Artikli “Why workers still identify with organizations” kokkuvõte

Kodune töö nr 1 – artikli kokkuvõte: “Why workers still identify with organizations” Artikkel “Miks töötajad ikka samastuvad organisatsioonidega” räägib, kuidas inimesed on osa organisatsioonist ja kuidas nad muutuvad, kui nad asuvad tööle. Kaasa-aegsetes organisatsioonides on omad barjäärid, millega peab samastuma. On olemas kaks samastumisviisi: kui inimene aitab kaasa organisatsiooni edule, siis ta tunneb, et ka ta ise on väärtuslik ja edukas; teiseks muutumine, suheldes teiste töötajatega. Tuleb avardada organisat-siooni huvisid, et iga töötaja oleks kursis, mida organisatsioon korraldab, millega tegeleb ja millised on uuendused. Kasulik on mu...

Chinese toy factories introduction  There’s a reason how US children can have their toys so cheap.  About 75% of the world's toys come from China, where migrant workers are paid an average salary of $240 a month.  Extreme poverty in China's rural areas drives many people from the countryside into the cities to look for these types of jobs.  facts  Every day, the workers have to arrive 15 minutes before the regular work shift begins for a work assembly.  Their living conditions are prison-like. Up to six people share small, cramped dormitories and up to 50 people share one bathroom.  Schools send student workers to these factories to do “internships."  Some factories promise workers a 10- minute break after every two hours of work.  Most workers never have benefited from these promises.  After the work shift, there's another

What are the benefits of factory work? A factory is an industrial building where workers manufacture goods or supervise machines processing one product into another. Most modern factories have large warehouses or warehouse-like facilities that contain heavy equipment used for assembly line production. In factory work there are some things why there is good to work, but also some things that are bad. But about the benefits of factory work, I think that the most important benefit is that when you do something so many times, then you get used to doing it right and you don't mess it up

Working at home or in an office

Working at home or in an office With the development of communication technology many companies offer their employees a possibility to work at home instead of going to office every day. This option has many positive sides but also some negative. Firstly working at home is more comfortable for workers. Their working schedule is more flexible because work has to be done for certain date and if they do their work faster then there is more free time to be with a family, play sports etc. In many cases workers who work at home are more creative and their working results are better. Sometimes lack of inspiration or poor working results may be caused by the small office. Working at home has also some negative sides. When working at home workers can not communicate with each others from face to face

Report about Steffani Pizza Restaurant

Firstly, I have to point out that the customers are very satisfied with the prices and they are probably willing to pay higher prices, if Steffani wants to raise the prices. There is something specail about the atmosphere, because my research show that people spend there about two times more than in other eating places in Pärnu. Secondly, I have to mention that the food is quite delicious. Bad points of Steffani Pizza Restaurant The biggest problem with Steffani seems to be their workers. Actually they are in desperate need of new workers. The questionnaire shows that people will have to wait for about an hour, to get their food but if they made pizzas faster, there could be more customers, which also would mean bigger profits. Conclusion and recommendation To sum up, I have to say that everything is perfect except services. They need to hire some new workers and and in the nearest future.

Proposal

Proposal I think our school lunch breakbrake system has gone out of control. There are too many people eating at the same time and canteen workers have to rush all the time, because everyone has to have food on their table. Many people have already stopped eating in the canteen and are buying snacks, hamburgers and Ffrench fries, which has a negative effect on pupils weight and healthiness. School should be the first place for students, where to go eating. We have to wait in the line for 10 minutes and then we have only 10 minutes for eating and together with having no space while having a lunch it makes a big chaos

Law of Diminishing Returns

What is the law of diminishing returns? Why this proposition is called a "law"? It states that, at some point- when we add more variable input to a fixed input- our marginal product will start to decrease as the newly added variable input is being added to an already increasingly scares input. This can be explained by citing an example, if we add more workers to a job, such as assembling a car. At some point, adding more workers would cause problems, as they would be getting in each other's way, or workers wold often find themselves waiting for access to specific part or tool required for the job. This proposition is called a law because it is standardized and applicable on all the production processes. Any manufacturing and production company can use this proposition (or Law) to their betterment. Is Tony right in his analysis of the situation? Explain.

