Dream trip My wish would be to go on a trip to the Caribbean Islands with my friends. I would like to go away for a while from Estonia where its cold and windy and enjoy the sun, warm weather, the beautiful sea and the cloudless sky on the beach. The trip to the Carribbean should certainly be with a plane but we would need a car and someone who could drive us. The suncream would protect us from the unsafe sun and we would lie in the shade on palm trees. We wouldn't be interested of sightseeing on this trip because it's a place where you can have much fun and relax. And of course i wouldn't say no to a ride on a luxurious yacht.. We wouldn't stay the nights at the beach, but in some overpriced and luxurious hotel. The rooms would be spacious and the windows would be wide and of course there should be a large balcony where we could enjoy the sunsets. Literary stylistics Literary stylistics means of artistic expressiveness, that characterises a literary work, a writer, a literary trend or a home epoch. Denotation, Connotation Meaning has two vital elements, one is denotation (a direct reference, meaning proper) and the other, connotation (additional shade of meaning). Synonyms for connotation (overtone, colouring, charge). The majority of words have denotation only e.g tree, stone, to take, bag, window, etc. Connotation may be permanent part of the meaning of the word. Then it is called inherent (ever-present). Adherent (a shade of meaning the word acquires, develops in a particular context only), and outside this context this is not present. The first word of the pair comes down from Old English whereas the second one is a Scandinavian borrowing. Examples of native doublets are 'shadow' ('тень') and 'shade! Both are derived from the same Old English word 'sceadu'. 'Shade' is developed from the Nominative case, 'sceadu' is derived from oblique ease 'sceadwe'. The words 'drag' and 'draw' both come from Old English 'dragan' ('тащить') Etymological doublets also arise as a result of shortening when both the shortened form and the full form of the word are used: 'defense' - 'защита' - 'fence' - ''забор'; 'history' - 'история' - 'story' - 'рассказ'.
