's most famous boulevard. You can enjoy a coffee amid the ornate art-deco interior fittings or sit outside on the terrace and enjoy a jug of sangria. It is said that if you sit on Las Ramblas long enough the whole world will pass you by. At the very least, you will be entertained by the steady stream of mime artists, fire-eaters, singers, living statues, jugglers and musicians who busk there from dusk until daybreak.