Marxism  Why to be for Marxism? 1. Belief that a working labour could be seen as joy if a workers sees themselves in the objects they have created. 2. Against exploitation of workers which basically means that workers labour is resold at a higher price than he gets paid for it. 3. Classless society which means that everyone is equal in a basic sense as a member of the tribe and the different functional assignments of the primitive mode of production, howsoever rigid and stratified they might be, did not and could not, simply because of the numbers, produce a class society as such.  Why to be against Marxism? 1. Contact The primary method of obtaining aniline - restoration of nitrobenzene. Not found in nature. To my regret there is no information about aniline contact with humans on the internet, so I will just make a guess and inference from all I have raed on this theme. Aniline can be dangerous to workers during transport (damage equipment, etc.) Dyes are made from aniline, chemists who are engaged, are at risk of poisoning. Aniline can be absorbed through the skin or by inhalation. Thus, the danger increases. If the worker does not use all the means of protection, it is subjected to greater risk. A large number of workers in chemical. industry (aniline factories) is in danger of aniline poisoning: textile (dyeing and printing),

"Learning and speaking foreign languages.."

"Learning and speaking foreign languages can open doors in my private life and professional life" The process of learning foreign languages can be very difficult and time-consuming, but knowing them is certainly very useful and important. Where and how is the ability of speaking foreign languages good for us? Speaking foreign languages in professional life is very important. Why should an employer prefer you to the other workers when you`re in the same level with them? Speaking foreign languages besides your native language helps you to stand out from the others workers and it gives you the advantage. I have noticed that if you searching a job in Estonia it ´s important to knowing foreign languages like english, russian and finnish, in many places it`s even compulsory. Knowing the foreign languages gives you the opportunity find the better job that you will love.

Mother Theresa

Mother Teresa Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu /agns gna bjadju/ (Albanian Gonxha for "rosebud") was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, now the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Although she was born on August 26, 1910, she considered August 27, 1910, the day she was baptized, to be her "true birthday." Although some sources state that she was 10 when her father died, in an interview with her brother, the Vatican documents her age at the time as "about eight". She was the youngest of the children of a family from Shkodër, Albania, born to Kolë and Dranafile Bojaxhiu (Albanian Dranafile for "rose", nicknamed "Drone"). Her father, Kolë Bojaxhiu was involved in Albanian politics. In 1919, after a political meeting, which left Skopje out of Albania, he fell ill and died when Agnes was about eight years old. After her father's death, her mother raised her as a Roman Catholic. According to a biography by Jo...

But his belief that he understood the people better than their political leaders is best represented by his claim during prohibition. For Ford, at least early on, the seduction of wages still required its opposite for effective motivation- morality; workers had to be shown how to behave and what to do with their new-found wealth. In sum, Ford sought of dominate his workers, just as he dominated his managers and family. Domination, or, if neccessary, a battle of attraction until he achieved domination, was just about the only organizational tactic that Ford used.

The percent of the diseases among the tractor drivers is shockingly 69%. Next come the car drivers and farmers. The percent of the occupational diseases among their area of work is 33%. Less alarming, but still worth mentioning, are the sewerage workers (8%), the excavator drivers (7%) and the welders (5%). Conclusion: In conclusion, the most concerning occupations are the ones that are dangerous, because of the chemicals or the machinery. Also the occupations, where the worker has to do one thing repetitively or for a long time; like sitting or lifting and/or holding something for a long time. Technology in our daily lives

there are many others whose effects are less positive. We may find examples of these in the world of work, in the area of information technology and in the home. In the world of work, technological advances have had various negative effects. The development of robotics has meant that in industries such as carmanufacturing robots are replacing people. They work faster and more accurately and they do not need breaks. As a result, industrial workers see job opportunities dwindling further and unemployment levels rising. Furthermore, rapid advances in information technology mean that fewer people are needed in fulltime employment. More and more people are working from home using personal computers, which can result in a sense of isolation. Home workers also lose the stimulus that comes from working in direct contact with other people. Another example of the negative effect of technological change can be found on the

Tšernobõl, Chernobyl

The Chernobyl accident in 1986 was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. The resulting steam explosion and fires released at least 5% of the radioactive reactor core into the atmosphere and downwind. Two Chernobyl plant workers died on the night of the accident, and a further 28 people died within a few weeks as a result of acute radiation poisoning. The April 1986 disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Ukraine was the product of a flawed Soviet reactor design coupled with serious mistakes made by the plant operators. Despite tensions, the march was a resounding success. More than a quarter of a million people of diverse ethnicities attended the event. Why learn English?

Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family. In addition to that it is a whole lot easier to find a job abroad, if you are fluent in English, because they are looking for workers who are able to talk with no language barrier and it shows that you are open to different challenges. All in all, I find that learning English is extremely important and useful, because we can use it everywhere and everytime.
